Paper Submission

Authors are encouraged to submit high-quality, original work that has neither appeared in, nor is under consideration by, other journals. Springer offers authors, editors and reviewers of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Applications a webenabled online manuscript submission and review system. Our online system offers authors the ability to track the review process of their manuscript. This online system offers easy and straightforward log-in and submission procedures, and supports a wide range of submission file formats. Manuscripts should be submitted to: http://PPNA.edmgr.com. Choose Advanced P2P Security and Privacy as the article type.

Recently, rapid technological advancements in various networking technologies such as 3G/4G cellular systems, wireless sensor networks, and vehicular networks have led to the establishment of Peer-to-Peer Converged Ubiquitous Networks. One of typical examples for the next generation P2P converged ubiquitous networks is P2P cloud computing systems. The P2P cloud systems enable convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable www.Springer.com/12083 computing resources (e.g., networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. However, despite of these advantages, P2P converged ubiquitous networks have also introduced novel threats and vulnerabilities related to leakage of confidential information. Thus, it is necessarily required to develop trustworthy security and privacy systems which can be implemented by security technologies. The aim of this special issue is to foster state-of-the-art research in the area of security and privacy computing for P2P converged ubiquitous networks environments. Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit complete original papers dealing with the following topics (but not limited to) of P2P converged ubiquitous networks: Security issues in P2P converged ubiquitous networks System and network security Secure protocols, intrusion detection, authentication/authorization
