We had medical and dental mission sponsored by our Vice President Jejomar C. Binay .It is held at Lagasca Gym together with my co NDPs, Dr.Oliva, co-staffs of the RHU with the participation of other Doctors and staff from the office of the Vice President Jejomar C. Binay. Every barangay Captains receive a letter of invitation about these. Every one of us had our own designated task to do, some assigned in registration, vital signs, medicine, optical and dental section .Many community people attended and received free consultation, free tooth extraction, reading glasses and free medicines. We are very grateful because we are part of it and we are very thankful because Llanera is one of the municipalities that received the medical and dental mission. DSWD conducted Family Developmental Session of 4PS in Brgy. Bosque,Llanera Nueva Ecija and as Dr. Ma. Elena Oliva representative, I lecture about hypertension and stroke. After the lecture I go to RHU Llanera because we had meeting together with my co NDPs, Dr. Elena Oliva, Maam Cynthia, and Maam Emily to maam Juliet Bernardo. We had the Brgy visit of Dr.Oliva in A.B. Norte. We take the vital signs and blotter and we referred to Dr. Oliva. Many people received lectures from Dr. Oliva and free consultation and free medication. Third week of the month and it is vaccination week. I, together with Maam Norma Santiago in A.B Norte and A.B Sur, and with maam Milagros Ramos in Brgy Bosque vaccinated all the children who need to receive the dose of vaccine that is necessary for them to be protected from the vaccinable diseases. I, together with maam Evageline Iglesias and maam Emily Giron attended the cervical awareness lecture conducted at Heart of Jesus Hospital, San Jose City. We had surgical mission held at RHU Llanera sponsored by Carolina Medical Mission. All the patients screened and all those who passed the screening undergo the surgery. I continue the house to house survey. Still finding EPI defaulters if there is any and those patients with have two weeks cough to collect their phlegm in order to detect whether theyre negative or positive in TB. Continue doing health teaching to community people.

LEARNING/INSIGHTS I have learned that having medical and dental mission is very helpful especially to the indigent and less fortunate people to seek medical attention and advice and to have free medication, it is important also because we all know that they tend to ignore what they feel about their health conditions because of luck of money to consult a doctor and because of medicine cost.

I feel great because I had an opportunity to conduct a lecture about hypertention and stroke for the 4Ps member. It is so nice to be part of this session with the 4 PS because I impart some knowledge to them and i will be able to help and educate them. Thats why for me, its really a great experience having this kind of activities that surely help those participants to be aware and knowledgeable enough to improve their lifestyle to prevent or control hypertention. For me lectures and seminars like the cervical awareness lecture is a good thing to do to enhance our knowledge about new information, new invention and new discovery. Finding those who have signs and symptoms of PTB and proper collection of their sputum is very important for us not only to the patient and their family but for all the community members because it is necessary that they are aware with this disease to break the chain of infection because preventions is better than cure.

ISSUES/CONCERNS Lack of supplied of pentavalent vaccine, needed by the children for them to be protected. Lack of Brgy Health stations as well as equipments such as weighing scale, BP apparatus and thermometer needed to the Brgy. Health stations.

IV.

RECOMMENDATION Hoping that the insufficiency of penta vaccines, brgy health station, medical equipment will be meet to improve health care delivery.
