Arrange the following in the order of increasing boiling points of the following: Bromoethane, chloroethane, iodoethane. 9. Name the product formed when acetaldehyde reacts with excess of ethanol in the presence of dry hydrogen chloride. 10. How do you show the presence of carbonyl group in glucose is an aldehyde group?

Calculate the equivalent conductance of acetic acid at infinite dilution. 13. In a chemical reaction in gas phase 2A 4B + C, the concentration of B is found to increase by 3 1 5 10 mol L in 10 seconds. Calculate (i) the rate of appearance of B and (ii) rate of disappearance of A.
