Early CE John Smith founds the Council as an advisory system for managing conflicts between large numbers of supernaturals.

1100s Council gains import during the Crusades as large-scale supernatural groups take sides The Council supervises a huge operation to remove all credible historical records regarding supernaturals. Masquerade, 1400s etc are all strengthened. Salem Witch Trials. Some say the removal of all credible sources on the supernatural has lead to a new era of 1692 unfounded and dangerous supersition. The Council moves to the new world and sets its main operations there, partly to control the growing trend of supersition1700s based violence. 1850 The Pinkerton National Detective Agency is formed under a subsidary of Securitas AB by Allan Pinkerton. Late 1800s Council starts to fade in Europe and the USA as the American Civil war throws the new world into chaos. Fayette, MI, a small mining/smelting town in the Upper Peninsula of MI becomes a ghost town overnight, with no record of it's nearly 500 residents except for their untouched homes which all appear untouched as if they were at dinner when 1891 the disappearance happened. Early 1900s The Council is reduced to a skelleton crew. John Smith hasn't been seen in some time. A loose alliance of supernatural organizations, Occultists, and mystics meet in Boston, Mass to attempt to assess the changes to the New World. Loosely allied, they called themselves the "Council of Mysteries" and had some of the 1901 foremost experts on mysticism, the Occult and Science present. The Concord of the 20th Century is drafted. USS Cyclops departs from New Lisbon and heads through the Bermuda Triangle with a crew of 309 US Navy Sailors. It March 4, 1918 is never found. May 2nd, 1918 She is born. The Carroll A. Deering is found abandoned at Diamond Shoals, near Cape Hatteras, NC. While rumored to have run January 31, 1921 afoul of pirates, no proof was ever uncovered to the disappearance of it's crew or cargo. June 20th, 1931 The Event. The Philadelphia Experiment is rumored to have occurred, with the US Navy declaring it a hoax. In reality, the October 28, 1943 experiment succeeded, but was covered up as a failure of interpretation of Einstein's Unified Field Theory. 1947 Project Mogul begins Roswell Army Air Field Public Information Officer Walter Haut issues a press release stating that an Unidentified Flying July 8, 1947 Object was captured in Roswell, NM. Commanding General Roger M. Ramey releases a statement at a press conference stating that the "UFO" was actually a July 9, 1947 radar-tracking balloon, which does little to alleviate the fears of extra terrestrial creatures. Project Moguel is declared defunct (publically) and a report is released claiming it is responsible for the UFO sightings in 1949 1947. September 16, 1950 The first reported disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle are published in major newspapers All traces of Project V.I.R.G.I.L dissapear from the Department of Defense's books due to a massive application of Mind August 9th, 1964 ArchMagic. There are reports of a strange occurrance near Niagara Falls, New York causing a massive evacuation of the area. It is 1976 believed this is a precurson for future events. It is not classified as serious threat. The Niagara Site is covered up, and the area secured and abandoned. The quarantined area blamed for massive toxic 1978 waste leakage as a result of Hooker Chemicals. Little Rock, AR - Several motorists report meeting a well dressed man along side the road who would ride with them for several miles and regale them with a story about "The Return". Reports said the man disappeared from the moving car upon revealing his message. Arkansas State Troopers reported at least two, and possibly more confirmed sightings of 1979 this prophet. July 8th, 1998 She returns. September 9th, 1998 The first Incursion is recorded. November 12th, 1998 John Smith encounters his first Reality Abominations. July 20th, 1999 The Church of the Ultimate Truth is granted Non Profit status and officially recognized as a religion in the USA. John Smith returns to the Council, which is now reduced to a handfull of ageing believers. He revitilizes it, the Concord is redrafted into an official charter and the Accord is created. A changeling named Red Tape appears unbidden at the first August 19th, 1999 meeting to serve as secretary James Underdown forms the Independant Investigations Group (IIG) in Hollywood, CA that investigates fringe science, paranormal and extraordinary claims, etc. The group is responsible for debunking a number of hoaxes and offers a $50,000 prize to someone who can provide evidence of the supernatural. Rumors surround a number of individuals who January 2000 try, but no one is able to substaintiate if this is successful or not. The Council begins gathering data that leads them to find other supernaturals who have dealt with incursions. They are March 12th, 2000 recruited into the first Cells. John Smith is almost killed while leading a team to wipe out a major incursion. The battle attracts the attention of VIRGIL. June 11th, 2000 A 6.4 magnitude earthquake ensues and the incursion is eliminated. VIRGIL is added to the Council. The Council learns the truth behind the Church of Ultimate Truth. Assumptions about the scale and nature of the August 7th, 2001 incursions are shattered. July 22nd, 2002 Recruitment efforts have been successfull. There seems to be enough cells to keep the incursions at bay. A small city known as Site XV is Quarantined after a number of incursions are witnessed. Urban Legends in the area of Tennessee talk about an old mining town in the Mountains that disappeared in a flood caused by damage done to Norris March 1st, 2002 Dam. April 21st, 2002 The city at Site XV is eliminated and the destruction is covered up. Febuary 3rd, 2004 Red Tape locates the lore required to begin creating Udjat again. November 12th, 2004 The incursions seem to be under control, with most active ones being eliminated. Against John Smith's direct orders, Frank Langley leads a large number of active Cells into a Tear to try to eliminate the October 25th, 2008 source of the Incursions. The Tear closes but the incursions do not stop. September 22nd, The leader of the Church of Ultimate Truth is captured and iterrogated, leading to discovery of the connection between 2009 belief in The Truth and the souls of those killed in Incursions. June 12th, 2010 Frank Langley appears at a Regional Council meeting and kills over 100 Cell agents and the entire regional directorship.
