Accordin" to the web site 2TAT=>.com the statistical instit$te o% &amaica de%ines the $nemployed as ?9ersons who are a'ailable to work and c$rrently seekin" work# b$t the person is witho$t work@. =n addition to the in the other so$rces# accordin" to the "leaner dated1 2eptember 03# 2004# the "o'ernment stri'es to s$b.$"ate $nemployment in &amaica1 the 0leaner states that many e%%ort is p$t in place to red$ce on employment in the co$ntry and that $nemployment is ca$sed by la5iness and lack o% ed$cation# beca$se .obs are always been ad'ertised in the /aily 0leaner# and most time no one t$rn $p %or these position. From the >ewspaper article in the career section o% the 2$nday "leaner# it can be constr$ed that the in%ormation "athered is credible and reliable and 'alid since the in%ormation is $p to date and %act$al. This concl$sion is based on the %act that the newspaper is written %or mass a$dience and the data p$t %orward by the editors has "one thro$"h intensi'e research on this topic. The 0leaner also has a rep$tation o% p$ttin" %orward credible in%ormation. The in%ormation "athered %rom the internet websites on $nemployment is %act$al as there was no bias in the in%ormation. The data placed on their website as done by trained pro%essionals in the %ield o% economics# psycholo"y and b$siness. The so$rce is also 'alid as their website is persistently $pdated with new in%ormation on this topic. This so$rce e-presses the main iss$e which leads to $nemployment in society. Dike the =nternet# the writin" disco$rse o% the 0leaner is "enerally not %$ll o% technical terms and is $s$ally easy to $nderstand# The 0leaner tends to pro'ide more in depth in%ormation on the topics they are writin" abo$t. The in%ormation "athered %rom the obser'ation is tr$stworthy and pla$sible# beca$se there was no attempt to create %alse report or to %i- the e'idence to %it re*$irements. =n addition to the obser'ations# the researcher cond$cts some inter'iews with a$thori5ed persons in the %ield o% b$siness and economics so there was no %ake
in%ormation "athered at the inter'iews. They were str$ct$red inter'iews with set *$estions1 there%ore# the in%ormation can be seen as credible and reliable. The *$estionnaires were handed o$t to the respondents. They "ot ample time to complete the *$estions properly witho$t my dist$rbance and any %orced choice. The *$estions were handed to people o% all kind# as mentioned in the description o% in%ormation.
Conclusions
=t can be sa%ely said %rom the in%ormation "athered that $nemployment can)t be "enerali5ed as bein" ca$sed by .$st one thin"# b$t is ca$sed by a 'ariety o% reasons. 2ome o% the main %actors areE rele'ant skills# ed$cational *$ali%ications# and the or"ani5ation o% choice. More emphasis sho$ld be placed in ed$catin" people and creatin" .obs.
