Course Syllabus
In this course, students will understand the components of an online community and how they can grow theirs to increase customer happiness and achieve company goals. Learn how to set up your community for success, what you should be measuring, and how you can use social media to solve company-wide challenges. HootSuites VP of Community, Dave Olson, takes students on an adventure through the various components of creating and maintaining a thriving community. Students will learn from Daves personal experience after years on the job as HootSuites Director of Marketing, where he crafted programs and initiatives to spark HootSuites rapid international growth. This course is comprised of engaging video modules, useful worksheets, and an online exam. Students are also encouraged to follow along and tweet their progress via the course hashtag, #SCMD140. There are four lesson modules, totaling 19 videos.
