wealth-producing yoga with Mercury (by being a

lord), therefore, Mars actually supports the wealth
and success indicated by the Kalanidhi Yoga. The
malefic nature of Mars still has to be felt, thus his
success was amidst the dangerous situation of a
full-scale war. Considering the Subha/Asubha
influences, Jupiter has 211 virupas of Subha
influences and Mercury 167, allowing him to easily garner success in Jupiter
dasa, even to the degree of being venerated for a deed he did not even
complete.
