Explain the significance of waveform symmetry in Fourier analysis. Explain how Fourier transform is developed from Fourier series. Find the Fourier transform of Cos(0t) and draw the spectral density function. There are several possible ways of estimating an essential bandwidth of non-band limited signal. For a low pass signal, for example, the essential bandwidth may be chosen as a frequency where the amplitude spectrum of the signal decays to k percent of its peak value. The choice of k depends on the nature of application. Choosing k = 5, determine the essential bandwidth of g(t) = exp(-at) u(t). Explain the sampling theorem for band limited signals with analytical proof. A signal g(t) = Cos(200t) + 2Cos(280t) is sampled at a sampling frequency of 300 Hz.
