1. Introduction
AutoTest is a hand held measuring instrument designed for use in analyzing 12volt automotive electrical systems. It is a microprocessor controlled device that can be used as a: Stand alone automotive battery tester. Battery load tester/starter motor tester. By using the vehicle starting system as a constant current electrical load for the battery, AutoTest can perform a traditional battery load test. The results can also be used to analyze the starter motor condition. Full featured automotive multimeter. Current probe. Electrical system analyzer that prompts the operator through a comprehensive vehicle electrical system test via messages on its 4-line liquid crystal display.
