Navy Yard Shooter Was on Mass Murder Suicide Pills

Drug Linked to Previous Mass Shooting Despite Washington Post Declaring It Safe

t has been conrmed that Navy Yard gunman Aaron Alexis was on the anti-depressant drug Trazodone, providing yet another example of a connection between psychiatric drugs and mass shootings. In verifying that Alexis was prescribed Trazodone by the Veterans Affairs Ofce, The Washington Post published a brief article downplaying the danger of the drug, quoting Miami physician Gabriela Cora who stated (almost too eagerly), Honestly, its a very safe drug to use. However, the drug has been linked to a number of murders, including one mass shooting. Trazodone is sold under the brand names Desyrel, Oleptro, Benecat, Deprax, Desirel, Molipaxin, Thombran, Trazorel, Trialodine, Trittico, and Mesyrel. Although not strictly a member of the SSRI antidepressants, it shares many of the same properties and also serves to increase the amount of serotonin in the brain. Despite The Washington Posts attempts to portray the drug as being safe, it is linked with a whole host of side-effects including suicidal tendencies, panic attacks, depersonalization, and anger. Symptoms of Trazodone withdrawal include aggression and violent behavior. The drug also carries an, FDA black box warning for suicide, and is documented to cause mania and violent behavior, writes Kelly Patricia OMeara. Several murder cases over the past few years have been directly connected to Trazodone. 1) Eight people were killed and one wounded during a mass shooting at a beauty parlor in Seal Beach, California in 2011. The killer, Scott Evan Dekraai, was on Desyrel, a commercial variant of Trazodone. 2) In 2009, Perley Goodrich Jr. beat his mother and then shot his father dead shortly after being injected with Trazodone in a psychiatric hospital. Goodrich had

complained that he didnt want to take the medication because it made him feel violent. 3) In 2009, Steven Foster shot a gas station attendant in the head before shooting him a second time. Bottles of Trazodone pills were later found in Fosters room. 4) Marine Lance Cpl. Delano Holmes fatally stabbed an Iraqi soldier to death in 2007 after military doctors prescribed him Trazodone. 5) Indiana soldier Pfc. David Lawrence was taking Trazodone in combination with Zoloft when he killed a Taliban commander in a prison cell in 2010. Lawrence was charged with premeditated murder. According to the FDA, taking these drugs in combination can cause altered consciousness, confusion, hallucinations, and coma. This is interesting given that Aaron Alexis had also suffered from PTSD, blackouts, and anger issues years before he began receiving treatment from the VA. We now know that Alexis had been treated since August by the Veterans Administration for his mental problems. As Mike Adams points out, This is proof that Aaron Alexis was on psychiatric drugs, because thats the only treatment currently being offered by the Veterans Administration for mental problems. Alexis family members also conrmed to the press that he was being treated for his mental health problems. Across the medical industry, treatment is the code word for psychiatric drugging. Could he have been on more than just one anti-depressant drug at the time of the rampage? The most common form of treatment for PTSD is Paroxetine, which is listed as the number three top violence-causing drug by the Institute for Safe

Medication Practices (ISMP). Regardless of the fact that the Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis was taking a drug from a class of psychotropics that have been linked to dozens of previous mass shootings, the mainstream media has once again avoided all discussion of the issue, preferring instead to blame the tragedy on a non-existent AR-15 that the gunman didnt even use. Prescription drugs were found in the apartment of Batman shooter James Holmes days after the Aurora massacre, but it took nine months to nd out exactly what those drugs were. Like Columbine killer Eric Harris, Holmes had been taking Zoloft, another SSRI drug linked with violent outbursts. The length of time it took to nd out that Holmes was on Zoloft was partly because the media habitually shows zero interest in pursuing the link between antidepressants and violence. As the website SSRI Stories profusely documents, there are literally hundreds of examples of mass shootings, murders, and other violent episodes that have been committed by individuals on psychiatric drugs over the past three decades. The number of cases is staggering. Why is the corporate media so disinterested

in pursuing this clear connection? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that the pharmaceutical giants who produce drugs like Zoloft, Prozac, and Paxil spend around $2.4 billion dollars a year on direct-to-consumer television advertising every year. By running negative stories about prescription drugs, networks risk losing tens of millions of dollars in ad revenue. While failing to ask questions about what SSRI drugs Aaron Alexis was taking prior to his rampage, the media instead blamed the shooting on assault ries, even after it had been conrmed that no AR-15 was used by Alexis during the massacre. FBI assistant director Victoria Parlave stated at a press conference on September 17 that authorities, do not have any information at this time that [Alexis] had an AR-15 in his possession. Despite there being no evidence that an AR15 was used, The New York Daily News ran a front page headline the morning of September 17 claiming, Same Gun Different Slay, next to a picture of an assault rie. Hours after the FBI stated that no AR-15 had been used, MSNBCs Alex Wagner, who previously blamed the Boston bombings on Alex Jones, continued

to use an animated graphic depicting Alexis carrying an assault rie during the massacre. Anti-Second Amendment crusader Piers Morgan also erroneously blamed the shooting on a man with a legally purchased AR-15, who just committed the same kind of atrocity as we saw at Sandy Hook and Aurora, during his CNN show on Monday. CNNs live news coverage also reported that Alexis had recently purchased (an) AR-15 shotgun, when in fact that purchase had been denied. Both The New York Times and The Washington Post also falsely reported that an AR-15 had been found on Alexis after the massacre. D.C. gun grabbers Dianne Feinstein and Dick Durbin also regurgitated the false claim that Alexis used an AR-15 during the rampage. The U.S. press has once again behaved like state media in the aftermath of the Navy Yard shooting by pursuing the assault rie angle despite the fact that it was patently false in order to bolster the White Houses gun control agenda. In doing so, they have concurrently buried an integral aspect of mass shootings that needs to be highlighted as part of a national conversation the clear connection between violent outbursts and SSRI drugs.

More than a Decade After 9/11, Globalists Openly Embrace al-Qaeda

In Case You Didnt Get the Memo, al-Qaeda, the Group Supposedly Responsible for 9/11, Is Now Our Ally in Syria

hen Infowars made the claim months ago that the governments ties to al-Qaeda effectively meant Obama had assumed the role of global head of al-Qaeda, we were predictably demonized for calling our beloved leader out on his administrations murderous relationship with what we have been led to believe are some of the most notorious criminals on the planet. After all, it was al-Qaeda, we were told, who committed the heinous acts of 9/11. Although our damning report provided profuse documentation supporting the fact the Obama administration has directly been funneling aid and training, along with millions of dollars, to al-Qaedadominated Syrian opposition forces, mainstream media pundits, led by the likes of MSNBCs Rachel Maddow, still attempted to discredit Jones using straw man and ad hominem tactics, as well as formulating and attributing patently unsubstantiated accusations. Maddow lumped our heavily documented claim that Americas dear leader was in bed with al-Qaeda with less popular conspiracies, many of whose ofcial stories have also been thoroughly debunked. He also thinks the evidence is overwhelming that the government staged the Oklahoma City bombing [and] that the government staged the space shuttle disaster, Maddow said in April. He also says the evidence is overwhelming that President Obama is now personally the global head of al-Qaeda. See, folks, the evidence is just overwhelming. Do I have to spell it out for you? Are you blind? Maddow asked, feigning incredulity and ignoring the deluge of supporting evidence provided in our article. Fervent Infowars readers likely need no further evidence America has been the primary mover behind al-Qaeda forces in Syria. For years, we

have documented how the CIA and other foreign governments have purposely installed different factions of the terror group (read as: mercenaries) around the world to destabilize key regions. Here is just a smattering of recent articles further supporting the fact Obama is working with the very people we were told to fear in the days after 9/11.

Ignoring the Headlines

In order to remain blithely oblivious to the multiple conrmations proving our claims accurate, its necessary to ignore contradictory headlines. Here are a few: In a recent article by the UKs London Independent, writer Robert Fisk asked Does Obama Know Hes Fighting on al-Qaedas Side? Fisk writes, If Barack Obama decides to attack the Syrian regime, he has ensured for the very rst time in history that the United States will be on the same side as al-Qaida. In a USA Today story titled, Syrian Rebels Pledge Loyalty to al-Qaeda, writer Mona Alami also claimed, A Syrian rebel groups April pledge of allegiance to al-Qaedas replacement for Osama bin Laden suggests that the terrorist groups inuence is not waning and that it may take a greater role in the Western-backed ght to topple Syrian President Bashar Assad. Another story out of the London Guardian, entitled, Al-Qaida Turns Tide for Rebels in Battle for Eastern Syria, eshed out that Free Syrian Army ghters met almost every day with al-Qaeda leadership, the same rebel forces weve been pledging millions of dollars to. In yet another story indicating the Free Syrian Army was increasingly being overtaken by anti-American al-Qaeda loyalism, the BBC interestingly published an article titled, Syria Crisis: Al-Nusra Pledges Allegiance to al-Qaeda, which claims. The leader of the al-Nusra Front, a jihadist group ghting in Syria,

has pledged allegiance to the leader of alQaeda, Ayman al-Zawahiri Abu Mohammed al-Jawlani said the groups behaviour in Syria would not change as a result. And in a report from February by the London Telegraph, titled, Syria: How Jihadist Group Jabhat al-Nusra is Taking Over Syrias Revolution, Ruth Sherlock wrote, For many Syrians, Nusra is synonymous with al-Qaeda. Many of their ghters are foreign jihadists; some fought with al-Qaeda in Iraq. Last December, the Gray Lady of establishment propaganda, The New York Times, was also forced to report Syrian Rebels Tied to Al Qaeda Play Key Role in War.

Obama Admits He Wants to Aid al-Qaeda

In Obamas September 10 speech, he confessed to the nation that the opposition forces he so badly wanted to support in Syria were increasingly al-Qaeda extremists. Its true that some of Assads opponents are extremists, Obama admitted. But al-Qaeda will only draw strength in a more chaotic Syria if people there see the world doing nothing to prevent innocent civilians from being gassed to death. George Orwells 1984 perfectly depicted the problem of a nation surrendering control of its media to the government. In his startlingly accurate vision, whole nations were convinced they had never been at war, or they were always at war, simply through media manipulation. Of course, Orwell never anticipated the immense technological advances that would one day emerge to aid those who have realized the absurdity of embracing the very terror groups we were supposed to be ghting. Even former U.S. National Security Adviser and Trilateral Commission co-founder Zbigniew Brzezinski has recently had to admit that instant mass communications such as radio, television, and the Internet was derailing efforts to create a new world order, and that a global political awakening was responsible for unhinging plans for a Syrian intervention. Its important to realize that its the medias job to feed us war propaganda. Through war, the globalists believe, they can derive order from chaos. However, with the Defense Departments recent admissions they would have to beef up their public affairs efforts due to the American people no longer placing faith in their credibility, and with Obama backing off of a potential Syria strike (for the time being), its evident humanity is at a turning point where alternative and independent media is beginning to have an impact being felt at the highest levels of government.

Ignoring Pundits, Lawmakers and Leaders

Several prominent political pundits and national leaders have also begun attempting to wake the American people up to Obamas al-Qaeda support efforts. When the Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted early September to authorize strikes on Syria, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul highlighted the absurdity of aiding known terrorists when he stated, This is an important moment You will be funding, today, the allies of al-Qaeda. Its an irony you cannot overcome. Conservative pundit Pat Buchanan was also one of the rst prominent political commentators to reveal he believed the Syrian gas attack may have been a staged provocation. We have also seen Senators Ted Cruz and Dennis Kucinich state that if Obama authorized air strikes on Syria, then our military would in effect become al-Qaedas air force. Also at the end of August, former Congressman Ron Paul claimed he believed Syrias disputed August 21 chemical weapons attack could have been a false ag attack, and asked Fox News host Neil Cavuto, Why dont we ask about the al-Qaeda? Why are we on the side of the al-Qaeda right now? Afghan President Hamid Karzai has also made clear that the Obama administration is now colluding with the Taliban while the group carries out suicide bombings in the service of America.

Middle of the Road in Healthcare Leads to Socialism

he ever-expanding role of government in healthcare provides an excellent example of Ludwig Von Mises warning that the middle of the road leads to Socialism. Beginning in the 1940s, government policies distorted the healthcare market, causing prices to rise and denying many Americans access to quality care. Congress reacted to the problems caused by their prior interventions with new interventions, such as the HMO Act, ERISA, EMTLA, and various federal entitlement programs. Each new federal intervention not only failed to x the problems it was supposedly created to solve, it created new problems, leading to calls for even more new federal interventions. This process culminated in 2010, when Congress passed Obamacare. Contrary to the claims of some of its opponents, Obamacare is not socialized medicine; it is corporatized medicine. After all, the central feature of Obamacare is the mandate that all Americans buy health insurance from private health insurance companies. And, as with previous government interventions in the marketplace, Obamacare is not only failing to correct the problems caused by prior federal laws, it is creating new problems. Consider the almost weekly stories about how Obamacare is causing health insurance premiums to rise, causing employees to lay off workers or reduce their workers hours, and causing doctors to leave the profession. Also, consider the problems the administration is already having administering the federal exchanges and other parts of the healthcare law. I fully expect the implosion of Obamacare to continue, and the supporters of nationalized healthcare to use Obamacares failures to push for a Canadian-style single payer healthcare system. Unfortunately, some Obamacare opponents fail to see that the problem is not just Obamacare, but all government interference with healthcare. These Obamacare opponents advocate replacing Obamacare with Obamacare lite, but economic law teaches us that Obamacare lite will be no more successful than Obamacare. In order to win the battle for health freedom, those who oppose nationalized healthcare must have the courage to advocate for a complete free market in healthcare. Enhanced individual tax credits and enhanced use of Health Savings Accounts (HSA) are just two polices that could help restore a free-market in health care by putting control over the healthcare dollar back in the hands of the people. A good place to start would be to repeal Obamacares restrictions on HSAs.

Contrary to the claims of some of its opponents, Obamacare is not socialized medicine. It is corporatized medicine.

Long-term group insurance contracts could ensure that those with pre-existing conditions could obtain coverage. Under such a contract, individuals could pool resources to purchase a group policy that would cover any and all problems any member might develop over time. Businesses, churches, community organizations, and even fraternities and sororities could offer these types of contracts. Negative outcomes insurance, where patients waive the right to sue for medical errors in exchange for guaranteed payouts to those harmed, could reduce the burden of malpractice litigation. Other free-market healthcare reforms that could make the healthcare market more competitive and lower the cost of healthcare include allowing individuals to purchase insurance from across state lines, removing restrictions on physicianowned hospitals, and reducing the regulatory power of the Food and Drug Administration. Some will say it is unrealistic to advocate replacing Obamacare with a pure free-market system, but in fact it is unrealistic to expect anything less than a true free-market to provide quality healthcare for Americans at all income levels. Continuing on the middle of the road in healthcare by mixing freemarkets with government spending and regulations will only continue to take us on the road to socialized health care. Wife of Man Executed by FBI Demands Justice

Ibragim Todashev Executed After Eight Hours of FBI Interrogation Following Boston Bombing

Reni Todashev admitted receiving justice for her husbands murder at the hands of the FBI will be difficult, but vowed to press the case in the United States.

he widow of Ibragim Todashev, Reni Todashev, told Alex Jones on September 12 that the FBI and the U.S. government have stonewalled attempts to nd out what happened to her husband on May 22 of this year. We really dont have ofcial papers of what happened, she told Alex Jones, so there is not much we can do before our investigation. Ibragim, an acquaintance of deceased Boston bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, was killed by the FBI in Orlando, Florida, allegedly during an interrogation session related to the Boston bombing. Following his death, Abdulbaki Todashev, the executed mans father, said during a news conference in Russia that his son was killed by the FBI to keep him from talking. I want justice. I want an investigation, he said. They come to your house like bandits, and they shoot you. Maybe my son knew some sort of information that the police didnt want to get out, he added. They shut him up. Thats my opinion. The elder Todashev arrived in the United States in August determined to investigate his sons murder. Todashev speaks little English, cannot afford a lawyer, and has nothing more than a tourist visa to the United States, but the ACLU has vowed to help him, according to Russia Today. Todashev said he plans to sue the FBI for his sons death. Prior to Todashevs arrival in the U.S., an Islamic rights group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, led a formal complaint with the Department of Justice. The organization called for an independent, thorough, and transparent investigation into the circumstances surrounding Ibragims death. In July, Infowars.com reported that the FBI had barred a Florida medical examiner from publicly releasing autopsy information that would have shed light on the death of the 27-year-old. Reni Todashev admitted receiving justice for her husbands murder at the hands of the FBI will be difcult, but vowed to press the case in the United States. She said there is a prosecutor in Florida who wants to investigate the case. Alex said he believes Todashev was executed.They interviewed him for eight hours in the living room of his Orlando apartment, Jones said during the September 12 interview with Reni Todashev. Let me tell you what this is I know the standard procedure. You know what eight hours means, right? They got the info they wanted, and they executed him.

Mental Illness and the Global Elites Ongoing Anti-Second Amendment Agenda

ollowing last months Navy Yard shooting in Washington, D.C., the liberal intelligentsia gushed with predictable anti-Second Amendment effervescence. Mark Kelly, writing for the Christian Science Monitor, argued that more laws imposed on Americans who own guns (and are overwhelmingly non-violent) will somehow strengthen the Second Amendment. Kelly is the husband of Gabby Giffords, the former Arizona representative shot in the head by a mentally ill man, Jared Lee Loughner, in 2011. Giffords has become an unfortunate poster child for the gun-grabber crowd and is now routinely rolled out following mass shootings as the government ramps up its long-term effort to disarm the American people. Following the shooting in Connecticut, Obama harped on mental illness and its supposed link to gun violence. He said it was time to bring mental illness out of the shadows and

Obamas Telemundo remarks were an attempt to reinvigorate awed legislation that unceremoniously crashed and burned after Newtown. In March, the Senates neocon frontman, Lindsay Graham, tried to lead an uphill battle to get legislation enacted that would have imposed background checks on folks deemed mentally ill by the state. The NICS Reporting Improvement Act of 2013 would have also paved over claimed gaps in a standing law applicable to those who would lose their right to buy and carry guns based on a diagnosis of mental illness, including those involuntarily committed to a psychiatric hospital. Despite support by both Democrats and Republicans, the legislation was defeated and the Bill of Rights spared another humiliating mauling, at least temporarily. Undeterred, Graham added the provisions to a later Republican-backed gun bill that was also defeated in the Senate. Following the Navy Yard shooting, a Democrat from Hawaii, Senator Brian Schatz, said now is the time to do the right thing and revisit legislation. While legislation cant put an end to all violence, lawmakers must do what is right and close the gaping holes in our system in order to keep guns out of the hands of criminals and the severely mentally ill, he said. In March, Senator Feinstein opposed language proposed during a meeting of the Senate Judiciary that would have protected veterans from government attempts to render their Second Amendment right to own rearms inoperative. Feinstein told her colleagues she was determined to nd a way that veterans who are incapacitated for one reason or another mentally dont have access

to this kind of weapon, a reference to the dreaded AR-15 and related semiautomatic weapons demonized by the government and the establishment media. Feinsteins remarks stoked fears earlier expressed after the Department of Homeland Security under both Democrat and Republican presidents declared returning veterans to be a threat along with patriot groups and other assorted anti-government groups and individuals. Firearm regulation is slowly and quietly being turned over to the mental health professionals, Clinical Psychologist Dr. Dathan Paterno told World Net Daily in September. Congress doesnt have to pass more laws to restrict gun ownership. The laws are already on the books. If more people can be classied as mentally unstable and unable to own a rearm, fewer people will be able to legally own guns. This can be done without the passage of a single law. Dont be fooled by a lack of bills being sent through Congress, Paterno continued. Dianne Feinstein will be successful in restricting gun ownership whether she passes legislation or not. Order 16 specically claries that no federal law prevents health care providers from warning law enforcement authorities about threats of violence. Obama rolled out other largely

He signed an executive action a regulation that does not require legislative action by Congress outlawing antiquated World War II militarygrade weapons the United States sells or donates to allies from being brought back into the states by private entities. The government argued that 250,000 of these weapons have found their way back into the United States and a number of them have ended up on the street, although it is unlikely we will see outmoded M1 Garand carbines in the hands of drug gang enforcers. yman al-Zawahri, the leader of Jabhat alNusra, which is the primary opposition fighting force in Syria, has called for terror attacks inside the United States. Al-Zawahri just happens to be the leader of another group you might have heard of: al-Qaeda.
Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri urged smallscale attacks inside the United States to bleed America economically, adding he hoped eventually to see a more signicant strike, reports Reuters. We should bleed America economically by provoking it to continue in its massive expenditure on its security, for the weak point of America is its economy, which has already begun to stagger due to the military and security expenditure, al-Zawahri said. As the Bipartisan Policy Center highlighted in a report released mid-September, al-Zawahri took control of Jabhat al-Nusra when he personally intervened to settle a dispute between Jabhat al-Nusra and al-Qaeda in Iraq and declared the Syrian group to be under his direction. Jabhat al-Nusra, which according to reports is essential to the frontline operations of the rebels ghting to topple Assad and conducts the heaviest frontline ghting in Syria, publicly pledged allegiance to al-Qaeda earlier this year. Since then al-Qaeda, which had previously been on life support according to expert Peter Bergen, is now undergoing a process of revival and resuscitation by establishing a new foothold in Syria through Jabhat al-Nusra. Given that al-Qaeda head al-Zawahri is now the spiritual leader of the primary Syrian opposition group, its unsurprising that opposition militants sing the praises of his predecessor Osama bin Laden while glorifying the 9/11 attacks. What should be shocking to Americans is the fact that the Central Intelligence Agency is sending weapons to rebels who have pledged allegiance to Jabhat al-Nusra and are defecting in droves. This is a group responsible for killing U.S. troops in Iraq. Essentially, the CIA is arming a terrorist group which is directed by the head of al-Qaeda, who is simultaneously calling for terror attacks inside the United States and its all being conducted in plain view. Americans are seeing their tax dollars used to equip terrorists who are an integral part of the same ideology which led to the slaughter of 3,000 Americans in New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington 12 years ago. uring a speech at St. Johns Episcopal Church on September 15, former NSA and CIA director Michael Hayden advocated a move towards a Chinese-style world wide web where users are forced to identify themselves before posting online content. Comparing the Internet to the wild west and Somalia, Hayden indicated that he would like to see the United States adopt a system of web policing similar to that used in Communist China, where users are mandated to submit to real name registration before they can use services like Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter. The problem I have with the Internet is that its anonymous, remarked Hayden. Although the implementation of the real name registration system in China has been fraught with technical difculties, its ultimate intention is to prevent social network users from spreading rumors about the ruling Communist Party, or in other words, its all about crushing dissent against the state. Prominent micro-bloggers who attracted millions of followers as a result of criticizing the Chinese government are now being arrested and forced to confess their crimes as part of a return to a Mao-era style of justice, one that Michael Hayden apparently thinks America should adopt by following Chinas example of banning Internet anonymity. While defending mass NSA spying on the American public via the recently revealed PRISM program, Hayden also claimed that Gmail was the email

service of choice for terrorists. Gmail is the preferred Internet service provider of terrorists worldwide, he stated, presumably unaware that Gmail is merely an email service and not an ISP, adding, I dont think youre going to see that in a Google commercial, but its free, its ubiquitous, so of course it is. In reality, as a Bloomberg News report highlighted, the [NSA] surveillance systems are best suited for gathering information on lawabiding citizens, and not actual terrorists, who are extremely unlikely to use Gmail, Skype, or iCloud. The two women who lived in the room above, Carolyn Warren and Joan Taliaferro, called police twice, but ofcers never came to their aid. The two rapists nally discovered Warren and Taliaferro above and forced all three women to accompany them to Kents apartment, where the women were raped for 14 hours straight. The women later initiated Warren v. District of Columbia, a lawsuit against the city which alleged negligent failure to provide police protection. In a 43 decision, the court of appeals ruled against the women, stating that the police were under no specic legal duty to protect individuals. October 16, 1991 George Hennard drove his pick-up truck through the front window of a Lubys Cafeteria in Killeen, Texas, and proceeded to open re on 50 people, killing 23. Former Texas house member Suzanna Hupp survived the attack, but her parents did not. She later regretted that she left her handgun outside in her vehicle because she did not want to run afoul of the concealed carry laws at the time. May 27, 2010 Abraham Dickan, 79, showed up at an AT&T store in New York Mills, New York, with an employee kill list in one hand and a .357 magnum in the other. When Dickan red the rst shot, off-duty police ofcer Donald J. Moore drew his concealed rearm and killed Dickan. Only one employee was injured. March 25, 2012 Jesse Gates showed up at the Freewill Baptist Church in Boiling Springs, South Carolina, and aimed a shotgun at the pastor while he preached. Aaron Guyton, a CHL holder in the congregation, pulled his gun on Gates while the pastor took the shotgun away from him. No shots were fired and no one was injured. August 28, 2012 Robert Barron allegedly stabbed Teresa Barron multiple times after she dropped off her child off outside of a school in San Antonio, Texas. A CHL holder nearby pulled out his handgun and ordered Barron to drop the knife, which he did. December 11, 2012 Jacob Roberts killed two people and seriously wounded another at a shopping mall in Clackamas County, Oregon. A shopper at the mall, Nick Meli, pulled out his concealed handgun on Roberts, who then retreated. Meli never red a shot.

responsibility for the protection of his own life. In better understanding of the inalienable right that makes such defense possible, it is vital for the public to understand the Founders intent for the Second Amendment, which is routinely misunderstood by those unaware of the individual right to keep and bear arms. During the founding of our constitutional republic, a militia that was well-regulated meant that the citizens who comprised it were well-trained and wellrehearsed. The word regulated referred to the discipline practiced by those citizens, which had absolutely nothing to do with government involvement at all. A wellregulated militia was effective at defending the community without being authorized or controlled by the state. The Founding Fathers viewed the local militias, who successfully resisted the British Empire, as armed individuals who spontaneously organized in defense of their homes, their families, and their own

onservative watchdog group Judicial Watch recently obtained a Department of Defense training manual which lists people who embrace individual liberties and honor states rights, among other characteristics, as potential extremists who are likely to be members of hate groups. Marked for training purposes only, the documents, obtained August 22 through a Freedom of Information Act request submitted in April, include PowerPoint slides and lesson plans, among which is a January 2013 Air Force student guide distributed by the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute simply entitled Extremism.

Judicial Watchs FOIA request asked for Any and all records concerning, regarding, or related to the preparation and presentation of training materials on hate groups or hate crimes distributed or used by the Air Force. As the group notes, The document denes extremists as a person who advocates the use of force or violence; advocates supremacist causes based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or national origin; or otherwise engages to illegally deprive individuals or groups of their civil rights. The manual goes on to bar military personnel from active participation in such extremist organization activities as publicly demonstrating, rallying, fundraising, and organizing, basically denying active-duty military from exercising the rights they so ardently ght to defend. It begins its introduction of a section titled, Extremist Ideologies, by describing the American colonists who sought independence from British rule as a historical example of extremism. In U.S. history, there are many examples of extremist ideologies and movements. The colonists who sought to free themselves from British rule and the Confederate states who sought to secede from the Northern states are just two examples, according to the training guide. In a section drawing inspiration from a 1992 book titled Nazis, Communists, Klansmen, and Others on the Fringe: Political Extremism in America, the manual also lists Doomsday thinking under traits or behaviors that tend to represent the extremist style. Extremists often predict dire or catastrophic consequences from a situation or from a failure to follow a specic course, and they

tend to exhibit a kind of crisis-mindedness. It can be a Communist takeover, a Nazi revival, nuclear war, earthquakes, oods, or the wrath of God. Whatever it is, it is just around the corner unless we follow their program and listen to their special insight and wisdom, to which only the truly enlightened have access. For extremists, any setback or defeat is the beginning of the end. As Judicial Watch notes, although the documents were obtained through the Air Force, the fact that they originated in a DoD ofce means they have likely been distributed throughout the governments various agencies. resident Barack Obama accelerated rearm shipments to al-Qaeda on the very same day he demanded more gun control in the wake of the D.C. Navy Yard shooting. On September 16, Obama waived a provision in federal law specically designed to keep the U.S. government from supplying rearms to terrorists such as al-Qaeda, according to The Washington Examiner. Citing his authority under the Arms Export Control Act, the president declared that he would waive the prohibitions in sections 40 and 40A of the AECA related to such a transaction. No longer will Obama need to rely on the CIA to give free guns to Islamic extremists in Syria; now he will make the transfers openly with this transparent government initiative. On the same day as his overt approval for arms to al-Qaeda, Obama announced that he is drafting executive orders for more gun control. We have gone about implementing the executive actions that were part of the presidents plan to take action to reduce gun violence, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said after the Navy Yard shooting. Obviously, he continues to support measures taken by Congress that could be taken by Congress to reduce gun violence in a common-sense way, like improving our background-check system. In essence, Obama will act on his own to force rearm restrictions onto the American people, and if Congress would like to join him later, they are welcome to do so. He already has allies in Congress drooling to disarm

law-abiding citizens. When will enough be enough? asked Diane Feinstein, a Democratic Senator from California. Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country. We must do more to stop this endless loss of life. Yet contrary to that statement, Feinstein approves of Obamas plan for war in Syria, which would place the U.S. military on the side of the al-Qaeda rebels who are beheading Syrian Christians with cinder blocks and machetes. Obama is not content with the rebels only being armed with knives, however, as his administration prepares to further arm terrorists with automatic weapons, which he does not believe law-abiding citizens should own. Not even a week after the Navy Yard shooting, Obama told his supporters to go back at it and push for unconstitutional legislation that will disarm Americans. Federal agencies have already begun to dry up gun supplies in America with massive rearm and ammunition purchases which drive private gun owners out of the market. This is essentially back-door gun control. In a recent purchase, the Department of Defense bought millions of rounds of Soviet 7.62x39mm ammo and nearly 600,000 AK-47 magazines. AK-47s, which are chambered for the 7.62x39mm round, are commonly used by American gun owners, but not the American military. They are also used regularly by al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups around the world. In his effort to reduce violence, Obama is arming al-Qaeda extremists while disarming peaceful Americans.

Media Protection, Media Control: The Death of the Free Press

Alternative media journalists and bloggers who are not easily controlled by the state will be left isolated under the threat of forced disclosure.

n yet another attempt to kill free speech, the United States Congress is considering legislation that would allow the federal government unparalleled control over mass media and excessive authority to attack those critical of the state. Back in May, Representative Ted Poe, a Texas Republican, introduced the Free Flow of Information Act of 2013 (H.R. 1962), a bill intended to protect journalists from being forced to reveal their condential news sources to federal investigators except under specic circumstances. One of these circumstances includes harm to national security with the objective to prevent such harm. This bill effectively means little to journalists exposing unconstitutional abuses because federal entities could easily declare that classied leaks from condential sources harm national security. In essence, H.R. 1962 offers a stronger foothold for the federal government to attack whistleblowers such as Edward Snowden or former CIA agent Jeffrey Sterling. In a 21 ruling in July, the U.S. Court of Appeals ordered veteran New York Times journalist James Risen to testify whether Sterling leaked classied information to him regarding Operation Merlin, a covert CIA operation which delivered awed nuclear blueprints to the Iranians. Writing for the majority, Chief Judge Traxler said that there is no First Amendment testimonial privilege, absolute or qualied, that protects a reporter from being compelled to testify about criminal conduct and that the reporter must appear and give testimony just as every other citizen must. Back in May 2011, Attorney General Eric Holder approved a subpoena that demanded Risen conrm that his Operation Merlin source was in fact Sterling. Risen responded to the subpoena

by asserting that both the First Amendment and federal common-law reporters privilege protected him from forced testimony. A United States district court ruled partly in favor for Risen, stating that he had a qualied First Amendment reporters privilege that may be invoked when a subpoena either seeks information about condential sources or is issued to harass or intimidate the journalist. The U.S. Court of Appeals decision, however, reversed this ruling. In support of its decision, the appeals court referenced the 1972 Supreme Court case Branzburg v. Hayes which invalidated the First Amendment as a defense for journalists compelled to testify against their condential sources. Although Branzburg ruled against reporters privilege under the Press Clause of the First Amendment, Justice Byron White said that the federal government must convincingly show a substantial relation between the information sought and a subject of overriding and compelling state interest. But if enacted into law, H.R. 1962 could lessen the governments burden of showing overriding and compelling state interest by allowing the immediate claim of harm to national security. Journalists are being offered a watered-down federal shield law that deceptively increases the governments ease at which it can punish federal whistleblowers. Additionally, H.R. 1962 denes a journalist protected under the bill as a person engaged in journalism for nancial gain or livelihood and extends protection to the journalists supervisor, employer, parent, subsidiary, or afliate. The Senate version of this bill (S. 987) gives an even more rigid denition of a protected journalist as

someone who regularly gathers, prepares, collects, photographs, records, writes, edits, reports, or publishes on matters of local, national, or international events or other matters of public interest. These denitions seem to describe the profession rather than the practice of journalism. As Kurt Nimmo pointed out in an Infowars. com article on August 9, 2013, Senator Charles Schumer, a New York Democrat, doesnt want the bill, if enacted, to protect whistleblowers and others who drive out government corruption. The world has changed, Schumer said. Were very careful in this bill to distinguish journalists from those who shouldnt be protected, WikiLeaks and all those, and weve ensured that. He continued, But there are people who write and do real journalism, in different ways than were used to. They should not be excluded from this bill. If passed, the Free Flow of Information Act of 2013 would create an ofcial class of journalists the only class recognized and protected by the federal government. Protection will only be provided to preferred press members who follow, without question, the ofcial narrative which covers up the states sinister activities. They are free from prosecution as long as their stories support government lies. The current iteration of the Free Flow of Information Act only benefits controlled members of the mainstream media, not independent freelancers or non-salaried bloggers who are the spiritual successors of the citizen journalists that dominated the free press when James Madison wrote the First Amendment.

And thats really just the beginning. As millions will most likely continue through the Apple food chain and purchase this phone, the NSA and bloated federal government at large will be beyond ecstatic. Because after all, its a real dream come true for the Big Daddy government spy state. No longer will you actually need to be arrested to gather your ngerprints millions nationwide will willingly submit their biometrics to a database that most certainly is accessible by Apple and big government. But dont worry, the same company that has given away all of your chats and personal data through the NSAs top secret PRISM program says that youre perfectly safe. Security experts and high level tech analysts, however, seem to disagree. In addition to the fact that it seems consumer trust is all but dead in regards to Apple and its ties to the spying grid, it seems these safety features are actually quite vulnerable in reality, to the point now where hackers can access a massive database of ngerprints just waiting to be

taken and utilized fraudulently. Of course, Apple claims that the ngerprint scans will be local on your hardware, but the NSA and FBI would not let such a precious database go to waste. We already know that corporations are making big bucks spying on the data of consumers. So in the event that Apple is holding some of these ngerprints, despite what they say, a database of the ngerprints could be compromised. And I dont think encryption will stop much. The print is also used to verify app purchases, which leads me to believe that this at least would be stored through a third party. According to a security specialist on CNET: So can biometric authentication be hacked? Almost certainly. Im sure that someone with a good enough copy of your ngerprint and some rudimentary materials engineering capability or maybe just a good enough printer can authenticate his way into your iPhone The nal problem with biometric systems is the database. If the system is centralized, there will be a large database of biometric information thats vulnerable to hacking. As we inch towards a world in which our electronics are based around biometrics, it becomes an eerie reality that our Big Daddy, Big Brother system is continually holding our hands as we walk right into the current spy system that our overlords continue to assert does not exist.

These safety features are actually quite vulnerable in reality, to the point now where hackers can access a massive database of fingerprints just waiting to be taken and utilized fraudulently.

att Drudge was spot on this September. He called Senator Dianne Feinstein a fascist after she had the gall to dene who is and who is not a journalist. Feinstein and another Democrat, New York Senator Chuck Schumer, are pushing a bill that claims to shield journalists from the government. It received a thumbs up in the

Senate Judiciary Committee on a bipartisan vote. Feinstein and Schumer like to pretend the proposed law offers legal protections to journalists engaged in news-gathering activities, protections already afforded by the First Amendment. If the government decides, however, it has reasonable exceptions under national security, it will allow federal law enforcement to

compel information that would mitigate terrorist threats. In other words, the government will decide who is protected under the First Amendment and who is not. It will use violence to force testimony. This is normal behavior for government. It compels obedience at gun-point every day of the week. It hates the idea that you are sovereign and have the right to not testify, to remain silent. Conscription of witnesses is no more justied than conscription into the armed forces or into any other service or occupation. Freedom and individual rights must extend to all institutions and all branches of life, even into the judiciary, the heart of state power, said Murray Rothbard. The terrorism ruse will give the government all the pretext it needs to force journalists to testify, so Chuckie Schumers law is basically meaningless. The real purpose of this law is to allow the government to dene who is and who is not a journalist. Feinstein has made this abundantly clear. I cant support it if everyone who has a blog has a special privilege or if Edward Snowden were to sit down and write this stuff, he would have a privilege. Im not going to go there, she said. In order to make unbridled state power somewhat palatable, Feinstein, Schumer and the Senate Judiciary said it will allow freelancers, part-timers, and student journalists to practice the First Amendment.

A government judge, they decided, would be permitted to extend First Amendment protection to anybody engaged in legitimate news-gathering activities. Keep in mind the government will decide what is a legitimate news-gathering activity. Feinstein said a 17-year old blogger is not a journalist. Neither is Edward Snowden, or we must assume, Glenn Greenwald, the newspaper journalist who reported on Snowdens NSA revelations. The Los Angeles Times underscored the governments caveat: But the bill also makes it clear that the legal protection is not absolute. Federal ofcials still may compel disclosure from a journalist who has information that could stop or prevent crimes such as murder, kidnapping, or child abduction, or prevent acts of terrorism or signicant harm to national security. Its pretty obvious whats going on here. Like the Soviet Union and Red China, or any other authoritarian dictatorship, the state reserves the absolute right to determine who is a journalist and who is a 17-year old blogger. Thats why Matt Drudge called Feinstein a

fascist, because she assumes the authority to ofcially declare who is a journalist covered by the First Amendment and who is a criminal revealing national security secrets. Feinstein, Schumer, and the other minions and grocery clerks working for the state are determined to criminalize the alternative media and elevate the corporate media reading from government scripts. Its a dangerous situation for state power when millions of citizens no longer trust the establishment and prefer to get their news on the web. Its unacceptable that millions of people read Matt Drudges website instead of The New York Times and The Washington Post. Its unacceptable that Infowars.com is more popular than MSNBC. The government has to take out Matt Drudge and Alex Jones and anybody else who dares deviate from the ofcial script. Thats what the Media Shield Law is all about. Its an attempt by government to dene what is journalism and what is not. Feinstein and Schumer are preparing to wage war on the alternative media.

Fox News Demonizes Second Amendment Activist

Drivers Call 911 on Second Amendment Activist Because They Saw a Man With a Big Gun and Got Scared
olitical activist and second year law student, Nicholas Somberg, holds For Liberty Fridays in Lake Orion, Michigan, where he and his fellow patriots assemble in the name of liberty. On September 18, the patriots were gathered on Sombergs private property promoting liberty and the Second Amendment by waving signs that read Dont Tread on Me, Honk 4 Liberty, and End the Fed to passing trafc when police arrived. Somberg, 24, who was practicing his Second Amendment right by openly carrying a rie, which is legal under Michigan state law, was ordered by police to immediately put his weapon down. Dont point that rifle at me. I dont want this to be a bad situation, said the officer. A video taken of the confrontation clearly illustrates that at no point was the activist pointing the rifle at police, however, per the officers order, Somberg put the rifle down. Police then ordered the activist to move towards them, but Somberg, knowing his innocence, told the police to get off his property. As the 24-year old moves towards police, the sergeant said I dont want to shoot you, ok? The sergeant then asked him to step in front of the police vehicle, but Somberg pushed back, asking ofcers why he was being detained and what crime he had committed. Sgt. Stoner answered he was being detained for scaring people. According to My Fox Detroit, several people (all female callers) called 911 when they saw a man with a big gun and got scared. My Fox Detroit opened their report by immediately demonizing the proSecond Amendment activist and citing the Department of Homeland Security campaign, If you see something, say something. The local news station even makes the claim that some of Sombergs neighbors consider him a danger to society. Although he was the one with the rie, he says he was the one in the right, says the Fox news reporter. When citizens are concerned, it is their [polices] duty to do something about it. Then of course, like other liberal anti-gun pundits have done, the Oakland County Undersheriff Mike McCabe, capitalizes on the recent shooting at the Naval Sea Systems Command Headquarters when he told Fox News that because of the mass shooting, people need to put themselves into the perspective of the police ofcer. Deputies dont know if this guy is a Second Amendment rights person, McCabe said. If its somebody thats looking for confrontation. They dont know if hes mentally deranged. They dont know anything about him. We just had a deputy stabbed in Williamson county. We just had a trooper shot in the head. We just had the incident in Washington D.C. where a guy with a rie attacks people. One of the responding ofcers was a Washington D.C. police ofcer that was shot in addition to the 12 or 13 other people that were killed. Basically what the Undersheriff said was that because of the crime police face on a daily basis, Second Amendment supporters are to be treated like criminals. After creating the typical dramatic police scene by calling six police ofcers to respond and shutting down a busy street, Sgt. Stoner, unable to prove Somberg committed a crime, eventually returned Sombergs gun and vacated the premises. Somberg told Infowars before last weeks incident with the Oakland police that theyve had nothing but positive feedback. Lots of cars have been honking for liberty, and one police ofcer even stopped by and made a joke saying Youre not going to give me your ID, are you? Unfortunately, the local news didnt exactly portray the protests in a positive light. My Fox Detroit wrapped up their news report by making sure the public knows theres been 20 mass shootings since 1999. Once again, this is another example of how the establishment media fuels hoplophobia (the fear of armed citizens), when in reality, statistics show gun crime has decreased by 39 percent since 1993.

yearly national poll by the Newseum Institutes First Amendment Center shows that 34 percent of Americans believe the First Amendment goes too far in the rights it guarantees. That belief is up 13 percent compared to the results of the same survey conducted last year, the largest single-year increase since the center started the annual surveys in 1997. The First Amendment Center, based at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn., conducted the national survey of 1,006 American adults in May. Its unsettling to see a third of Americans view the First Amendment as providing too much liberty, First Amendment Center President Ken Paulson said. This underscores the need for more First Amendment education. If we truly understand the essential role of these freedoms in a democracy, were more likely to protect them. For reference, the text of the First Amendment reads: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. When the poll respondents were asked to name the ve specic rights guaranteed by the First Amendment, only the freedom of speech was named by the majority at 59 percent. Less than a quarter of the respondents, 24 percent, named freedom of religion; 14 percent recalled the freedom of the press; 11 percent remembered the freedom of peaceful assembly; and only 4 percent knew of their guaranteed freedom

to petition the government. 36 percent of respondents could not name any of the ve specic rights listed in the First Amendment. The survey also asked respondents other related questions. 31 percent agreed that musicians should not be allowed to sing songs with lyrics that might offend others. 44 percent favor court orders requiring journalists to give up their news sources. 80 percent agreed that the news media act as an independent watch dog over government on behalf of the people. Americans remain generally supportive of First Amendment freedoms, Newseum Institute CEO Gene Policinski said. But the inability of most to even name the freedoms, combined with the increase of those who think the freedoms go too far, shows how quickly that support can erode. As a nation, we must better prepare our fellow and future citizens for the hard decision of defending core freedoms against those who would damage or limit them by violence or by law. Unfortunately our core freedoms are already under attack. Infowars.com reported in June that police arrested a San Diego man, Jeff Olsen, for writing anti-bank messages in washable chalk on a public sidewalk. Olsen said the messages he wrote, such as Shame on Bank of America, never used profanity. In 2010, media analyst and political activist Mark Dice even convinced people to sign a petition repealing the First Amendment. He followed up with even more satire this summer when he asked beach goers to sign a petition banning Christian symbols from public view. The First Amendment Center conducts the yearly surveys to gauge the publics opinions and knowledge on issues affecting

the First Amendment. The sampling error for this years survey is +/- 3.2% at the 95% condence level, meaning that when sampling another group of Americans using the same methodology, there is only a 1 in 20 chance the results would differ by more than 3.2% in either direction. The Newseum Insitute operates a 250,000 square foot museum of news and journalism history, aptly called the Newseum, in Washington, D.C.

Recent studies show 7 in 10 Americans are taking at least one prescription drug, while half are prescribed to two or more prescription medications. A research report conducted by the Mayo Clinic shows antidepressants, antibiotics, and painkiller opiates as the most commonly consumed prescription drug. More than 20 percent of Americans are consuming ve or more different prescription drugs. Shooting suspect Aaron Alexis allegedly opened re inside the Navy Sea Command Headquarters building in Washington D.C. on September 16, killing 12 people and eventually losing his own life after police shot him. The 34-year old, a retired Navy reservist, was employed with a company called The Experts, a Hewlett-Packard subcontractor. His company was in charge of updating and installing computer systems at Navy and Marine Corps worldwide. His position granted him a secret security clearance which enabled him access to the Navy Yard, specically building #197, where he allegedly carried out the mass shooting. After news broke revealing the suspects identity, information immediately began ooding the web. News stories lled with random details, disclosing that he claimed to have suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder brought on from saving victims on the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001. Just overnight, the media was able to obtain numerous interviews from people who say they knew Alexis, providing information on the suspect, and the mental state he was in before allegedly carrying out the shooting. Media outlets provided information on

Alexis religious background, family members, and run-ins with the law, including two incidents in which he red off a weapon, once through a neighbors ceiling and other at a co-workers vehicle, blowing out the tires. Just 24 hours later, information regarding his mental health began ooding the web. Despite reports Alexis was hearing voices that he believed were people sending vibrations to his body via a microwave machine, mainstream media blatantly avoided the topic of what prescription drugs he might have been on, and what role that could have possibly played in the shooting rampage. Infowars continued to follow the story waiting for information to break on what, if any, prescription drugs Alexis might have been on. Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, initially intended to avoid covering the story, but later came out with an article pointing to the Associated Press conrmation that Alexis had been treated since August by the Veterans Administration for his mental problems. Adams immediately connected his treatment to the likelihood Alexis was on psychiatric drugs because thats the only treatment currently being offered by the Veterans Administration for mental problems, wrote Adams. Just one month before the shooting rampage, Alexis reportedly called police while staying in a hotel in Rhode Island and complained to ofcers that he changed hotels three times because he was being pursued by people keeping him awake by sending vibrations through the walls, reported The New York Times. According to the Times report, Alexis told police he argued with somebody at a Virginia airport who then sent three people after him that were using a microwave machine to harass him. Alexis said he heard voices speaking to him through the wall, oor, and ceiling. During his latest encounter with police, Alexis admitted he was treated twice in the last month by the VA hospitals psychiatric unit, complaining of insomnia.

Ofcials conrm Alexis was prescribed Trazodone, a generic antidepressant, to treat his insomnia. Rhode Island police followed standard procedure by faxing Alexis police report to the Navy, but the Navy failed to act. An article by The Washington Post not only downplayed the harmful effects of the drug, but called it very safe. A practicing psychiatrist in Miami said doctors typically use the drug to help people sleep, and prefer that drug over others because its safer than other sleep medicines. Infowars writer Paul Joseph Watson illustrated numerous examples of Trazodone linking to a number of murders, including one mass shooting. Trazodone is sold under several different brand names, including Desyrel, Oleptro, Benecat, Deprax, Desirel, Molipaxin, Thombran, Trazorel, Trialodine, Trittico, and Mesyrel. Although not strictly a member of the SSRI class of antidepressants, Watson wrote, it shares many of the same properties and also serves to increase the amount of serotonin in the brain. Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, or SSRIs, are used to correct low levels of serotonin in the brain. Dr. Josh Axe, creator of one of the top natural health websites in the world, believes psychotropic drugs are far more harmful than benecial. Psychotropic drugs affect your mood, behavior, and perception by changing the way your brain functions, says Dr. Axe. The drugs mainly target the central nervous system by leaving the blood and entering the brain.

Research shows psychotropic drugs can cause very serious side effects, such as weight gain, suicidal thoughts in children and teenagers, heart disease, miscarriages, and even diabetes. Reports show that in 2008 nearly 65,000 people committed suicide while taking SSRIs. The primary side effect of SSRIs is an increased risk in suicide. This was known back in the 80s, yet the drugs were still released onto the market. Even the White Houses own website acknowledges prescription drug abuse as an epidemic. Watson notes the establishment media has been loathe to make the connection between Alexis rampage and anti-depressants, despite hundreds of other cases of suicides, murders, and mass shootings linked to psychiatric drugs. This doesnt come a huge surprise considering Big Pharma rakes in $280 billion a year from selling consumers prescription drugs. In 2012, the 11 largest pharmaceutical companies combined made $85 billion. With Americans killing themselves at unprecedented rates, and conrmation that nearly every mass shooter suspect was on some type of SSRIs, youd think government or the pharmaceutical industry would re-examine their measures. However, instead, Big Pharma is spending tens of billions of dollars marketing their drugs in the U.S. alone.

Pentagon Engaging in Domestic Propaganda Is Now Normal

War on the First Amendment and the Freedom of the Press Accelerates

emember the good old days when you could peruse a newspaper and not have to worry about reading between the lines? Neither do I. Thats because long before I was born, governments had already gured out radio and television were powerful tools of controlling information. Governments throughout the world have long engaged in using these media tools to manipulate the masses, whether that meant rallying them in favor of a war, demonizing certain political opponents, or simply manipulating people to want to buy, or abstain from buying, a product. With the proliferation of the Internet, governments media manipulation abilities have been drastically thrown into a tailspin. Anybody with a cell phone, camera, or blog can now document real news in real time, setting the barrier into the news world lower than ever before. Anyone who creates news in this fashion should be considered a citizen journalist. By this new denition, these novel journalists, as well as their sources, should be afforded the protections put forth in the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. However, the sun is seemingly beginning to set on what we all thought would be a long, meaningful relationship with the alternative press. With last months admission by California Senator Dianne Feinstein that the federal government would now be involved in dening real journalists, plus the fact the Department of Defense announced last July it would begin efforts to reach out to inuential bloggers (in other words, persuade them with money), it can be expected the independent news and alternative points of view weve come to enjoy might soon be compromised.

Operation Mockingbird The best example of the government reaching out to media in order to inuence the public is the CIAs covert Operation Mockingbird program, by which the CIA actively sought and recruited American journalists to push progovernment stories and views. Operation Mockingbird recruited American journalists, published magazines as fronts, and funded college organizations in an enormous undertaking. Journalists wrote news stories based on CIA-written press releases and were bribed to write with a particular slant. As other writers would cite the original stories, the CIA lies easily propagated throughout the news without any indication of their true origins, Kit Daniels explained in the August issue of Infowars Magazine in an article entitled, Media Spin: The Ins & Outs of Propaganda. The program was allowed to come into fruition after passage of the Smith-Mundt Act in 1948, which authorized the State Department to unleash a tidal wave of propaganda outside the United States while supposedly forbidding its dissemination inside the country, Infowars Editor Kurt Nimmo wrote in July. The law set the stage for Frank Wisner, who headed up the CIAs covert action division in the early 1950s, to build his Mighty Wurlitzer, described by none other than The New York Times as the means for orchestrating, in almost any language anywhere in the world, whatever tune the CIA was in the mood to hear. Despite the promise of the Smith-Mundt Act that a rewall stands between foreign and domestic propaganda the CIA, the bastard child of Wall Street lawyers, has never honored its charter (prohibiting domestic operation)

and has consistently utilized the corporate media as a propaganda machine, Nimmo wrote, explaining that Freedom of Information Act documents revealed the CIA secretly had important assets working inside The New York Times, CBS, Time Inc., and virtually every other major news organization across the country. CIA Given Green Light to Openly Propagandize On July 2 of this year, the CIAs moratorium on its ability to propagandize domestic news agencies ofcially expired. The Smith-Mundt Act was always a lip service bill, anyway. Anyone with a shred of perspicacity knows the agency never obeyed this law. With passage of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, passed as part of the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, the law which at one time prohibited the CIA from engaging the domestic press has been revamped to authorize the domestic dissemination of information and material about the United States intended primarily for foreign audiences, and for other purposes, according to the bill. This will only hasten the death of free speech. The fact they have openly announced their intentions means they are ready to march full speed ahead towards

the dissolution of the Constitutional ideals that members of the press are protected by and hold so dear. Feinstein and Schumers Attack on the Journalists Notorious gun-grabbing California Senator Dianne Feinstein has been on a crusade to rid the world of alternative and independent news sources. Ever since Infowars exposed the Boston Marathon Bombings as a staged, false-ag event, not to mention the various leaks spread by Wikileaks and NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, Feinstein and other politicians have tried their damnedest to make it difcult for news outlets to keep their sources condential. Feinstein and New York Senator Chuck Schumer, along with Senator Patrick Leahy, have desperately tried to clamp down on the alternative press by attempting to pass, for the third time, a shield law for journalists. The Shield law, as currently written, says The bill denes a journalist as a person who has a primary intent to investigate events and procure material in order to inform the public by regularly gathering information through interviews and observations. The bill also notes that The person

also must intend to report on the news at the start of obtaining any protected information and must plan to publish that news, a chilling addition that seems included only to ferret out the valuable sources who give journalists leads and tips and who havent the means to publish their ndings. Im concerned this would provide special privilege to those who are not reporters at all, Feinstein said during debate of the bill. In August, Feinstein stated she believed a journalist could be dened by whether or not that person drew a salary or not. Schumer approached the debate slightly more levelheaded. The world has changed. Were very careful in this bill to distinguish journalists from those who shouldnt be protected, WikiLeaks and all those, and weve ensured that, Schumer said. But there are people who write and do real journalism, in different ways than were used to. They should not be excluded from this bill. Department of Defense Announced Intent to Infiltrate Alternative Media and Bloggers This past July, the Director of Public Affairs George Little held a public Department of Defense press conference in which he told his public affairs staffers they would not only need to start coming coming clean on their bad news stories (When bad things happen, the American people should hear it from us, not as a scoop on the Drudge Report), but that they would also need to begin inltrating the alternative press starting with inuential independent bloggers. We can no longer rely on relationships with a handful of journalists, Little said, adding We must constantly be listening for new voices on defense issues and develop those relationships as well, referring to the evolving media landscape which has come to embrace social media outlets, such as Twitter and Facebook, as legitimate reporting formats. A new blogger might end up being more inuential than traditional outlets in some

cases. If were not talking to him or her, we are missing a potential opportunity to inform the American people. Littles message was ill-received by his staffers who were already visibly exhausted from pushing what one Air Force junior enlistee deemed mindless propaganda. I dont think the American people actually trust us to deliver accurate information, Staff Sgt. Hostutler accurately asserted, saying that putting positive spin on news stories was wearing out the Pentagons public affairs staff, in addition to the American people. Is there a plan to kind of change the way that we think? she asked, because as it is, a lot of people, from what I can see, are going through, Were putting out mindless propaganda, is what some of us feel that were putting out, and what the American people feel that were putting out, so how do we change this? Time to Stand for the First Amendment and Journalists The American Internet wont probably anytime soon be regulated to the extent that Chinas is, which only allows access to certain websites that the government deems appropriate. However, the federal government and anti-Constitution politicians frantically want the next best thing by taking over the peoples sources of news. As Matt Drudge, editor of DrudgeReport. com, recently tweeted, 17-year old bloggers are now just as important as CNNs Wolf Blitzer. Indeed, the time has come where we have to ask ourselves if we will let the rights of our hard-working investigative journalists and their bombshell reports go quietly into the night or if well instead stand up to the powers that aim to rid the world of these valuable sources of information. U.S. Military: al-Qaeda Rebels Produced Sarin Gas for Chemical Attacks in Syria
Further Evidence That the August 21 Chemical Attack Was a False Flag to Frame Assad
leaked U.S. military document reveals that al-Qaeda possessed and produced kitchen-grade sarin gas for chemical attacks against the Syrian people, further adding to the evidence that the al-Qaeda Syrian opposition launched the August 21 chemical attack in Damascus as a false ag in order to frame Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. In May, Turkish anti-terror police conscated a two-kilogram cylinder of sarin gas from members of the Jabhat alNusra Front based in Southern Turkey near the Syrian border, according to a classied report obtained by World News Daily. The National Ground Intelligence Center report states that al-Qaeda in Iraq produced the sarin gas and then shipped it to the al-Nusra Front for use in Syria. Two months prior to the conscation, 26 people and Syrian government forces died from exposure to sarin gas delivered in a rocket attack on Aleppo, a city in the northwestern region of Syria near the Turkish border. The rocket came from a place controlled by the terrorists and which is located close to the Turkish territory, according to a Syrian government statement in response to the attack. One can assume that the weapon came from Turkey. The document also describes the sarin seized in Turkey as not being military grade but rather a kitchen variety, which corresponds to the sarin gas used in the August 21 chemical attack near Damascus, according to Dr. Yossef Bodansky, a top terrorism expert. Bodansky said that unlike military grade sarin, the sarin used in the Damascus attack

did not accumulate around the victims hair and clothing. If it did, said Bodansky, the sarin molecules would have detached from the victims and killed or injured the rst responders who touched the victims bodies without protective clothes and masks. Yet there were no reported casualties among the rst responders to the attack, none of whom were wearing adequate protective gear. High-level U.S. intelligence ofcials reinforce Bodanskys conclusion, stating that they are not convinced that the August 21 chemical attack was carried out per Assads orders or that it was even carried out by Assads government. They are not even sure that Assad knew about the attack beforehand. Intercepted Syrian military communications reveal that after the August 21 attack, the Syrian general staff were in a complete panic thinking that their 155th Brigade launched an unauthorized chemical strike in deance of prior orders not to do so. This led to Syrian intelligence interrogating the major in charge of the brigade for three days, who adamantly denied ring any missiles and encouraged the general staff to count his weapons inventory. All of the brigades missiles were accounted for. Pierre Piccinin da Prata, a Belgium writer who was kidnapped by the al-Nusra Front, said that during his captivity he overheard his rebel captors admit that they carried out the August 21 chemical attack as a false ag in order to lure the United States into the conict to help al-Qaeda topple Assad. The government of Bashar al-Assad did not use sarin gas or other types of gas in the outskirts of Damascus, Piccinin said during

an interview with a Belgium radio station. Secluded from the outside world after being kidnapped, he only learned about the attack straight from his captors. While the Obama administration continues to push our military into entering Syria as alQaedas air force, ghting alongside Islamic extremists recruited and armed by the CIA, the evidence strongly points to the al-Nusra Front, designated by the U.S. as a terrorist organization, as responsible for the August 21 chemical attack.
