LEAVE POLICY It is the policy of Chekkerz Private Limited to provide leave facility to its employees; to attend to their personal

work, contingencies and for rejuvenation. ll confirmed employees are entitled to leave, according to the rules and regulations stated !elow" Casual Leave Casual Leave is meant to meet urgent and#or unforeseen circumstances. Prior approval of the $epartmental %ead has to !e o!tained whenever possi!le, stating the reason for leave. In case of emergencies, leave must !e su!mitted the day the employee resumes duty. &ntitlement Period ccumulation &ncashment Rules & Regulations: iii&very employee shall !e entitled for a total of '( days Casual Leave in a calendar year. In case of new employees the num!er of days entitlement during the first calendar year shall !e as follows" a.or those joining service !etween )anuary ' to )une +( * '( days !.or those joining service !etween )uly ' to $ecem!er +' * / days CL can not !e com!ined with any other leave. 0undays, holidays or any other weekly rest days falling !efore or after the CL shall not !e counted as leave. ny holiday that falls !etween two CLs will !e counted as CL too. ny unutilised CL standing to the credit of the employee as at the end of any calendar year shall lapse and will not !e carried forward to the ne1t calendar year. 5edical Certificate" 6e7uired from a registered 5edical Practitioner for medical leave in e1cess of 8 days. Rules & Regulation: '. 9ne day 0.L can !e counted as C.L its depend on discretion of the 5anagement.In all cases of sick leave for more than 8 days, medical certificate from a 6egistered 5edical practitioner will !e re7uired. 8. In all cases of sick leave for more than one week the employee will !e re7uired to produce the .itness Certificate while resuming duty. If such a certificate is not produced the employee will not !e allowed to resume duty. +. If an employee falls sick for a long period and if applies for leave, his a!sence will !e adjusted against the sick leave due to him. If no sick leave is due to him, his a!sence shall !e treated as leave without pay, or shall !e adjusted against Privilege leave 5anagement. 4. :hen a medical certificate#fitness certificate from a 6egistered 5edical Practitioner will !e su!mitted, the Company reserves the right to get the employee medically e1amined !y its own $octor as and when the Company deems fit to ascertain the genuineness of the sickness. ;. 2he Company will reject the medical certificate if it reasona!ly appears to !e counterfeit or o!tained under false prete1t. /. If all sick leaves are availed, the ne1t sick leave will either !e treated as Leave without pay or adjusted against due Privilege Leave. Procedure for CL & Sick Leave: i.or availing Casual Leave, Leave application should !e su!mitted to %uman 6esources < iiiiidministration department who will forward the application to Immediate 0upervisor of the applicant after mentioning the !alances on the prescri!ed form. CL application must !e su!mitted immediately on resuming duty, in the prescri!ed format. If CL in case of sickness is more than 8 days, it should !e supported !y 5edical certificate and .itness certificate of a =ualified $octor or 6egistered 5edical Practitioner. if due or leave can !e refused at the sole discretion of the

In case the management so desires the company may get the employee medically e1amined !y their own $octor to determine the fitness of the employee when he resumes duty after sickness. 2he %ead of $epartment shall sanction CL. 2he %uman department shall !e responsi!le for the whole process and record keeping. Leave application should !e su!mitted to %uman 6esources < dministration department who will forward the application to Immediate 0upervisor of the applicant after mentioning the !alances on the prescri!ed form. 2he C&9 # ?5 should !e kept informed a!out these things.

.or taking PL, an employee shall apply on the prescri!ed form, 4 weeks in advance. Leave application forms are kept with the %uman 6esources $epartment. 2he management holds complete discretion in terms of granting such leave and also for the period of time, such leave may !e granted.

Rules Regulations: iii&mployees are entitled to 8' days PL for every year of regular attendance. ,ew employees will not !e a!le to take any PLs during the first si1 months of their service in the company, though the same will accrue to him and !e credited to his account at the end of the / months period.

0undays 3or the weekly rest day- and holidays falling !efore or after the PL shall not !e counted as PL. 2he intervening 0undays 3weekly rest days- and holidays shall !e counted as PL. &mployees can encash their PL provided until < unless they have not /+ days accumulated leave in their account. &mployees can encash a ma1imum of 8' days of PL at one time. &ncashment shall !e done on the !asis of !asic salary only. 5oney received against the encashed PL shall !e ta1a!le as per the Income 2a1 laws applica!le. PL would !e accumulated over < a!ove up to a ma1imum /+ days. PRO&A'IO"ARY E(PLOYEES: $uring the pro!ationary period, there will !e no entitlement of any kind of leave, !e it Casual Leave, 0ick Leave, Privilege Leave etc. or any other kind of leave for any employee. 0ick Leave, if re7uired, will !e approved as a very special case only if supported !y a 5edical Certificate from a registered medical practitioner. ny other leave if availed will !e treated as without pay.

MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE Polic): re7uest for maternity leave of a!sence will !e considered on the same !asis as other re7uest for leave. Procedure: *+ Re,orting ,regnanc) to e-,lo)er s soon as the female employee>attending physician confirms the pregnancy, the employee should inform the %uman 6esources < dmin. $epartment along with a physician certificate of e1plaining work restriction if any, should give a reasona!le time frame as to the latest date as prescri!ed !y the physician to allow the employee to work. .+ (aternit) Leave of A/sence a. pregnant employee may continue to work until such time as her physician feels that continued performance of her responsi!ilities will endanger her health. !. 5aternity leave of a!sence will !e granted upto + months 38 months with pay and ' month without pay- i.e. prefera!ly / weeks !efore the delivery and / weeks

after the delivery. In any such case privilege leave not availed for that current year, the remaining one month of L:P can !e adjusted accordingly. c. 5aternity leave of a!sence will !e granted twice during the employment.

Returning fro- Leave a. @pon delivery the employee should inform the %uman 6esources < dmin. $epartment of her availa!ility to return to work along with physicians certificate. !. If the employee does not return to work upon e1piration of her maternity leave and certification !y her attending physician that she is physically and mentally capa!le to work, employment will !e deemed to have terminated without notice. S$OR' LEAVE 2his facility will only !e provided to the employees to meet such type of emergency, which cannot !e foreseen and comes to the knowledge of an employee while at work. 2he period of such leave will not !e more than 8 hours at one occasion. 2he immediate supervisor will !e the sole judge to determine the nature of emergency and the period of leave. 2he facility should !e used in strict emergency conditions. ny a!sence more than the period actually granted would !e counted half>day casual leave
