Introduction College life can be stressful, although it is undoubtedly one of the most memorable experiences in one's life. It represents a critical developmental period for both late adolescents and young adults (Chickering, 1969). Social factors such as romantic relationships,

organizations and clubs, and sports activities have been found to have effects on students academic performance. These social factors affect academic performance in terms of time demanded and the psychological state they may cause. A student may be influenced to be involved in any of the stated variables. The question is ( http://www.webpages.uidaho.edu/). Scholarships come in a variety of forms, but are generally considered to be free money for college. Unlike loans, scholarships do not have to be repaid to the scholarship provider. Some scholarships are awarded directly to the student in the form of a check, while other scholarships are written out to the students college or university. Several different types of providers issue scholarships: clubs and organizations, charitable foundations, businesses, schools, universities, government agencies, and others(www.scholarshipexperts.com). Benefits and allowance: no fees throughout the duration of his program of study, Semestral
stipend of P15000.00 throughout his program of study one-time free two (2) sets of school uniforms and one (1) set of PE uniform, and free use of textbooks (TIP).

In order for the scholar to continue to enjoy the benifits of the scholarship, he shall maintain a Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 1.75 with no grade in any subject below 2.25 every semester during the period of his scholarship. Further, he shall lose his scholarship if he commits any infraction of the General Rules of Conduct and Discipline (TIP).

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This page will be presented the main problem of the statement: -What are the factor he/she will lose the scholarship? How to balance between the stressful academic attainment and social activities? What are the factor he/she will lose the scholarship? What is the influence of scholar students at their school?

Significant of Study The purpose of this study is to improve the students their academic performance skills. The results of this study will benefit the students, the teachers not only in English subject but also in other subjects. This study will be used to many people who may want to know the factors that could make or mar students academic performance (egoboosterbooks.files.). Therefore, the study is significant in this regard. - It attempts to combine study skills with study habit and how they both affect academic performance of students. - It will provide valuable information about the effects of poor study habit on the academic performance of students. - It will serve as resource materials for others who want to carry out research in related field. Scope and Limitation


This investigation was conducted to determine the status of the scholar students in the academic performance during the school year 2013-2014 the aspects looked into were the qualifications of students, their abilities and strategies, cooperation, performance, problems and proposed solutions to problem.

Literature Behavioral studies have traditionally focused on differences between populations, groups, or treatments (Groothuis & Carere, 2005). A more recent trend is to examine variation in personalities which are defined as consistent individual differences across a diversity of situations (Sih et al., 2004; Bell, 2007a; Bell, 2007c; Carere & Eens, 2005; Carere et al., 2005; Groothuis & Carere, 2005). Research Design The study was conducted according to the design of methods being descriptive analytic research, it is a procedure which uses survey-questioner researchers. Attempted to describe and evaluate in this study The Academic Performance of Freshmen Scholar Student for SY 2013-2014 at the Technological Institute of the Philippines, Quezon City.

Respondent of the Study Respondent selected in this study were freshmen schola r at Technological Institute of the Philippines from 2013 to 2014 years BC. They are our chosen because our study is all about scholar student at the Technological Institute of the Philippines was chosen to help our researching.

Research Instrument The study was conducted according to survey-questioner also conduct information gathering researchers in different adapt from the library of books, thesis, proposal, dissertation and term paper. The researchers also get some information on the internet.

Procedure of Gathering Data Since the term paper is a preliminary study only and are not a requirement in obtaining a degree thesis and dissertation like, made no attempt to assess the data in this study by the high and complex that istalikal methods. Number or quantity only chooses each item in each chooses questioner the researchers assessed. Hence the auto-tally and retrieving only the required percentage faced by the researchers.
