An agreement to hand over al-Yarmouk to Syrian Government

Anwar Raja, Media officer of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Command, said that fighters of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant (ISIL) broke into the houses of Yarmouk camp in Damascus and abducted dozens of citizens. Reconciliation agreement is being discussed for handing over the camp to the Syrian government, and the surrender of armed fighters. ISIL fighters refused this agreement and tried to impede it after it has reached the last phase, he revealed.

Military operation in Yabrud begins

The Syrian Army started an expand operation in Qalamoun targeting Yabroud. The Syrian army advanced towards al-Sahel in Qalmoun and targeted headquarters of al-Nusra and the Islamic Front in Qameaaya and Rima farms in Yabroud, and al-Mal and Zamrani valleys in Qara. Concurrently, the army also advanced in Darayya, Khan Shieh, Mleha, Adra and Jobar in Damascus countryside, official military source said. The Syrian army says it has shot down a balloon that carried spying cameras launched by opposition fighters over Aleppo central prison. UN envoy to Syria Lakhdar Erahimi said that on the fourth day of Geneva conference he would not call for meetings with the delegations of the Syrian government and the opposition coalition.
