Undertaking and only agreeing a realistic workload that I can manage around my other courses. It is important not to make false promises to the client as they will be expecting all of the products that both of us have agreed. It is extremely unprofessional if a product is missing. This could lead to a bad reputation and a loss of business from the client. I have the responsibly to ensure that the client will not have to worry about being sued for copyright issues.

another persons work. Using university equipment (printers etc.) to lower the cost of printing. Ordering printing from other companies in bulk. Using software trials and software provided by the university. Creating all of the designs myself, so there is no labour costs. Getting a detailed brief from the client with examples of the other similar products that they like. Giving a client a thorough questionnaire to fill out. Making suggestions to the client about possible products and styles. Showing the client a rough preview of the product before pursuing the final designs (showing the client two drafts before the printing stage).

It is important to stick to the budget of the client otherwise I will make a loss in profit if the budget is not managed properly (which I cannot charge the client extra for). The client is always right. They are the person(s) that will be represented by the product not me, so it crucial that I listen to the ideas and their message/ image they want to portray.
