As a fresh graduate from East West University with major in Finance, I assume that I have all the qualifications you require, and therefore would complement your departments expertise in conducting research works. A substantial portion of my coursework at the undergraduate level were about conducting different financial analysis on several financial & manufacturing firms at random. The ratio analysis of Apex Foods Limited & Eastland Insurance Limited were of my best workswhich were done in Business Finance and Risk Management and Insurance courses respectively. However, in time, I have become more of a self-learner than just an academic student. Lately in the final years of my undergraduate program, I deployed more time on subjective learning of finance and Economicsas I have come to realize the importance of understanding financial terminologies and their implications. On the one hand, my in-depth understanding of Portfolio Management according to Modern Portfolio Theory (MPT), Ratio Analysis; and a basic understanding of BASEL accords, are illustrations of my learning eagerness subjectively. On the other hand, my achievement of an A & A- grade in the Investment Analysis and Management and Intermediate Microeconomic Theory I respectively shows my academic strength of understanding of major Finance and Economics issues. As an undergraduate student at East West University, I sought out several experiences to apply my theoretical knowledge regarding methodology and statistics to practical research settings. And I think, this is the opportunity for myself to apply my theoretical understanding in a fullfledged basis, if you offer me a chance.
