Course Description:

Microbiology—the study of microorganisms—is a fascinating course, and is considered as an advanced biology course since it is designed
to establish a direct and pleasing connection among ourselves and the nature. This will provide the student with vital microbiology information
that will enable them to carry out their duties in an informed, safe, and efficient manner. The subject will be focusing on the importance of
microorganisms in everyday living, the student will become knowledgeable about the aspect of antibiotics and anti-microbial agents,
epidemiology and public health, hospital-acquired infections, infection control, how microorganisms can cause disease, how our bodies can
protect us from pathogens and infectious diseases, and the major viral, bacterial, fungal, and parasitic diseases of humans.
