Segment Marketing Manager

AgroReservas de Chile, SpA Location: San Pedro, Melipilla, Chile Company Profile: AgroReservas de Chile, SpA (ARC) manages agricultural properties in Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Australia. ARC has regional offices located in San Pedro, Melipilla, Chile that serve these southern hemisphere operations. The Segment headquarters is located at the olive orchard and oil processing facility located 30 minutes south of Melipilla, Chile. The Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing corporate strategy through the marketing and sales of food products produced by AgroReservas in Chile, Brazil, and Argentina. The Manager assists in market analysis, development and implementation of segment marketing strategy, and the training and development of "in country" personnel. The Segment Marketing Manager reports to the Vice President Operation, SA. Essential Job Functions: Work with local management team to shape and execute company, segment, and marketing specific strategies. Achieve sales goals and objectives for target markets and at the same time increase sales volumes to match production growth by managing relationships with retail channels, brokers, and distributors. Monitor market development in key importing countries. Manage the sales and shipping teams Ensure sales team maintains consistent contact and provides professional sales and service to customers in targeted areas Implement strategy and tactics in order to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales and marketing goals tied to strategic plans Skills/Education Required: Bilingual (English/ Spanish). Portuguese also desirable Bachelors degree in marketing or related field and 5 years related experience. Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. Excellent conceptual selling and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts and processes. Ability to train and mentor sales team. Ability to identify, contact, and build relationships with key accounts in potential markets including the foodservice and retail food industry. Ability to effectively present and handle questions from groups of managers, clients, or customers . Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
