TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

UCN-L pumps are single stage, horizontal centrifugal pumps with conventional mechanical sealing. They are connected to the motor through a coupling with spacers (back pull out execution) and are mounted on a base-plate complying with international standards DIN 24256 and ISO 2858. The pump casing features a thermoplastic internal layer in PP, PVDF or PFA, moulded directly on to the cast iron casing shell (ILS Integrated Lining System), thus granting optimal grip even in vacuum situations. The lining technology combines the optimal mechanical resistance of a metallic casing with the high corrosion resistance of the plastic material in contact with the liquid. Thanks to its moulding technology, CDR UCN-L pumps can resist to temperatures up to 120C and pressures up to16 bar. UCN-L pumps can mount different types of single, double and cartridge mechanical seals: Besides the most common seals, CDR offers its own FC 35 seal, that has been engineered focusing on the exigencies of corrosive dirty liquids. Shaft and bearings according to ISO 5199, closed, open and open recessed impellers, all benefiting of CDR unique impeller blocking system, conic stuffing box with anti-abrasion devices and leakage protection options make the High-Tech UCN-L pump most appalling for the most arduous duties. FC 35 MECHANICAL SEAL (API PLAN 01-62)

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION FC35 seal is a new concept of mechanical seal. It is of the stationary type and runs in open area, with the sliding faces, completely immersed in the product which remains outside of them. The faces are in Silicon carbide. FC35 seal is suitable to operate with slurry, pulp, sludge and similar dirty, viscous and extremely abrasives products. Plan 01 = Integral (internal) recirculation from pump discharge to seal. Plan 62 = External fluid quench with auxiliary sealing device.

FC-TC-35 MECHANICAL SEAL (API PLAN 01-53A)

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION FC-TC-35 is double mechanical seal designed to offer bigger warranties respect to the single seat, and is a cartridge seal foreseen to allow a quick service on break down pumps. FC-TC-35 seal has multi-springs and allows the double balancing; this means that the seal runs safety even if the pressure of the buffer fluid fails. Plan 01 = Integral (internal) recirculation from pump discharge to seal. Plan 53A = Pressurized external barrier fluid reservoir supplying clean fluid to the seal chamber. Circulation is by an internal pumping ring. Reservoir pressure is greater than the process pressure being sealed.
