Introduction
"rgotlunar is a realtime delay$line granulator. %t !reaks up an incoming audio stream into short samples &grains'. (ach grain can ha)e random settings of amplitude* panning* duration* delay* pitch* glissando* filter and en)elope. The output of all grains is mi+ed and sent to the main output. The main output can !e fed !ack into the main input. Time$related parameters can !e synced to the host tempo* for rhythmic or pulsing te+tures. #itch$related parameters can !e quanti,ed for harmonic or melodic effects. -eed!ack can create chaotic and distorted sounds. Most of the parameters can !e correlated. (+amples. /igher filter cutoff for grains 0ith higher pitch* and )ice )ersa. 1rains 0ith shorter duration can !e panned to the center* and con)ersely the grains 0ith longer duration can !e panned 0ide in the stereo field. "rgotlunar is -ree Soft0are* licensed under 123 1# )4. #lease feel 0elcome to send any comments* suggestions* or !ug reports to argotlunar5gmail.com

Randomization
"ll controls la!eled ( ! or ( "! ad6ust the randomness of the corresponding parameter. " range of possi!le )alues can !e set !y a unipolar ( ! or !ipolar ( "! offset* relati)e to the main parameter setting. The e+act range 0ill !e displayed in the parameter display area. (ach 1rain 0ill choose a random )alue 0ithin this range.

Sa#ing/Loading $rograms
7our host sequencer handles the sa)ing and loading of VST/"3 programs/!anks. 8ut "rgotlunar can also sa)e and load its o0n internal format )ia the options menu. This allo0s sharing of presets !et0een "3 and VST )ersions.

%isc&llan&ous
(ach !ank contains 9: programs. The current program can !e selected !y the /" !uttons on the 13%* or !y standard controls in your sequencer. 8ut it is also possi!le to s0itch programs !y an automata!le VST/"3 parameter named ;program<. The options menu allo0s disa!ling this parameter* for compati!ility 0ith preset randomi, ers.

#arameters can !e correlated* such that the )alue of one parameter &source' 0ill influence the )alue of another parameter &destination'. The amount of correlation is controlled !y the correlation slider* !elo0 the Sourc& and )&st selectors. There are t0o modulation modes* )ir&ct and Scal&d &chosen !y the s0itch !eside the correlation slider'

Scal&d mod&
The source 0ill !e scal&d to the random range* then applied to the destination. This 0orks only if the source parameter random range is non$,ero.

)ir&ct mod&
The destination )alue 0ill !e the sam& as the source )alue. The range min/ma+ )alues are ignored. This is most useful 0hen the source has ,ero randomness* and 0e 0ant the destination to follo0 the source parameter t0eaking.
