(a) Business purposes Research done by Banital Lal (2010) showed that mobile phones are said to enable home workers to remain connected for work purpose at anytime, anywhere, irrespective time of location. The findings show that home workers tried to distinguish between work and home by allocating specific time and space to each domain, but nevertheless remained connected via their mobile phones outside the time and space allocated for work activity. This resulted in work crossing into the home domain and individuals potentially becoming connected and contactable at anytime and anywhere. Many people use websites like Facebook for a little light relief during a break from work, or when they are unwinding at home. Most of the businesses of all sizes use sites like Facebook and Twitter to promote their products, brands and services. 3.0 THE DISADVANTAGES USAGE OF MOBILE PHONES.

(a) Social Problems Other than harming humans health, these vast evolving technologies will also contribute to the social problems. One of the surveys done by Lenhart et al (2010), they had found that 800 American young people between ages 12 to 17 shown that half of the teens were sending 50 or more than 50 messages in a day and average of 100 message daily for the older teenage girls.

Meanwhile Nilesonwire (2008) had reported that the monthly statistics for 18-24 years-old were 265 voice calls and 790 messages. Meanwhile for 13-17 years olds, the number were for 231 voice calls a month and sending (or receiving) for about 1,742 text messages which is the same with 58 texts message sent or received per day. These had proven had the young people have been actively in developing the potential of the mobile phone. Even though it is one of the important medium of communications but some also had misused it and they were exposed to the social problems. For teenagers and young adult, it is a medium for their social development; whereby friendship are being initiated, developed and broken membership; romantic affliction may emerge and the relationship with family members may be shift. Thus, for young people, the mobile phone is not simply instruments for conveying information but a lifeline for managing social interaction. We often heard of the missing children and raping cases in the media and these are

one of the effects of mobile phone on social problem. Some of them start their relationship with strangers from their mobile phone through some social websites. Once they get excited to meet each other, they will forget about their own safety and as a result some with end up with being raped or kidnapped.

(b) Languages Improper usage of the short form terms in text messaging also one of the disadvantages of the mobile phone especially for the teenagers. The young people are too keen in developing the potential of the mobile phone. For examples, they initiate to use shortcuts in text messaging such the abbreviation u for you or the acronym LOL for laughing out loud. That is why the teenagers tend to misspell some words especially in their writing as they are too often to use shortcuts.

(c) Crime Frauds through the mobile phones also became the alternatives for some irresponsible people to take advantages on others . Some companies call their customer and get them to purchase something and sometimes mentioned that they had won some prizes or the lucky customer of the month. Then, they need them to expose their card number.

Besides, losing a mobile phone used to mean only the loss of contact information, call histories, text messages, and perhaps photos. However, in more recent years, losing a smartphone can also endanger financial information stored on the device in banking and payment apps, as well as usernames and passwords used to access apps and online services. If the phone is stolen, attackers could use this information to access the users bank account or credit card accoun t. An attacker could also steal, publicly reveal, or sell any personal information extracted from the device, including the users information, information about contacts, and GPS locations. Even if the victim recovers the device, he or she may receive many spam emails and SMS/MMS messages and may become the target for future phishing attacks.

Some personal and business services add a layer of authentication by calling a users mobile phone or sending an additional password via SMS before allowing the user to log onto the services website. A stolen mobile phone gets an attacker one step closer to accessing the services as the user. If the device contains the owners

username and password for the service, the attacker would have everything necessary to access the service.

(d) Wasting Time / Costing According to Pan Hui et al (2009 ) with more than 30 million mobile phone users in the United Kingdom on monthly contracts, and this translate to millions of pounds each year being wated on unused minutes and texts. The problem getting worse by the loyalty deals that many mobile phone companies offer existing customers at the end they will be more excited to renewing their contracts. Typically, customer are offered additional minutes and texts as well as a new phone, rather than giving them money off their existing deals, leading to even more more unused minutes and texts. Their studies also revealed that on average, people with mobile phone contracts waste 912 inclusive texts and 19 hours 36 minutes if inclusive phone airtime each year.

In addition the customer will tend to switch to lower tariff plans in order to save money, but they are two drawbacks to this proposal. Firstly, users monthly usage fluctuate and a cheaper contract with a lower level of provision can cause user to end up spending more money if he overshoots his monthly limit. Second, the user sharing their unused minutes and texts will benefit more by trading their unused minutes and texts, particularly those on plans with unlimited text tariffs.
