In all the occasions the word Parampara is included . When we speak about parampara first comes is Guru Parampara Our Gurus in the plural form refers to all the GURUS. It is not for mere one person. We can worship the idols of all the gurus in Kanchi Kamatchi temple, near Achyara sanadhi. According to Bhagavad Gita , Knowledge is transferred from one generation to other generation. All the Rajarishis know everything. Presently, Raja has no strength and also the rishis need more strength. People in Sirupuri, (village in Bengal near Calcutta) Rs. Love, kindness and strictness were followed by all the gurus. Every family was a Gurukulam.

In Malayalam, Namboodri explained how the teaching was done in olden days. Students were given food and good education together in the garden. In every family, people grow as they grow in gurukulam. Also they develop skills in all the shastras and rituals. Also people work for their growth. People work in the agricultural fields or work as a teacher or any business. Somedays agriculture is an important work or some days the job of lawyer or some times doctors play an important role. But for the Brahmins the main important job are shiva pooja and sandhya vandhanam. Thereby satisfying devatha, Rishi and pithru devatha. They worship devatha by doing some poojas. Also get blessings of pithru devatha by performing some rituals. They get blessing of rishis also. Getting the blessings of Devatha, Rishis and Pithru devatha are also the three important rituals to get the knowledge. Our ancestors made a beautiful system to perform all these rituals. We have so many sacred rituals from child birth. Like that all the Brahmins have forty rituals including yagnas. Four dharmas of Brahmins : - Bramacharya ( The Brahmin boy after performing upanayanam -thread function), Grahasta (after marriage), Vanaprasta (after getting the children) and sanyasa ( undergoing sanyasa dharma). Even some people take sanyasa dharma in the young age itself. Next we have important three margams, namely bhakthi margam, gyana margam and karma margam. Man should perform sandhya vandhanam and also sing the kirtans of GOD ( Bhagavan nama). This will help the man to practice how to keep his mind calm. By performing Sravana, manana and idithyasu. Gyanamargam should be familiarized by man. We should not leave karma. But karma should leave us. Achrya went to the house of Mandamishrar, the great vidvan and scholar. (A man in dhyana margam ) To identify the house of Mandamishrar, people used to say it was the place where even the parrots knows the shastras.

Our country Bharatham has the beautify heritage, music, devotion, knowledge and meditation. The place of dharma Bharatham. Bharatha boomi, the boomi of dharmas. Some people get many opportunities and time for their growth. Holy rivers of Bharat Ganga, Yamuna, Godhavari, Narmada, Sind ( now not in our country, belong to our neighbor country) and Cauvery. The holy river Cauvery starts from Karnataka and it joins with the sea in the place Poompuhar. In the tamil three letters of the word KA VE RI, we have the following meaning. KA All the sins will go from us. VE All our good wishes will be given RI to get salvation. KAVERI is one of the seven holy rivers of Bharat. (INDIA). So many holy places of GOD situated in the banks of this river KAVERI like Srirangam, Jambulineshwar etc., Many Scholars, well versed in Shastra, tharka and vedant belong to our country Bharat. All the famous kings of Chola like Rajarajan, Rajendran and Sivapathasekaran built many temples here in this region. Near by Thanjavur, we have six holy places which are equivalent to Kasi. They are Thiruvengadu, Thiruviyaru, Gowri mayuram, Thiruvidimarudhur, Srivanchiyam and Chayavanam near Poompuhar. Here only all the sixty four cultures were developed. It is such a wonderful place with heritage and culture. In this place only, our ancestors had done sincere dedicated and devoted service to mankind to improve them and bless them to do all the good deeds. Here Ambal refers to shradha (concentration) and Swami refers to loyalty (Vishwasam). All should do all the good things with concentration and belief. They should not do just like that. Do with full concentration and involvement. Our ancestors performed pooja and did many good things with full concentration for the

happiness of the people. It is special that we relate to this place. Parampara is the good place Our future generation should know something about the heritage and culture of Gyana parampara, Vedanta parampara and thapas parampara. We can develop this PARAMPARA with full dedication, concentration and efforts. We should have faith in the dedication and devotion in our traditional practices. It helps us to improve in all ways. We should save our yogas and culture of our place. We get the blessings of Lord Yogeshwarar. Here in the sloka of Gita Yogeshwara indicates the God Yogeshwarar Chandramouliswarar. ( Yoga lingam) Parampara means just the lineage (vamsam). Value system (dharmeekam) also involved in this.
