General Scholarships

(Current Ontario high school students are not eligible for this scholarship)

Criteria:

An applicant must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a scholarship:

 Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

 Must be entering a full-time, four-year undergraduate degree program.

 Must be currently attending secondary school (in a province other than


Ontario, or attending an international out-of-country high school) taking a
minimum of three full-year courses (or equivalent) within the current academic
year (Fall 06/07).
OR

 Must be currently not taking more than two full-year secondary school courses
(or equivalent) within Ontario and have not taken more than one post-
secondary course.

 Scholarships will be awarded across all programs on a grades-competitive


basis starting at 80% final admission average.

 Based on a personal letter outlining the student’s motivation to study at


Ryerson University.

Scholarships: 50 scholarships

Value: $1500 each

Deadline Date: May 31
