SCHOOL OF MISSIONS
School of Missions is the umbrella ministry for all shortterm mission teams endeavoring to share the heart of Beltway Park by partnering with local churches in the Nations of the earth. The emphasis of the school is team preparation, understanding cross-cultural ministry and service to the local churches we partner with. The School fosters unity of purpose between all of the teams being sent out from Beltway Park. During the year the School of Missions will provide three sessions for mission teams to worship and pray together, and hear a short teaching on various pertinent topics. Participation in these sessions is for all team members. We encourage everyone to experience the hands-on ministry of sharing Jesus through a mission trip. Whether using drama, hammer, stethoscope, playing baseball or engaging in one-on-one evangelism, youll have the opportunity to reach the lost and brokenhearted.
Sunday / February 2 / 11:25am This meeting is for those signed up, planning to sign up, or those needing more information about 2014 Mission teams. We will have a time of worship and a discussion about cross-cultural ministry as well as information & sign-ups for upcoming fundraisers. Applications and $300 deposits are due on this day. For a list of 2014 Mission trips and more information visit beltway.org/missions.

LIFE GROUPS
10
Is God nudging you to get connected with other believers, to find a small group that shares and encourages you in your spiritual journey? GroupLink is just the event to avoid the awkwardness of just showing up and to find the best group for you. GroupLink is a specific, two hour experience designed to help individuals and/or families connect with a small group. Life Group leaders are present who either want to start a brand new group or simply add to their existing group. Through the course of the evening, time is given to visit at length with these leaders, to discover what their group is like, and to discern whether their group is a great fit. By the end of the event, almost all have found a Life Group that truly excites them. Our next GroupLink event is scheduled for January 12 at 6:30pm in the Worship Center. On designated Sundays, we also have GroupLink Central in the South Foyer of the church available to help specific demographics (e.g. young marrieds, older families, singles, college students, men, women, etc.) connect with a Life Group.
DNA Revolution
Saturday / April 5 Once a semester on a Saturday morning the Life Group Team facilitates a time of strong encouragement, ministry, vision-casting, and skills training to equip our leaders for hosting a Spirit-led, heart-transforming Life Group. As a ministry, we want all our leaders to carry a common vision or DNA that maximizes our effectiveness in fostering genuine community, spiritual growth, and in developing servant leaders.

Foundation Groups consist of 4-6 newly married couples who are led by a married coaching couple for 12 to 15 months through a set curriculum. During this time they will discuss a range of topics: community, Gods view of marriage, communication & conflict, finances, and intimacy. Staff
Kids Club @ the Park staff consist of various high school and university students from the Abilene area, who are also leaders in our community. Each individual staff member contributes their own unique gifts and talents to our many programs that are provided each day after school. With our staff to student ratio at 1:14, our staff can effectively render the environment in which your child will grow, laugh, learn and have fun. Most importantly, however, your child will be loved and cared for. From the moment your child steps off the bus, he/ she will be greeted by name and with a smile. (All staff have undergone criminal background
checks to ensure the safety of each child in our program.) Transportation is provided by the WISD school bus to the church. Call about our monthly dues which are on a sliding scale. We follow the WISD School schedule and are not open during school holidays.
