Passive Voice
When do we use Passive Voice?
We use the passive voice in 2 cases:
1- To focus on the object rather than Subject 2- When we don't know who did the action

Example:
High marks are required in Medicine School.

Form:
To make a Passive sentence out of an active one, you can follow the following steps: 1- Switch the subject with the object. 2- Put "to be" in the same tense as the original verb. 3- Give the Past Participle of the Verb. 4- Add "by" if necessary. ACTIVE
Brian builds the house Brian is building the house Brian has built the house Brian built the house Brian was building the house Brian had built the house Brian will build the house Brian will be building the house Brian can build the house

Active
Millions of people watched the film Jimmy sings that song The whole world is speaking English My grandmother will tell me a nice story My daughter can win the first prize

Passive
The film was watched by millions That song is sung by Jimmy English is being spoken by the whole world I will be told a nice story by my grandmother The first prize can be won by my daughter

A) Make correct passive forms. Mind the tenses in

brackets. Example: - the car - to produce (Simple Present) the car is produced
