Friends
Good friends have common interests and ideas, and probably similar tastes in music,
clothes and free-time activities. However the most important aspect of friendship, according to the
students at North Westminster Community School interviewed by Imelda Finnerty, is trust. Trust is
what it is all about. A real friend is someone who is loyal and help you when things arent going
well.
Rosie: My good friends are Jane and Amas. I meet Amas when I was 5 and Jane when I
was 13.
Amas: I meet Rosie when I was waiting outside her house on the day she moved in next
door to me. I was about to go and then she came out and we start talking.
Jane: Rosie and I come to school together and do everything together. We go to the
cinema. We talk about everything together. Apart from trust, its all about love. Being able to
communicate. If one of us has problems, we all help each other.
Kenneth: Sebastian is a friend. He helped me out when I had a problem. So we will always
be friends and have things to talk about together.
James: I think we all know the true meaning of friendship. No matter what happens,
wherever we go, whatever we do, we will always be friends and nothing can come between us.~
Rosie: We are like one big happy family.
