Retrofitoftheexistinglandscapeislandintoaninfiltrationbasin.Thisbasinwillcapturewaternaturallydraining towardstheareaandcapturewaterfromthebuildingroof. Redirectingflowfromthe7,800sq.ft.rooftoa10,000gallonundergroundcistern.Graywatertobeusedfor toilets,urinal,dishwashing,andplantings.Initialestimateof630gal/dayusage. Avacantlotreuseprojecttodevelopaninnovativegrowingfacilitythatstoreswaterthatfallsonthestructurein aninternal2000galloncisternwithoverflowtoanadjacentraingarden. Collectrainwaterfroma10,000sq.ft.drainageareathatincludesbuildingroofandadjacentcourtyardin4500 galloncisterns.Waterwillbeusedforhangingwallgardensandlandscaping.
