NOTICE
7th January 2014
SUBJECT: PGDM 2012 14: TRIMESTER VI: SPECIALISATION PROJECT
1. The course curriculum of PGDM 2012-14 Trimester VI includes a full credit (100 marks) subject
titled Specialization Project. Accordingly, every student is required to complete and submit a
specialization project with ADC latest by 7th March, 2014.
2. Specialization wise list faculty of Project Guides to students along with their contact details are
given in Appendix A. Students will choose their own faculty guide matching to their specialization.
Each faculty shall guide number of students as indicated in the faculty guide list on first cum first
basis.
3. Each student is required to select an independent project and prepare a project synopsis on the
synopsis format given in appendix B below. Students have to download the synopsis form from
online. Students will approach their respective Faculty Guides along with three copies of synopsis
for approval of the Project and the Synopsis. On approval and signature on the synopsis by the
Faculty Guide, first copy of the synopsis will be handed over to the faculty guide, second copy will
be retained by the student and third copy will be handed over to the Program Coordinator in ADC
(Ms Rutuja Deshmukh) latest by closing hours on 7th February 2014.
Every student has to do this project individually .Group project are strictly prohibited.
4. Students who fail to submit their synopsis with the Program Coordinator in ADC by 7th February
2014 will be assigned projects by the institute and the decision of the Institute in this matter will be
final.
5. While working on the project, students are required to meet their respective faculty guide a
minimum three times with a view to report progress at various stages of the project and to seek
necessary guidance. Students will maintain a date wise record of visits made to the faculty guide and
obtain their signature at the end of every visit as a proof on the Student copy of synopsis. Students
who fail to visit their faculty guide a minimum of three times will loose substantial marks during the
final evaluation of the project.
6. On completion of the project, student will obtain a project completion report from their respective
faculty guide on the format given in appendix C below. This certificate will be bound inside the
project and shall be its First Page.
a). Completed project will be hard bound with black rexzine cover and golden letters. The outer
project cover should clearly indicate the Project Title, Student Name, Roll No, Course,
Specialization, Faculty Guide etc. Specimen of the project cover page is given in Appendix D.
b). Completed Project along with the 2 copies of the synopsis will be deposited with ADC latest by
7th March, 2014.. ADC will not under any circumstances accept projects after 7th March, 2014.
7.In addition, the students are also required to submit softcopy of the project in PDF form on a
CD (Readable and Copy able CD) with the details as given in Appendix E
