(E)A provision for supplying Electricity as per demand of the consumer, such as an industry may require much more electricity than domestic purpose. (E)A provides electricity supply in all the localities on a timely !asis. *epending on the requirements and reservations, (E)A has categori+ed the connections as Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and Special. Considering the necessity of electricity, an equally important factor is collecting the !ill payments on the !asis of electricity consumed.

,y application soft are is designed in a manner to overcome most of the shortcomings and tireless ork of the manual system, hich often lead to inaccuracy, and inefficiency of the department. It provides for the data!ase management of the department as ell as generation of various reports for the assistance of high' level managers.

This project has !een developed to provide !etter functioning to LESA. The application soft are intends to provide a computeri+ed environment here everything is fast - accurate. Provision for quick connections, complaints handling, !illing etc is there. Consumer satisfaction is main o!jective of this project. It ill also generate sufficiently duplicates !ills, erroneous !ills, false !illing or no !illing at all. Project also aims at providing !etter ork environment to the employees of (E)A. Everything has !een automated for this purpose.

MODULE DESCRIPTION :-

The various sections of the Module built in this Project are:-

APPLICATION $ This is the basic section of the Module and it

provides Registration on general basis to the Consumers who want a new Connection with a new Meter. This is sub-divided into two sections:a)

This section is for the Consumer to fill in the records for the fulfillment of the necessity of a new Connection.

APPLICATION RECORDS : This section is to show all the

records of the connection. pplications filled-in in the need of a new

CONNECTION $ This section is provided in the module to give details

to the users about the Connection provided to the Consumers of !"# . This section has further sub sections. These are:a)

NEW CONNECTION : This section is used to generate a new

Connection $umber and assign the Connection to the Consumers who had previously filled up the pplication%s &orm.

CONNECTION RECORDS : This section is to show all the

records of the Connections assigned to the Consumers. DISCONNECTION : This section is used to 'isconnect a Connection previously assigned( in case of any defaulter or any crisis.

RECONNECTION : This section is used to Reconnect a

Connection which was previously assigned but was 'isconnected due to some reasons.

METERS $ This section is used to change meters in case of any problem

and list the records of previously installed meters with their Connection $umbers. This section is divided into:a)

CHANGE METER : This section is used to change meters in

case of any problem li)e meter is tampered or not wor)ing.

LIST METERS : This section is used to show the list of Meters

installed and assigned to the Consumers with the Meter $umber and as well as the Connection $umber.

EMPLOYEES $ This is another section of the module which is

provides details of the employees wor)ing in !"# .

METER READING : This section of the module is used to fill in the

current reading with the date of reading( Connection number( and Meter number and other details.

BILL GENERATION : This section is used to generate bills

according to the details filled in by the Consumers li)e their Connection number( Meter number( Meter reading etc. This section is sub divided into:a)

GENERATION OF BILLS : This section is used to

generate bills according to the details filled in by the Consumers li)e their Connection number( Meter number( Meter reading etc.

PAYMENT OF BILLS : This section is used to record the

entries of payments made by the Consumers on account of their *ills assigned to them.

REPORTS : This section contains Reports based on the various sections

of the module li)e pplications Report( Connection Report etc.
