A  MESSAGE  FROM  DANA  YORMARK,  CHAIRMAN  OF  THE  
NCECE  BOARD  
The  start  of  the  school  year  is  always  a  time  of  hope  and  promise.  To  our  
newest  families,  we  welcome  you  to  Congregation  B’nai  Israel’s  Nadel  
Center  for  Early  Childhood  Education  (NCECE)!  We  hope  your  time  here  
provides  opportunities  for  great  personal  and  intellectual  growth  for  both  
you  and  your  children.  To  our  returning  families,  welcome  back  for  
another  wonderful  year.  To  everyone,  welcome  home!  
Celebrate  Sukkot!   Our  tradition  gives  us  “markers”  of  time  to  make  us  think  about  our  lives

BREAKFAST  FUN!  
Author/illustrator  Mo  Willems  began  his  career  as  a  writer  and  
animator  for  Sesame  Street.  He  has  also  worked  for  The  Cartoon   Monday,  October  26  
Network  and  Nickelodeon.  His  crazy  sense  of  humor  and   11:00am  in  the  Yormark  North  
movement-­‐filled  drawing  style  shine  through  in  his  books!  Mo   Social  Hall  
writes  picture  books  and  “easy  readers”  for  kids  just  learning  to    
read.  His  most  famous  books  are  the  picture  books  about  The   Join  Mickey  and  Minnie  (and  a  
Pigeon  and  his  easy  readers  about  Elephant  and  Piggie.  His  two   surprise  friend!)  for  brunch,  face

I  am  very  fortunate  to  know  many  talented  
children’s  artists  from  around  the  world.  I  
consider  Peter  and  Ellen  Allard  the  masters  of  
children’s  music.  We  sing  many  of  their  songs  
in  our  school.    “Hello  Everybody,”  “Shabbas  is  
Here,”  and  “Shofar  Blast”  are  just  a  few.  Peter  
and  Ellen  travel  the  country  and  the  world
