We crowned a winner, and being sensitive to the end-time I had put in the invitation, thought that we were wrapping up.NO! Everyone wanted to play another entire round! We laughed and laughed and all of the couples suggested we do this several times per year!! What a perfect way to connect with others (and your spouse!)

We hosted five couples in our home a few weeks ago for fellowship and to get to know each other better. After enjoying yummy appetizers and desserts, we settled into a round of FamilyLifes game, Spouse-ology. Doug and I had played Spouse-ology with FamilyLife new staff couples a year ago, and thought this would be a great way to build these new friendships. We had no idea that this night would turn in to soooo much FUN! We played an entire round, which consists of questions being asked to either the wife or husband, then seeing if the spouse agreed, or picked the same answer (think the old Newlywed Game!). Family News..We recently enjoyed a visit from Jens parents, Russ and Pat, from
Mobile, AL.the children love sharing their lives with their grandparents! Our sights are now set on Summer after enduring a crazy-weather Spring...

Weekend to Remember...
For 20 years, we have been like 2 children in a toddler swimming class hanging out in the shallow end of the pool, splashing a lot, generating a lot of non-productive activity, so proud we can swim. Now we have the encouraging tools and drive to head to the deep end of the pool! I cant describe it, major affect on our marriage. We are going through a divorce right now. We are calling off the divorce and changing our lives to commit to each other and to Christ. It was profound we finally talked about issues we had buried for years! We laughed, cried and got real!

For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lords holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledgethat you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Almost 10,000 people around the country attended WTRs this Spring. We have heard from so many of you who would like to attend, but havent been able to yet make this your year! ..
