Introduction to Tai County
Tai County Silicones specializes in the

production of silicone emulsions. Our products
are categorized into eight main categories and
these are: textile texture-altering agents
(softeners), surfactants, emulsifiers, fleecing
oil, antifoam compounds, functional silicone
emulsions, releasing agents, and additives. We
have a vast field of application including
textile, hide, rubber, plastics, electronics,
chemicals, foodstuffs, high polymer materials
and construction insulation materials, etc.

Elements in Nature
The Earth is composed of organic and inorganic materials. Of these
materials, silicon is the second most abundant element, second only to
oxygen. Silicon exists mainly as compounds in silicate and silica; it is
environmentally friendly and non-toxic. For these properties, Tai County
mainly uses silicone as our raw material to conform with our slogan “we
will create a nice future with you”.

Texture-Altering Agents
(Softeners)
Texture-altering agents can be applied on T/C, CVC, PET and other
synthetic or non-synthetic fibers. Some of the functions include the
smoothness effect, elasticity altering, darkening, fullness or abundantness.

Antifoam Compounds
Defoamer/antifoam compounds can be used in dilution of emulsions and
soap/detergent anionic foam elimination, printing paste mixing, sewage treatment,
latex paint, printed circuit boards, motor related defoamer/antifoamer, and
surfactant related foams.

Fleecing Agents
Fleecing agents can be applied to

fabrics such as S/P, T and T/C before 3T-60
fleecing for smoothness, softness and
better fleecing efficiency. The agents
allow fabrics to have a bouffant/puffy
hand feel after fleecing, and is very
effective in making plush dry and
bouffant, especially for those with Fleecing
water-absorbing needs, such as towels,
knitted fabrics, acrylic fibers, T/C, or Agent
s u p e r - f i n e f i b e r s .

Functional Amino Fluid
Functional amino fluid is used for

textile, softness, smoothness ,

lubrication and various hand-feels. Amino ( CT-711)

Releasing Agents
(SE-8700)
Releasing agents are used for
efficient-cleaning release
function. Applied to mold
release, it increases production (LE-803)
efficiency, decreases mold
maintenance fees, and
maintains quality lubrication
between metal and non-metals. Releasing
(TS-60)
Some of the applications Agents
include rubber and other
plastics mold release, injection
molding, or as lubrication for
conveyor belts. In textile it (SE-860)
can be used as fleecing agents
with high permeability and a
bouffant, soft, fleecing effect. (TS-99)

Surfactants
Surfactants are either ionic or

anionic, and are used as surfactants,
dispersants or emulsifiers. TO-12 XP-40
Our surfactants come from BASF,

the world-leading chemical
corporation. The main functions are
for silicone oil and emulsification. Surfactants
Furthermore, combined with our
other products, the BASF
surfactants make excellent solvents TO-5 XP-70
which are both economical and
environmentally friendly.

Emulsifiers
Emulsifiers are a type of surfactant. It is
used to lower surface tension. The most TS Emulsifier
commonly used index to measure
emulsifying strength is the Hydrophilic-
Lipophilic Base (HLB).
When HLB is low, it indicates the DSA Dispersant
emulsifier is more lipophilic, and is
easy to form a water-in-oil (W/O)
system; when HLB is high, it indicates
the emulsifier is more hydrophilic, and

is easy to form an oil-in-water (O/W)
system. Tai County offers 4 kinds of
emulsifiers (as the pictures on the right (E-814)
indicate),
which are all environmentally
friendly and great wetting agents. TS-99 Dispersant

Additives
Tai County currently offers 4 additives; F-505 Fleecing Wax, CB Viscosity
Enhancer (for emulsions), RELS Bactericide (for release), and ANTI
Bactericide (for defoamer/antifoamer).
The RELS Bactericide is a water-based prescription specially designed for

emulsion production. The ANTI Bactericide is a widely used product designed
to withstand microbe attacks in water based products, and we specially
recommend it for use on preservation of polymerized sol-gel, oil paint,
coating, adhesives, and printing ink.
The CB Viscosity Enhancer is a high polymer compound used for releasing

agents or defoamers/antifoamers to attain the required viscosity for best
performance. The F-505 Fleecing Wax is a multi-functional mold making
agent. Its main contents are a reactant from wax and surfactants, and dissolves
rapidly in hot water. It is used in plain weave, knitted synthetic fibers or
fleecing of cotton blends.

SE-8700
The SE-8700 is a releasing/mold release
agent. It differs from traditional release
agents in various ways. The SE-8700 can
be stored with stability in a high
concentration, and is able to disperse
evenly and efficiently on any type of
mold, making the percentage of failed
products much lower than traditional
release agents, and the molds do not form
any carbon compounds after usage.
The SE-8700 allows molds to be cleaned

by simply bathing in water. The lack of
need for detergents eliminates chemical
damages on the molds and would cut
down maintenance fees effectively.

LE-803
LE-803 is a highly efficient, stable
and multi-purpose agent. It can be
used as release agent for rubber and
plastics, lubricant for rubber
production, or as fleecing agent in
textile. It can be applied straight out of
the container, or can be diluted first.
The viscosity of this product remains LE-803

stable under high temperatures or
temperature fluctuations, does not
leave residual products, which
pollutes surfaces, and has exceptional
storage and stability due to its inert
properties. LE-803 will improve your
production output, minimize by-
products, and increase product quality.
