network performance, availability and customer satis faction. - Perform (availability and performance) the configuration changes activities an d duties for entire network using the network Management tools. - Perform the NOC tasks and duties in accordance with the predefined KPIs, metho ds and procedures. - Handling customer complaints as level three with coordination with customer op erations. - Continuous and effective coordination and follow-up with other teams respect a ll network/customers activities (Customer operations, maintenance, engineering, etc). - Perform Fault localization and troubleshooting. The Role The ideal candidate will be responsible to perform technical assistance to exist ing broadband customers, systems and network operation monitoring. The candidate will be reporting to the NOC Manager in our 24x7 Network Operation Centre (NOC) in Dubai. Requirements Degree holder of IT, EE or related discipline. Preferable experience in network planning/support. Team player with position attitude and dedication. Good communication skills in English. Multitasking and able to work under pressure. Willing to work on shift duty. Knowledge of LAN/WAN environments and Internet related infrastructure. Hands-on experience in configuring Cisco routers and switches. Experience in planning of IP Network with thorough understanding of TCP/IP. Experience in maintaining IP network and data center facilities; Supporting BGP and other IP based routing protocols. Preferable knowledge in H.323 and sip protocols. Preferable experience in satellite communication. Preferable knowledge of DVB/TDMA, Multimedia and Video Streaming services over I P. An NOC engineer supervises the functioning of network components and makes sure that they are active and problem free. An NOC engineer by the application of essential software application and hardwar e tools detects and identifies the nature of the problem and uses proper precaut ions to solve the problem. An NOC engineer takes network problem complaints from the users, analyzes them a nd depending on the difficulty of the problem, either seeks help or solves them himself. An NOC engineer takes the help of technical experts from the organization or fro m outside (if required) to solve a problem. An NOC engineer is accountable for managing complaints and ensuring that they ar e resolved. An NOC engineer finishes the work according to policies of the company. An NOC engineer maintains a detailed record of the problems and methods used to solve it. An NOC engineer maintains network facilities for continuous performance. An NOC engineer synchronizes with technical staff to design and create new softw are applications for supervising network performance and operations. An NOC engineer carries out inspections on regular basis on network performance and prepares final reports for management.
