The National Scholars Program (NSP) at Clemson University has named 39 finalists for 2014, from nearly 1,400

applicants to the Calhoun Honors College. The 39 finalists are artists, musicians, and researchers with an impressive range of leadership, service and intellectual accomplishments. A sampling of finalist achievements include national awards in debate, languages, mock trial, and science; praise as performers, playwrights and directors in theater; and service as school team captains and community coaches. Collectively they have earned more than 100 scores of 5 on Advanced Placement exams. Finalists will compete for selection to the NSP Feb. 21-22, and invitations to join the NSP will be sent in midMarch.
