Stainless steels produced -y po#der metallurgical processing are #idely used for automoti,e applications. 79M stainless steels consolidated through solid%state sintering contain porosity. The o+ide and car-ide dispersion that is done to enhance the #ear%resistance further reduces densification during sintering and degrades -oth the mechanical properties and #ear%resistance. This study aimed at enhancing the sintera-ility of o+ide dispersed stainless steel composites -y supersolidus sintering and composition modification through alloying additi,es. 2) In,estigated the e''ect ' !interin( tem)erature n the P re &i*e M r)h l (y in the +e,2Cu, 0-9C all y! under the guidance of Dr. /.
