A lice stared in horror as she saw him fall with the dumb-waiter. He had that soft smile on his face telling her
that everything would be alright. She looked into his soft sapphire blue eyes hoping they would never disappear.
She couldn’t do anything…She just froze from shock as a small tear slid down her cheek.

Don’t go…

Claire gasped covering her mouth. She had just met her own son after 18 years and she was just about to lose him.
She quickly glanced down at Alice’s Death card and her eyes darkened sadly.

A painful experience…

Christopher turned with wide eyes and lunged himself across the floorboards sliding down them smoothly.
“Christian!!!” he yelled grabbing the rope at the last second. Christopher was of course a human and from the
weight of the sturdy dumb-waiter and Christian, was too much for him and ended up being dragged with it.

“Christopher!” Salvador grabbed Christopher ankle before he fell the whole way. “You idiot!” he grunted.

“Christopher, save him!” Claire cried from below.

Christian clasped the side of the dumb-waiter from the sudden impact when his father grabbed the rope. “I’m fine
mother!” Christian told her poking his head out and looking down as she cried.

Christopher’s eyes widened when he saw Claire below at the bottom of the tower. He practically almost cried from
joy. “Claire…” he said happily to himself.

She’s really alive…After all these years…

Salvador tugged on Christopher’s ankle having difficulty.

Damn…Alice was right *sigh*…I am getting old…

“Alice!” he yelled feeling Christopher’s ankles starting to slip out of his hands. “Get Christian on the stairs!” he
grunted.

Christopher used a lot of effort and energy just to swing the dumb-waiter back and forth until it finally reached
the stairs. There on the stairs Alice was standing against the railing holding out her hands for him. “Grab on!” she
said with a bright smile, relieved that he was okay.

Christian reached out to grab her hand but his eyes widened when he saw Alicia coming up from behind her.
“ALICE!!!” he cried as the dumb-waiter swung back away from her.

Alicia grabbed her sister from behind choking her. “There’s no way I’m going to let you two be together!” she
growled angrily.

Alice stepped back until she slammed Alicia’s back against the wall forcing her to let go of Alice. Alice pinned her
to the wall. “Alicia, stop it! We’re sisters damn it!” she cursed.
Alicia glared at her and pushed against Alice’s hands slamming her onto the railing hard. Alice let out a cry as Alicia
tried to push her of the railing; she struggled to stay on especially since the railing was only until her waist.

“CHRISTIAN!” Christopher grunted. “You have to jump!” he ordered as he swung the dumb-waiter in circles around
the tower. Despite the fact that he was wearing leather gloves, his fingers still burned from the rope. “Jump on
the stairs! I can’t hold on any longer!” he yelled.

Christian nodded and waited as the dumb-waiter swayed until he could get close enough to the other side of the
tower.

Sylvia kicked Lilith in the stomach with her red stilettos; sending her flying across the floor to the other wall.
Sylvia scrambled to her feet taking out a ruby dagger from her side; she looked up seeing Salvador struggling to
keep his grip on Christopher’s ankle.

Just one pierce through the heart and the Valoriette family will fall under its own foundation…

She crept up behind Salvador with that devilish grin curling up her face. She knew a ruby dagger could kill any
immortal. It was 100% unlike holy water which had only 75% so there was a possibility the vamp would die. With a
ruby dagger it was guaranteed the vamp would die no matter how strong he/she was. A ruby dagger only had one
use though, so once you stab the vamp it would instantly break.

Lilith woke up having a huge migraine from the impact; she shook her head furiously trying to get her head
together. She looked up even though she was still partly dazed and saw Sylvia creeping up behind Salvador.
“SALVADOR!!! BEHIND YOU!!” she cried.

Salvador turned his head quickly and gasped when he saw Sylvia already holding the dagger high above her head
with two hands. Her eyes shined bright red, knowing that she would finally get her revenge. She drove the dagger
down his back, crimson blood splattered on the ground and onto their clothes as he groaned in pain.

Christopher gasped looking back at Salvador. “No!!!” he yelled sadly, seeing his old friend wounded.

From instinct Christian jumped on the other side of the tower landing on the stairs hard after hearing his father’s
cry, he looked back up at him curiously.

What happened…?

Alice wrestled against Alicia levels above Christian. She managed to shove Alicia against the wall and make a run
for it up the stairs.

“GET BACK HERE YOU BITCH!!” she roared chasing after her.

Christopher let go of the dumb-waiter and it crashed into the walls of the tower narrowly missing Alice. Alice
stopped in her steps breathless knowing that could’ve been her.

Alicia grabbed her from behind choking her again; Alice thought quickly and pushed Alicia back slamming her back
against the railing of the wooden stairs. Alicia lost her balance from the rumbling of the tower and fell off carrying
Alice with her.

“NO!!!” Allianna screamed from below covering her mouth as her tears began to flow.
At the last second Alicia wrapped her legs around the bars of the railing and Alice grabbed onto Alicia’s shoulders
firmly holding on tightly. Alice looked below her seeing the remaining billion steps from her estimation…Obviously
she was in the right mind not to count how many flights of steps she was about to fall down from.

OH SHIT…

“Oh looky here…” Alicia chuckled looking down at Alice from the corner of her eye. “Who’s depending on who
now?” she said with a wide grin.

Alice glared at her wrapping her arms around her neck getting a more firm grip. “YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY!!?
We’re in a deadly situation you psychotic whore!” she growled into her ear.

Alicia couldn’t help but giggle. “You don’t understand Alice…I have all the cards” she chuckled manically. “If I let
go, you’ll die” she grinned at the thought of her sister dying by her hand. “You don’t even have the energy to bring
your wings out do you?” she asked rhetorically.

Alice stayed silent, knowing that she was right. “But you’ll die too you know” she reminded her.

Alicia shrugged. “There’s a 50, 50 chance that I’ll live…” she answered smugly.

“And you’re willing to take that chance!?” she said, almost afraid to even ask.

“Yeah” Alicia said simply looking up at the bars seeing it starting to give in by the sounds of the creaks.

“Well Alicia you need more help then I thought…” Alice said trying not to chuckle. “After all these years I thought
sending you to a Looney Bin would help but now I think they won’t be able to help you either” She chuckled
remembering that Christina was sent there as well.

Alicia grabbed Alice’s hands trying to force her to let go of her neck. “Just die you bitch!!!” she screamed

Alice grunted her arms flailed to the side letting go of Alicia’s shoulders. “Shit!!!” she cursed.

Alicia grinned grabbing a bundle of Alice’s long silky black hair and holding it firmly in her hand as she reached
down her thigh for a dagger. Alice screamed feeling the intense pain from the roots of her hair.

“Alice!!!” Christian cried from two levels above them. Christian hurried down the steps towards Alice but Honey
leaped down on the steps before him blocking his way. He had a sadistic look on his face making him look even
more maniacal with the blood dripping from his head which was probably from the kick earlier.

“Don’t interfere!!” he roared tackling Christian onto the stairs.

Alicia finally grabbed her dagger and began slicing off most of the length of Alice’s hair until she began falling
down the center of the tower. Alice felt the wind blowing in her face as she fell down face first. It was more
horrifying than gliding down Big Ben for her wings wouldn’t save her now.

Christopher stared in horror seeing Alice sky-diving down the tower. With one last look at his friend he kicked off
down the tower carrying a rope in one hand that Salvador was quickly tying to a wooden pillar. Lilith was finally
able to hold Sylvia in place with her hands behind her back. Salvador was finally able to tie the rope but began
coughing blood shortly afterwards. He knew he had to accept the truth…He was going to die…

------------------------------------------
Christopher quickly swung as the rope reached its full length and caught Alice’s hand at the last moment before
she was about to be impaled by the remains of the dumb-waiter below. Alice smiled seeing that Christopher had
helped her escape death. “Christopher, thank you!” she said happily.

He grinned mischievously. “It seems I still got the moves…” he said proudly. He didn’t notice the rope swung back
in another direction.

Alice’s eyes widened when she saw the wall coming. “CHRISTOPHER LOOK OUT!!” she said letting go and landing
on the stairs leaving him on the rope.

“Wha-!?” Before he could finish his sentence his face slammed straight into the old boards of the tower. “Oh…
That…” he muttered, his voice muffled from the boards. He fell back on the stairs beside Alice.

“Are you still alive old man?” she asked with a chuckle.

“Yeah…It’s just my back” he said in pain. “Just leave me here for a while…” he sighed lying on the wall.

Alice rolled her eyes.

Old people…

-------------------------

Sylvia elbowed Lilith in the stomach and punched her knocking her on the ground. Lilith shook her head trying to
get her mind together. Human taking hits from a vampire didn’t sound fair and really did knock the sense out of
some people. Sylvia grinned pulling out a sword and slamming it against the wall behind her cutting a rope.

“LILITH!!” Salvador called in a warning tone seeing a large piece of lumber swing down from the ceiling heading
towards Lilith. All Salvador could do was watch since his wound wouldn’t allow him to move.

Lilith gasped, feeling the pointed tip of the lumber impale her right through the stomach and carry until it
smashed into the other wall. Lilith screamed in pain gripping the sides of the lumber tightly. She looked down
below her seeing her blood stream down the wall forming a small puddle of blood.

---------------------------

Christian kicked Honey in the chest sending him rolling down the steps and he looked up hearing the scream.
“Lilith?” he guessed knowing Alice was safe on the lower levels. He grabbed onto the railing regaining his balance
from the rumbling of the tower.

Damn it, the tower’s going to collapse soon!

He looked up knowing Salvador was still up there with Lilith and Sylvia. Honey crept up behind him and held the
sides of Christian’s head firmly as his hands began to glow bright red. “It’s about time we end your relationship
with that wretched girl…” he whispered harshly in his ear.

“Get off!!” Christian growled feeling his arms weakening as he struggled to get him away. “Wh-What…?” he asked
clueless, as he fell unconscious on the stairs.

Honey grinned knowing that his spell had worked.

I will be the one to watch as the bonds between you and Alice shatter…
------------------------------

Well Lil’ this is the end for us…

Lilith slowly reached down at her waist and threw it in Salvador’s hands. “Just…Kill her…” she growled clutching
her wound.

Sylvia grinned taking out her sword as well. “How do you expect to kill me Salvador?” she asked rhetorically.

He glared at her. “In any way I can, this is for a friend” he said holding the sword unsteadily before him.

“More like a traitor who betrayed you” she corrected sliding her finger down her sword. He plunged his sword at
her and she quickly blocked pushing against his sword with much force. “You know you won’t win with that
wound…” she grinned pushing harder down on his sword.

He glared at her and kneed her in the stomach hard knocking her off balance. Salvador tried to balance as well
feeling the floor boards beginning to give in. He hopped on another section of the floor a split second before the
boards gave in and fell down the high tower. He looked back at Sylvia who seemed to be enjoying the feeling of
danger and time pressure. “It seems we both don’t have much time…” she stated with a kind smile.

Salvador nodded looking down at the floor seeing it crack.

We’re out of time…

Sylvia swung her sword in the air about to do a vertical slash but Salvador caught the blade in one hand enduring
the pain, he plunged his sword in her open spot…Her chest… Sylvia gasped feeling the blade pierce her heart that
began to beat for the first time in many years. She fell on her knees gasping for air as she clutched her wound.
“You bastard!” she cursed trying to get up, but she was losing too much blood.

“Father!! Let’s get out of here!! It’s coming down!” Alice screamed from the lower levels. She had already carried
Christopher down and left him in the care of Claire for now.

Salvador smiled down at her with tears in his eyes for the first time in so long. “I’ll send your love to your mother
child!” he called back falling on his knees.

Alice’s eyes widened.

What does he mean…? No he couldn’t…

Red wings sprouted from her back and she soared quickly up from the center of the tower heading for the top. She
descended slowly beside her father that was at last, resting in peace…

“Father…” she cried covering her mouth keeping in her sobs.

“A-Alice…”

Alice turned to see Lilith pinned to the wall with a log of lumber impaled through her. “Lilith y-you’re…” Alice
gasped; she couldn’t imagine how much pain Lilith would be feeling.

“Get Christian…Out of here…” she managed to say trying her best to stay alive as long as possible to deliver her
last words.

“What about-”
“Forget about me!” she yelled at her. “I’m done for…Just promise me you’ll get Christian out…” she told her.

Alice nodded wiping the tears from her face. “I promise…” she whispered. A small smile was left on Lilith’s face as
she fell in an eternal slumber.

She knelt beside her father giving him one last kiss on the forehead before leaving.

I forgive you father…I’ve always forgiven you…

Alice found Christian lying unconscious on the stairs and she quickly picked him up, throwing one arm over her
shoulder and floating down to the bottom of the tower where she ran out at the last minute. The tower collapsed
with the house after they made it out…Crushing Salvador and the others…

Allianna ran to Alice holding her in her arms. “Thank God you’re alive!” she sighed in relief.

Alice smiled catching that line.

We’ve been thanking God a lot lately, haven’t we?

“Can you take Christian back to the manor?” Alice asked kindly handing Christian to Allianna.

Allianna nodded carrying Christian to a van that was left behind by the other SWAT team. She blushed once she
walked passed Gabriel who was grinning at her. Alice frowned, bumping Gabriel in the shoulder. “Don’t try
anything just yet…” she growled at him.

------------------------------

Within what was left of the tower a pale hand raised from the rubble. It clawed at the ground pulling its body up
from the old boards. Out from the rubble, Alicia climbed out, injured heavily from the accident. “That orphan
bitch…” she cursed clutching her head that was bleeding heavily. It slowly regenerated as she looked out in the
distance seeing Alice in the others still alive. She growled angrily and reached into her pocket for a single silver
whistle. She blew into the whistle hard and it chimed through-out the area.

“What was that?” Alice asked looking around cautiously.

Suddenly the ground beneath Allianna began to shake. “Wh-Wha-!?!?” suddenly the ground beneath her flew open
as if it was a trap door, flinging her to the side with Christian who was still unconscious.

“Allianna!!” Gabriel called looking down into the dark hole. To his horror two golden eyes appeared and a
werewolf jumped out from the hole toward him.

Alice knocked him them both out of the way and into the ground. “Allianna protect Christian!!” she demanded
getting up and reaching down her side for her sword. To her dismay it wasn’t there…

Damn it, it must’ve fallen when we were in the tower!!!

The werewolf landed on all fours, its 2 inch claws digging into the dirt. It roared threateningly at her, analyzing
her seeing how much of a threat she was. It was huge with grey fur that stuck up like a porcupine’s quills.

Alice backed away slowly. “Okay…Calm down…” she said slowly as if she was only talking to a German-Shepherd.

Oh shit…BE A GOOD DOGGIE AND JUST EAT GABRIEL!!!!

It growled at her angrily offended that she was talking to him like a puppy. Gabriel got up shaking the grass of his
brown hair. “Alice, I don’t think he likes it when you talk to him that way…” he said pointing out the obvious.

Alice’s eye began twitching from anger.

DON’T REMIND HIM!!!!! YOU IDIOT!! WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON!!??!

Allianna got up slowly and reached over to get Christian.

I have to get him in the van…

Allianna threw Christian over her shoulder and ran to the van throwing Christian inside where Claire and
Christopher were.

The werewolf roared and jumped over Alice heading for Allianna. Allianna slammed the door to the van closed but
when she turned around she got a surprise. Gabriel tackled the werewolf to the ground at the last moment but
they rolled off the cliff and down to the river below. “GABRIEL!!!” she screamed.

Allianna ran to the edge seeing that they were actually so high up the cliff…and there was no way anyone could
survive a fall like that. All she heard was a soft splash from the bottom of the cliff. Allianna fell on her knees as
silent tears slid down her face.

“Allianna…” Alice said quietly, almost afraid of what her sister might say. “A-Allianna…We’ll get him back…” she
told her.

Allianna clutched her fists ath her side and turned to her. “No we can’t! Because of you and that stupid human!!”
she cried.

Alice’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. “Wha-?”

Within a split second Allianna was up and slapped Alice across the face. “Shut up!!! It’s always about you! I now
understand why Alicia envied you so much!! You always thought about what you wanted and what you needed!!!”

Claire gasped and ran out of the van stopping Allianna before she attacked her own sister. “Allianna, get a hold of
yourself!!!” she yelled at her angrily.

Alice held her cheek gently as it burned red from the strength of that slap. Alice was speechless she had no idea
what to say. Allianna wouldn’t listen to her…

Why is she so angry at me…? I-I didn’t cause this did I?

--------------------------------

Alice walked into Christian’s room and sat on his bed beside him. “I love you…” she whispered gently in his ear. A
small tear fell down her cheek as she said so.

No matter what anyone says…

I’ll always love you…

I promise…
Christian’s eyes slowly opened and he looked around at the environment.

Where am I?

He looked up at Alice and his heart suddenly skipped a beat. “V-vampire…!?” he gasped.

Alice hugged him lovingly. “You’re awake” she said happily kissing him on the forehead.

“OH SHIT!!!” Christian pushed her away causing her to fall back on the floor. He jumped out of bed grabbing the
gun at his nightstand. He held it tightly in his hands as he pointed at her.

Alice sighed blowing her now short hair out of her face. She glared at him getting up. “Christian, I can regenerate
my wounds but that doesn’t mean my ass doesn’t hurt every time I fall!” she growled at him angrily.

“Wh-Who are you!?!?” he asked her, shaking.

Alice’s eyes widened.

What…?

“How did you get in here!?!?” he demanded loading his gun.

“Y-You don’t…remember me…?” she asked almost afraid of what his answer would be.

He pulled the trigger but she quickly jumped to the side. “Christian!! ARE YOU BLIND!?!! It’s me, Alice!!!”

The door flew open and in came Claire and Christopher. “Christian!! What are you doing!?” Christopher asked.

Christian gasped seeing that Claire was a vampire too. He pulled the trigger narrowly missing Claire’s shoulder.
Christopher quickly pinned Christian against the other wall. “What on Earth is wrong with you!?!? She’s your
mother!!!” he yelled.

Christian shook his head. He didn’t understand, what was happening!?

Claire ran out of the room dragging Alice with her. “Let’s go dear!” she said slamming the door behind them.

----------------------------

Alice waited outside Christian’s room silently looking down at her hands that had cuts all over them. Claire leaned
on the wall beside Alice. “Who are you more worried about dear? Your sister or Christian?” she asked curiously.

Alice shrugged shaking her head. “I guess its Allianna…She seemed so angry…” she said sadly.

Claire rubbed her should comfortingly. “Don’t worry things will fix themselves in due time” she quoted happily.

Alice nodded. “How is Christopher?”

Claire rolled her eyes. “The usual, he just strained a few limbs but I guess that’s the effect of aging…” she trailed
off.

“Aging…” Alice repeated. “Can you take it if Christopher died at old age?” she asked Claire.
Claire sighed looking up at the ceiling. “I worry about that every day…” she said sadly. “But all I want to do is
treasure what I have now, you know” she smiled. “I’ll certainly break but…I know someday I’ll be able to smile
again” she said happily.

Alice smiled knowing that Claire knew how to live through any trial. “Allianna’s taking father’s place…” Alice
remembered. The thought of Allianna being the new boss and her hating Alice didn’t sound too good.

Claire chuckled. “Don’t worry dear…I doubt your sister will pick on you” she smiled naively.

-----------------------

Alice walked into Salvador’s room which was now Allianna’s room. “Craven said you called for me” Alice said
quietly.

Allianna was signing papers on the desk and didn’t dare look at Alice in the eyes. “Yes, I did” she said grabbing a
new pile of papers. “I got news that Christian lost his memory of you…” she said signing a document.

Alice looked at her suspiciously. “And what makes you so interested?” Alice asked.

Allianna dropped her pen and locked her fingers in front of her finally looking in Alice’s eyes. “I saw that you and
him can’t get married anymore” she said simply.

Alice slammed her hands against Allianna’s desk from frustration. “We can fix this! I will marry him!” she growled.

Allianna kept her face calm and emotionless like stone. “I see…Well, you have been born to privilege and with that
comes certain obligations…” she said looking through a pile for a certain document.

“And your point is!?!?!”

“Your loyalty is to your family…” she stated pulling out a document from the pile. “And your family needs you to
make a sacrifice” she said handing her a document. “The werewolf coven, the Sterling’s has declared war and we
have lost our neighboring families for they do not like ‘hybrids’ …” she emphasized rudely.

Alice frowned as she read the document and ripped it instantly into small pieces. “AN ARRANGED MARRIAGE TO A
STERLING!?!?” she exclaimed in disbelief. “I object!!!”

Allianna rolled her eyes. “You’re so selfish…” she sighed. “The son of Mr. Sterling insisted that he marry you” she
stated. “Would you risk your relatives’ lives for a human boy who doesn’t even remember your name!!?” she
exclaimed loudly beginning to lose her temper.

Alice clutched her fists at her sides, she was begin selfish…She needed to do something for her family for once…
Everyone has to make some sacrifices sometimes…And this time, Christian won’t even know she existed… “W-Who
am I going to marry…?” she asked quietly looking down at her feet.

Christian…I’m so sorry…But I love my family as well…

“That’s the spirit” Allianna smiled. “Don’t worry you’ll meet him tomorrow” she said returning back to her work.
“You can go now” she ordered.

Alice left the room breathless.

An arranged marriage…AGAIN!?!?!
