Jimmy Petruzzi

Jimmy is a qualified NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Trainer and International


performance’ Coach. He has worked in many countries with successful people
including Premiership Football teams, Top Athletes, Politicians, Businesses,
Entrepreneurs, TV Celebrities, Teachers and Schools, helping them to achieve peak
performance in all aspects of their lives using NLP.
One area were Jim has made a massive impact is in business, helping many
businesses increase their productivity, confidence, motivation, profit
In 2006 Jimmy received the highly commended Coaching Award for International &
Domestic work.
Jimmy will discuss “The Difference of being a world champion in sport and being
50th best is around 1%”

Christopher Barrat
Christopher Barrat is an established and well respected speaker, consultant and author
in procurement development skills. His knowledge is based on genuine experience in
the real world where he has been a sales manager as well as a corporate buyer and
purchasing director. He has seen the full range of commercial activity, from small to
large business interaction, and operated within a wide range of business types.

As a speaker he works in conjunction with the CIPS to deliver their ‘Masterclass’


series on Management and Leadership. He has been asked to speak four years running
at the annual CIPS conference, where his seminars have always scored very highly.

He hosts both the ‘Centre for Procurement Leadership’ and the ‘Purchasing Leaders
Strategic Forum’ both of which are run by CIPS to develop new thinking in the world
of purchasing.

In his procurement work he has lead major change projects, set up new supplier
management programs and directly trained procurement staff. The levels of activity
have been both strategic and at an implementation level.

Christopher will show despite many good efforts there is still good evidence that
procurement does not command the respect it should have – this presentation will
give you some key insights into how to change this
Peter McDermott

Peter is responsible for the strategic development of CCI, ensuring alignment with
government policy and latest research. He is a professor of construction procurement.
He manages research contracts and doctoral studies concerning strategic procurement,
and advises upon the impact of newer forms of procurement within the construction
sector. He has worked with regional and national construction clients and policy
makers in implementing change through construction procurement.
