Headmasters Corner
I would like to thank the many parents who attended this weeks FOTM meeting and Senior School information evening. Starting with FOTM, we would like to thank Mrs Sarah Preston for all her hard work on the committee as she announced that she would be stepping down as Vice-Chair. She will be replaced by Mrs Leanne Edwards and Mrs Kelly Patel who will share the role. Mrs Camilla Allen has kindly stepped in to be Secretary whilst Mr Rob Preston is away overseas. I was delighted that the committee were unanimous in their backing to develop the new adventure playground and complete the work that has been undertaken in the school hall. The Senior School evening on Thursday was a resounding success and we look forward to arranging another for next term with two other schools. I know that Mr Holliday and Mrs Tobias thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Reception News
Reception had a fantastic outing this week. We went to the pet shop to collect the two newest additions to our class, Humphrey and Basil the Guinea Pigs. The names were chosen through a Lower School competition and, after lots of suggestions the lucky winner was Lily Edwards. I would like to thank the children in Reception for their enthusiasm and manners during this trip.
