Although the basic theme of The Science of Deliberate Creation holds to a steady, dependable perspective, it evolves continually as attendees of our workshops bring their evolved questions, comments and relevant thoughts. With the exception of the Abraham-Hicks books, nearly everything that you will experience in any of our publications will have been excerpted and edited from a recorded, and later transcribed, open group Abraham-Hicks interactive workshop. You Have Within You A Trusty Vibrational Meter!

ABRAHAM: Are you understanding that you are Creator? Are you understanding that in every moment whether you know it or not you are offering a vibrational output and that by Law of Attraction the Universe is responding to that output? Are you coming to understand that what Deliberate Creation is is deliberately offering that vibrational signal? Are you coming to understand the role that your emotions play in your understanding of your signal? Oh, it is a wonderful thing when you begin to understand that how you are feeling or the emotion that you are projecting is an emotional/vibrational indicator of whatever your output is. Do you know that you are physically focused extensions of Nonphysical Energy? Are you understanding that you are eternal beings that are now partially focused through this perspective, or perception, that you know as you? Are you coming to understand that there is a fuller, broader, Nonphysical you that flows to you and through you when you allow it? As you stand here in these physical bodies, you are literally on the leading edge of thought. The furthest extensions of the powerful Nonphysical Energy Stream. And as you stand here in the perspective, or personality, that you know as you, understanding your relationship with this Stream some call it God Force, some call it Creative Life Force, some call it Energy, Creative Energy, it doesnt matter what label you give it but as you stand here on the furthest edge of this Energy Stream experiencing the contrast of your time and place, out of that contrast is born desire that continues as a summoning or a perpetuating of the Stream through you into this leading edge environment. Now, as this Stream flows to you this Energy Stream that creates worlds there are two things that you are wanting to be aware of relative to the Stream, and as you understand these two things only these two things relative to this God Force, or Life Stream, that flows forth to you, you will forevermore understand how it is that you can be a Deliberate Creator. You continue to be a Creator because you cant turn your vibrating mechanism off, but when you understand these two things, relative to this Stream you will be a Deliberate Creator: First, How much of this Stream am I, in my now perspective, summoning through the power of my desire? How much do I want? How much do I desire? What is my desire? Thats the first thing. The second thing is, and the only other thing, Of that Stream, which my desire is summoning, how much of it am I allowing to flow through? And everything that you are living and everything that you are feel-

ing and everything that everybody you know is living or feeling is all about those two aspects of that Stream. You are vibrational beings interpreting vibration on many levels. For the most part, you are doing it unconsciously. So we want you to do this part of it consciously. Heres what we mean: What you see with your eyes is an interpretation of vibration. Thats what sight is. What you smell with your nose, what you hear with your ears, what you taste with your tongue or feel with your skin, these are all interpretations of vibration. But you say, Abraham, I didnt have to learn how to do that. I was born seeing. I was born smelling. Smelling, not smelly. Smelling. I was born smelling. I was born feeling. I was born with these physical sensors. I didnt have to learn them. And we say, you were born with your emotional sensors, too. Your Trusty Vibrational Meter Imagine, with us, a Vibrational Meter. And we are going to stop at four places on this meter, even though there are infinite stops, in order to give you an understanding of what we mean by the two things, that it is important that you know of, relative to your Life Force: Feel with us, for a moment, the feeling of passion. Relative to the first subject, it means much desire, and relative to the second part, it means much allowing. When you feel passion or enthusiasm or invigoration those high, good, fast feeling feelings what it means is, in this moment, your desire is strong, so you are summoning lots of Nonphysical Energy. Or better said, your desire is summoning through you, lots of Energy, and, in this moment, you have no resistance or no contradictory vibration that is hindering the flow. That elation or passion means youre summoning Energy and youre letting it flow. Now, feel with us

the feeling of peacefulness or contentment. Not much desire, right now, but no resistance. Can you feel that? Now, feel with us the feeling of frustration mild negative emotion. That indicates some desire, now, and some resistance. Resistance is that contradictory thought. And now, feel with us the feeling of strong negative emotion anger or depression or strong frustration... That means strong desire and strong resistance. So, as you begin to pay attention to the way that you are feeling, you can know, in every moment, these two important things: I, as a physical extension of Nonphysical Energy, who is a Creator out here on the leading edge of thought, am exposing myself to contrast. For what reason? What is the Value of Contrast in your Physical Environment? Contrast is what gives birth to decision or desire. When you say, desire or when you say, asking, or when you say, decision, it is all the same thing. The contrast brings you to that focused desire or to that focused summoning. We want you to focus with us, for just a little bit, and get a sense of this very important contrast. We dont mean conflict. We dont mean agony and defeat and ecstasy and exultation, although agony and defeat and ecstasy and exultation certainly is a contrasting experience. We mean difference. Ask and It is Given We want you to feel the power that the contrast provides you, because in contrast, it causes you, even without your consciously knowing it, to focus a desire or a decision and that is the true meaning of asking. Have you heard the expression, Ask, and it is given? You said, trustingly and knowingly,

...I loved the Sara & Seth book! It was like a private session with Abraham. It spoke to me so directly and frequently. The points of the teaching are so clear and applicable. I woke up at 5AM and didnt feel like going back to sleep, so I picked up the copy of Sara and Seth, (I bought yesterday at my Science Of Mind Church Bookstore) and read it straight through. The forword from Jerry where he said he laughed out loud and had goosebumps and teared up, was also true for me. It is delightful and fun and funny and joyous, and it makes me want to look around and say, How much fun can I have today? and What could I learn that would excite me? The delightful examples of pivots, setting your tone, focus wheels, cork floating and using what you dont want to determine what you do want,.is the best summation I have seen, so far, of what Abe teaches and how to use it. Its 4:30 in the morning, Esther is beautifully asleep as I sit on our balcony experiencing the rolling breakers, reflecting the pure spirit of Hawaii along the Kaanapali beach. It was during my first visit here, over 20 years ago, that a powerful desire welled up within me: to enable everyone that would know me to discover their own way to taste this delightful spiritual and sensual experience. Esther and I have returned to this same suite in this same hotel many times, and although these annual visits are usually for the purpose of conducting workshops, these past few days, here, have been used, primarily to prepare for the introduction of this remarkable new book Sara & Seth (Solomons Fine Featherless Friends). It can be extremely refreshing, in this fast paced, highly scheduled culture, to tap back into childhood memories, back into times less complex, back to when our perceptions were clearer. ...It was a warm and sunny afternoon in Saras mountain town. In fact, Sara had decided, earlier that day, that this was the prettiest day, so far, this year. How the metal railing atop the Main Street Bridge had been bent way out over the river when a local farmer had lost control of his truck while trying to avoid running over Harvey, a friendly and always roving dog, who weaved his way in and out of traffic every day, always expecting everyone to stop or swerve to make way for him. And so far, it had always worked out that way. Sara was relieved that no one was hurt that day, not even Harvey, who many thought deserved to get run over. Ive heard of cats having nine lives, Sara smiled to herself, as she remembered that day, but not dogs. Sara lay there lazily watching the river flow by beneath her. She breathed deeply and enjoyed the wonderful smell of this delicious river. She could not remember ever feeling better. I love my life! Sara said right out loud, feeling a fresh exuberance for life and an eagerness for more. What A Joy

...My wife and I and our best friends just attended the Phoenix workshop our first and I had to write and tell you what a wonderfully rewarding, fun and enlightening time we all had. We are still pumped, and still having delayed effect awakenings on various subjects, and we were doing extremely well with this stuff before we came! As neat as the tapes have been, being there was way better. There was much more dealt with through energy, than the verbal dialogue would lead one to believe. We felt like we were individually, and very personally addressed, via non-physical energy, to help us in the areas we wanted help with, and questions were answered that we didnt even verbalize. Visionary or Actionary?
The visionaries are the reason for the massive employment in your world and the high economy. You dont meet them every day because theyre not out there in the trenches. They usually dont have their sleeves rolled up, and they are usually not mixing among the others. Theyre meeting on islands. They are living the good life. They are connected to Energy Stream. They are visionaries. They are the reason that your technology is where it is. Are they scientists? No. Are they the mathematicians? No. Are they the bricklayers? No. All of those magnificent beings are an important part of the cocreative mix. Every one of them is as important as any other, even as important as the visionary himself. But the visionary is the one who holds the hope or the idea and believes it so much that he holds a guiding light that Law of Attraction can actualize around. Is it possible to be the visionary and the actionary of your own life? Not only possible its the way most of you intended it to be. Its the best of all worlds. What can be more exhilarating than to find a dream from the contrast, to fixate on the dream and let it give you pleasure as it grows and then to watch Law of Attraction bring it into manifestation while you help with your action? Does it get any better than that? You didnt think so as you made the decision to come forth into these physical bodies. You said, This is the best time in all eternity for a Creator to Create. Harmony or Cacophony?
You have more harmony points with every person on the planet than you have disharmony points because there is much more of you that is in harmony with your Core than you realize or that most of you allow. The closer you come to being in harmony with your Source Energy, the more in harmony you are with each other. When you think about other people and what they think of you, do you understand that what they think of you has very little to do with what you are? It has mostly to do with the habits of thought that they have developed. It has more to do with them as thinkers than it does with you as the subject of their thought. If nothing is more important to you than that you feel good, you can form a fantasy about someone who is in your life and they will begin to modify to meet your fantasy because Law of Attraction is a very powerful thing. When you decide that you want to feel good, and you reach for the vibration that feels good to you and you establish that as your Tone either the people around you will be uplifted to join you in that vibration or, if their vibration is already very well chosen otherwise they will clatter right out of your experience. But what happens to most of you is, while they are clattering out of your experience, you notice theyre clattering. You begin to clatter too, and then they clatter right back into your experience and you clatter together miserably and continually. vibration. High, because theres not resistance. Fast, because theres no resistance. Pure, because theres no resistance. So, here is your cork bobbing up here in this pure, positive Energy place. Now take hold of your cork and hold it under the water. Thats what negative emotion is. The good news is, in the moment that you turn your attention away from whatever it is that is causing you to vibrate here, whatever it is that you have included in your vibration thats holding you in that lower, slower vibration in the moment that you turn your attention from it your cork bobs right back to the surface. Most of you have heard us offer that analogy over and over and over again, and yet most of you still believe that you have to somehow pull your way back up the vibrational ladder. It is not a matter of deserving the higher vibration. You dont earn the higher vibration. Thats natural to you. You just have to ignore whatever it is that has brought you to the lower vibration and your vibration will go right back where it belongs. When you sleep at night, thats what happens. When you meditate, thats what happens. When you appreciate, thats what happens. When you are basking, thats what happens. Anytime that you are not looking at something that is vibrating lower and slower, and therefore including it in your vibration, your cork floats back up where it belongs. So, your work isnt nearly as complicated as you think. Passionate Observers The reason many of you have felt great complication in your physical experience is because you have become such passionate observers, and as you observe, whatever you are observing dictates your vibration. You are, for the most part, vibrational reactionaries. Whatever you are observing is vibrating. You observe it. As you observe it, you include it, and then you

vibrate there, and then you say, That is a very bad thing. That thing has made me feel very bad. That thing should go away. We should have a law. We should do something to separate that from me, because as I observe it, I dont feel very good. And what we are wanting you to realize is, its not about needing to deal with all those things. As observers, thats your conclusion. You say, Since I havent learned to flow Energy, and I have no clue about the Energy Im flowing, all Im doing is running around and observing, and when I observe good things, I feel good and good things come to me, but when I observe bad things, I feel bad and bad things come to me. So we need to, as a people, get rid of all bad things. And if we could just get rid of all bad things, then wed have peace on Earth. Not passion on Earth. Peace on Earth. We would have sameness. We would have absence of desire. We would have ending of beingness. If we could eliminate contrast, then we would eliminate choice, and if we could eliminate choice, then we would eliminate asking. If we could eliminate asking, we would eliminate summoning of Source, we would eliminate leading edge thought and we would eliminate eternity. It is the contrast that puts the eternalness in eternity. It is the contrast that you think you dont want, that you really do want. You dont want to get rid of contrast. You want to learn to feel what youre giving your attention to and be more deliberate in your choice of vibration. It may make it sound more complicated than it really is when you call it a science. The Science of Deliberate Creation. But the reason that we have encouraged the terminology of science is because it is never-ending. There is always more to discover as you apply these very basic and always eternal, ever consistent rules, or laws, to your ever-changing experience.

It is the best of all worlds to be here in these physical bodies, focused in this time of higher contrast than ever before. Which means, more people are asking than ever before, which means, more Energy is flowing than ever before. As Deliberate Creators, and as teachers of that, this is your heyday. One More Time: Through your vibration, you communicate with All-That-Is. Everything in the Universe has a vibrational basis, and it is through your vibrational offering and by the powerful Law of Attraction that you come together. Are you wanting to deliberately offer your own Vibrational Tone? When you are remembering, you are offering it. When you are imagining, you are offering it. When you are observing, you are offering it. This vibrational offering sort of like a radio signal is projecting from you at all times that you have conscious awareness. You are always projecting your signal and the Universe is always responding to it. Setting Your Tone It is always true that what you think and, therefore, what you feel, and what you are getting back in terms of manifestation are always a vibrational match and you are wanting to begin to deliberately offer your vibration. We call it setting your own Tone. Many of you who are students of, and teachers of, Deliberate Creation are coming to this strong desire of projecting your own deliberate Vibrational Tone. And what that really means its a rather simple transition for most of you it means that you must deliberately make the decision that you will offer your vibration by deliberate intent rather than by default. All things come to you all things come to you all things come to you in response to your vibrational offering. And so, we think it would be a good idea to pay attention to what you are offering,

vibrationally, but we also think it is a good idea to evaluate the content of what is manifesting in order to understand more clearly what your offering has been. Dont be guarded or protective or worried that you might offer a vibration that might net you some result that you dont want because if that were to happen, you would now stand in a new place with a clearer idea of what you desire. And you can now offer the clearer Tone that matches what you are now wanting. There is no danger for you. Buffer of Time You live in this time/space reality where there is a glorious buffer of time between the offering of your vibration and the yielding of the manifestation. And even if you are not aware of what you have set in motion, and what you are in the process of creating, even if you are oblivious to what you are flowing and you are oblivious to what is coming to you until it absolutely gets there still, it does not matter. When you are living something that you do not want, out of that contrasting experience comes a very clear, loud projection of desire from you and that new desire then begins a whole other range of attraction. Never Done or Wrong You never get it done. Everything that you focus upon and everything that manifests leaves you in another place to focus for a continual manifestation. You will never be in place where you will say, There, now, my vibrational offering is complete. You are eternal beings. You will always be attracting unto the perspective that is you. You cannot get it wrong. With each moment of awareness of that which you have created, is also a vibrational offering that is now attracting unto you, still. Wherever you stand now is wide open to any kind of change that you might desire.

Assisting With Addictions QUESTION: I am a counselor and I work with a number of people who are seeking assistance or release from a variety of kinds of addictions: drugs, gambling, food, alcohol. Im wanting to be of the greatest assistance I can be to them, and Id like your assistance. ABRAHAM: Well, the thing about all of those addictions is that there is another hunger that is deeper, that is beyond the cellular hunger for the substance. Each of you, as you come forth into these bodies, are full of this Nonphysical Energy Stream that created you and that sustains you. You are spirit embodied in this flesh, blood, bone apparatus, but then, as you bang around for a while and you see disapproval in the eyes of so many, and you, every day, pick up something else that you push against little by little you become familiar with disallowing the Energy Stream. All feel the diminishment, but some feel it more than others. Those who come forth with the intense decision that they will stay connected to the Stream, those who have come forth with very strong determination to express what they know about this Energy Stream they suffer greatly when they choose vibrations that disallow it fully. But almost nobody is talking about vibration. It would be a rare alcoholics meeting or drug counseling session where anyone would say to the one across the table, Well, you know, youre holding thoughts that are keeping you vibrationally separated from who you really are. And yet, that is what is at the heart of it. And so, that void that they are feeling which is the void of joy, the void of clarity, the void of Energy, the void of life, that is the void they are trying to fill by buying one more thing and bringing it home or by utilizing a substance that distracts them, in this moment, from the things that cause them to push against. When you utilize a drug or alcohol, your cork floats, in the beginning, because just like hypnosis or meditation you are distracted from whatever thought that is holding you in the slower vibration. And so, when youre distracted from what is holding you there your vibration raises. Thats why they call it a high. This is the first thing that, as a counselor, you must accept so that you can convey it, vibrationally, even if you dont do it in words: What they are addicted to is feeling better. What they are addicted to is feeling better. What they are addicted to is the higher vibration. And, bless their hearts, theyve been banging around until they found some way that they could facilitate that for themselves. And then you say, No. This is ultimately bad for you. It makes you do bad things. And so, we will take this method that you have found that is the only method that you have been able to find for getting yourself into a higher vibration were going to take that away from you because it isnt good for you. Were going to label you and condemn you and scorn you. Much of the population is perfectly willing to be miserable, but some of you are less willing to be miserable. We Encourage Connection Were not encouraging addiction. We are encouraging connection. But sometimes it helps if you can convey to them why they have had those impulses. And some of them are ready to hear that from you, and it makes perfect sense to them, and some of them are not. We would rather see someone with feeling of relief. We would not take their substance from them until we had given them an alternative bridge to connection. But so many people are pushing so hard against the addiction itself, because they dont understand it, that those words would not be well received by them. They think that the first thing weve got to do is get it away from them. If the users were to withdraw the addictive substance from their system, after about three days, the cells would

stop calling, and the physical craving would subside, temporarily. But the reason that they went there to begin with has not been tended to. And so, almost as soon as they turn around, something is going to remind them of something thats going to take them back into that lower vibration and then they are going to long for the feeling of relief that the substance gave them. Three Days From Freedom Any physical addiction it doesnt matter how long theyve been taking it or how full of it their body is any addiction, would, between three and thirty days, be completely cleared from the system. Usually closer to three days than thirty days. But it is the emotional craving that must be tended to. What you have to say to a person, and help them to understand, is, You are perfectly all right as you are, and its nobodys business what youve chosen. But thats not the way most of the programs go. Most of the programs say, You must admit what a rat fink you are. We have a step that says youve got to go to all of those people that you have wronged and youve got to open your heart and youve got to admit how unworthy and rotten you are. It was that feeling that drove them to drink to begin with, so now, what youre saying to them is, Were going to take the substance away that gives you any relief, and were going to poke a poker in your ribs until you want it again. Were going to torture you back into the very reason that you drank to begin with but were not going to let you drink. And they say, Okay. Then Ill jump off a bridge. Or they will replace it with something else that is equally condemned, and probably illegal, which brings all sorts of other worrisome thoughts. We Would Soothe Them What would we do if we were standing in your physical shoes whether we were a counselor or a friend or even a stranger? One who is connected to the Stream is more powerful than millions who are not. If we had the blessed opportunity of having someone like that in our gaze, we would say, I wouldnt worry about it. We would do everything thats in our power to soothe to soothe the void. We would appreciate, we would praise, we would point out positive aspects, we would show them how to pivot, we would teach them about emotions, we would show them the difference between how this thought feels and how this thought feels and we would encourage them to choose the thought that feels better. Teach Them Selfishness Most of all, you have to teach them selfishness. They have to be selfish enough that they dont care what somebody else thinks and thats not an easy thing. You all have integrated yourself into a society where you very much care what people think. That is the hardest hurdle for most of you to overcome. You do care what others think because you have trained yourself, most of you, to get almost 100% of your connection to Energy from somebody who is physically focused and approving of you. In your early stages, is where most of you begin vying for approval. You began standing on your head, but what you discover is, you cannot get that Energy Stream from someone who is not connected to the Energy Stream. If they are not selfish enough to be connected, theyve got nothing to give you. Even though they want to. Your parents want to give you everything that you need, but they cant give it to you if theyre not connected to it. You have all kinds of people depending on each other for their connection. Thats why Teachers like us and Teachers like you have come into this physical time/space reality to remind you all how to make your own connection. To help you find your connection with Core Energy so that you can set your Tone and never again be dependent upon what somebody else thinks about you. So that if you have a rough day, you dont need

alcohol or drugs. You meditate and reconnect, or you quiet your mind, or you appreciate and reconnect, or you choose one of hundreds of pleasant images that youve been practicing that you keep in your pocket. You get one of them out and roll it around in your mind. You show yourself how to adjust your vibration. You never again depend upon the conditions to adjust your vibration. You leave behind what you have learned about conditional love, and you become one who loves unconditionally and in order to do that, you say, Nothing is more important than that I feel good. And in the beginning, sometimes that means, I need a drug. I need some alcohol. I need a friend who is connected. I need a stepping stone to help me to connect. And thats why we say we wouldnt take the drug away. We would allow the drug while we teach the greater message. The Children Know Why doesnt everyone who drinks become an alcoholic? Why doesnt everyone who uses the drugs...? Children have a hard time with this. All of these drug campaigns, Drugs are bad. They know that the peak performers, the heroes, the athletes are well involved. They know. They know the signals. They know the codes. They know the symbols. They know the signs. They know the lies. They know. You see? So people who dont know, say, Dont do that. While people who are doing that are excelling. Its the same old thing that happened when those who wanted to control said, Keep these rules and be among the blessed, and break those rules and be condemned. And then, too many people saw too many people breaking the rules and being blessed, and they said, Hey! Somethings screwy here. Im doing everything thats on this list, and Im not being blessed. And theyre breaking all the rules, and theyre abundant. Theyre lifes better than mine. And then the very wise manipulator said, Oh, you cannot judge by your life here on earth. It is after you die that the rewards and punishments are given. So then the assumption was, the better it feels, the worse it is. I guess Im supposed to suffer and struggle and deprive myself of anything that I might desire so that in heaven I will then receive my reward. And we say, That is the screwiest one of all. Because Law of Attraction is not different in the physical than it is in the Nonphysical. As you learn to find the vibration of connection the vibration of connection is always yours. You Are Pure Energy When you leave this physical realm and release your attention from it, you leave behind all vibration of the lower, slower nature, and your vibration raises to the highest level. And so, there is no way that you could get so bad or so negative or so disconnected that it would affect your afterlife because in the moment of your transition, you are Pure Positive Energy. Law of Attraction is responding to you eternally. And whatever you are offering, vibrationally, is what you are reaping in terms of manifestation and that consistency is the most powerful and important part of our physical and Nonphysical Universe. You got much more than you bargained for there, but it is at the heart of everything you ask. The more detail you give to your vision, the more you allow the Universe to go to work and line things up and often you can work the bugs out of it in your imagination before you take your first action. The Beasts Know It

f you know that all is well, you know all you need to know. And if you know life is supposed to be fun, you know more than almost anybody else knows. And if you know that the way you feel is your indicator of how connected you are to Source, then you know that which only a handful of Deliberate Creators, respective to the total population, really know. The beasts all know it. Your animals know that all is well. Your animals live in the moment. They understand the power of their now. They expect the Universe to yield to them. They dont worry or fret or conjure or make laws or rules or try to regulate. They are Pure Positive Energy. Your beasts vibrate more on the Energy scale of contentment than of passion. Their desire was set forth from Nonphysical, and continues to be set forth by those, like you, who want Energy balance, who want sustenance. The difference between the beast and the human is that the beast is more general in its intent. The human is usually less blended, usually less allowing of the Energy to flow but is more specific. And that is why the human is seen to be the Creator while the beast is more the balancer of Energy.

Your Rockets of Desire

ll of your power is in the now because all of your vibration is in the now. So when contrast gives birth to desire, bless that desire. Feel the power of the passion of that desire, because the Universe is hearing your rocket. And when you relax, the Universe will answer your rocket of desire. Esther saw a documentary where they were tapping into thunderstorms to find lightening bolts. They were sending a rocket up which was hooked with a wire to their equipment, and they wanted the lightening to strike the rocket because they were wanting to measure the current. And Esther said, Abraham, is this like that rocket of desire that you are talking about? And we said, It is very much like that. The contrast gives birth to your desire and then the Universe matches your rocket and brings it right back down to you. And so, as you are moving through the contrast of your physical experience, bless the contrast that gives you the desire. In that desire, you are summoning Life Force, and if you can learn to relax in the midst of that desire more good than you have ever imagined will begin to flow into your experience. Feel the power and the freshness of your now: You decipher the contrast. You know what you dont want. You send out your rocket of desire of what you do want and now you stand in a fresh new place; you want in a fresh way that you have never wanted before. And thats what life is. In that fresh wanting, you summon another dose of Energy. If you can begin to savor the mere fact that you have desire right now, and you would stop trying so hard to have that desire be fulfilled and manifested in some physical format then you would have it.
