will share 35 years of insight and experience in earth advocacy, water and soil stewardship, organic farming, food systems, sustainable living, sacred space, and community empowerment in November in Topeka, Baldwin, Manhattan, and Council Grove. David is from New York, where he founded Northeast Organic Farming Assoc., its certification program, and many other Yarrow in the Labyrinth initiatives. David is interested in Kansas prairies, and people White Memorial Camp, Council Grove, KS living sustainably on prairies. The last four years, he taught how to sequester carbon, mitigate climate change and grow nutrient-dense foods. Davids university education was first in digital technology & electronics, then emotionally disturbed children. His computer savvy creates and enriches his and other sustainability websites. His www.dyarrow.org website is an illustrated online compilation of much of his work, designed and upgraded over the years while carrying out his long-standing and demanding environmental efforts. Davids odyssey ends in a special Earth Blessing ceremony at an ancient sacred site near Council Grove.

David Yarrow: A Brief Bio

In 1970, David Yarrow crisscrossed North America to look into the human future. He recognized an inevitable collision of civilization with nature, and focused on food, food systems and agriculture as a key to regenerate human beings, society and the land. In 1978, David started Wellspring: Syracuse Center for Self-Healing, where he taught about food, cooking and acupressure. In 1983, David organized the Northeast Organic Farming Assoc. of NY, and its certification program in 1985. Aug. 6, 1992, David Yarrow took a 6000 volt "short circuit to enlightenment." He rebounded back from Heaven m a badly damaged, and surfs the cutting edge of planetary transformation. In 2001, David started an Ancient Forest Survey team. In 2004, he helped start a business selling sea minerals to farmers for soil, crops and livestock. In 2006, David spoke at the World Council of Elders of Ancient Traditions in Jaipur, India on Sacred Geometry and Onondaga Lake as one of America's most holy places. In 2009, he founded Biochar Northeast to advance a natural strategy to sequester carbon, produce renewable biofuels, create sustainable soil fertility, and grow nutrient-dense foods. Along his way, David learned to dowse Earth's subtle energy anatomy, and became a master dowser. The special feature of David's multi-dimensional odyssey is to discover ancient temples where humans held ceremonies to unite heaven and earth. After visits in March 2008 and April 2011, he believes near Council Grove is one such sacred site, and his odyssey ends there. David plans to devote his next decade to guide youth in nature awareness, ecological literacy and earth restoration.
