Praise the Lord

(Theme)Matthew 7:13-14 13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.

Let us pray::our heavenly father we give thanks for giving this precious time
for meditating the word of god and to understand thy word and to implement in our spiritual lives and in our day to day life to have victorious life in this world as you have won the world. Give us the ear of hearing and the heart of understanding, we ask these things in the name of Jesus our savior amen!

When we read the scripture we can understand that 1) Jesus way is narrow way and few will go through this way. 2) There is also a broad way and many will go through that way. In John 14:6 6 Jesus answered, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. So, from the scripture John 14:6 he says that he is the way and from Mathews 7:13 he says his way is narrow way.

That means that Jesus Christ Teachings, His commandments & his words are the steps in the narrow way. When we observe that commands of the Jesus Christ when he is in the world in the midst of us in the flesh he said these commands.

FIRST COMMAND

MATHEWS 22:37

: 37 Jesus replied: Love the Lord your God with all

your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.[a] greatest commandment.

This is the first and

SECOND COMMAND MATHEWS 22:39 39 And the second is like it: Love your neighbor
as yourself. 1PETER 3:14 But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened."

Even when we see the words which Jesus Christ Spoke in the Cross at that time he teaches the loving of enemies and he loved to obey gods command. When we see in the Scriptures he had given many commands for Christians or we can say the followers of Jesus Christ. One time he said that in John 6:54-55 54 whoever eats my flesh and drinks my
blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. food and my blood is real drink.

When he said many of them around Jesus Christ and his 70 of disciples were troubled in their hearts thinking that he is not the son of Joseph and Mary, what he is talking what he is telling to us and they offended in their hearts.

We can see this conversation in the Chapter 6 of John 6:60-61 60 On hearing it, many of his disciples said, This is a hard teaching. Who can accept it? Aware that his disciples were grumbling about this, Jesus said to them, Does this offend you?

But when Jesus Christ saw 12 disciples and asked what about you? are you leaving? John6:68 68 Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go?
You have the words of eternal life. 69 We have come to believe and to know that you are the Holy One of God.

Here when we observe that some disciples have left Jesus Christ even they stepped in the narrow way, they taught it was very hard to follow Jesus Christ teachings.

If a person who is not following Jesus will think these teachings are good and they will also implement in their lives without Jesus in their heart that is waste. When we see some people they follow Jesus words and they will leave Jesus it is easy to say and it is very hard to implement and live accordingly (like in John 6061) verses. Some people will never and ever cannot recognize that there is a way like narrow way. Some people always love to go in the broad way for their satisfaction. But Jesus said in John 14:20 20 On that day you will realize that I am in
my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.( i.e., Christ is in me and I in Christ Jesus)

We should have such a relation with Jesus Christ, He wants such intimacy. Then there arises a Question that how can it be possible? the answer is that (External Jesus Christ Should Be internal) In Romans 8:9 And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not
belong to Christ. This you can see in the later part of the scripture. Of Romans 8:9 It means that Christ Jesus = Holy Spirit. We have to understand that we should be filled by the spirit and led by the spirit unless we are led by the spirit we cannot fulfill the commands or we cannot travel in the narrow way without any hassles. In 1corintians 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

If anyone think that I practice the teaching and commands of Jesus Christ with my might it is not possible, with their IQ it is not possible, with their Knowledge it is not possible, with their abilities of the world it not possible unless the external Jesus who said these words should live in you then only it is possible for your lifes.

In Zechariah 4:6'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. So it is by the spirit of god only it is possible. So Jesus Christ says tonight through the scriptures that Enter the narrow gate with the help of the Holy Spirit and led by the Holy Spirit for a successful eternal glory. Conclusion Prayer: Our heavenly father, Give us the strength to follow your commands and your teachings and to led by thy spirit and to have successful life in the narrow path and to reach the eternal kingdom of yours.
