The F152-HB is ECIs high-bandwidth platform optimized for fiber access technologies. The F152-HB accepts any combination of GPON line cards, Ethernet aggregation cards, or Active Ethernet cards to provide integrated OLT (i-OLT) or Layer 2 switching functionality. The platform is equipped with a 1.2 Terabit backplane, providing a futureproof solution for current GPON and next generation XG-PON technologies. The F152-HB is based on ECIs reputable F152 shelf architecture, currently deployed by Tier 1 carriers and successfully servicing millions of satisfied subscribers.

Advanced Features
The F152-HB supports i-OLT functionality by aggregating remote IP DSLAMs, providing Active Ethernet and GPON services, all within the same platform. Enhanced networking and security features provide traffic separation between different service providers and traffic fairness among end users. The F152-HB supports a wide variety of network interfaces and user interfaces which, together with the abovementioned features, make it a choice platform for carrier-of-carrier deployment scenarios.
