Nu Flow Monaco Lines 2 Inaccessible Drain Stacks In-Situ

Nu Flows unique, nondestructive technologies are used to preserve aged pipe systems in all types of residential buildings, saving homeowners money and hassle across the globe. Our innovative Pull-in-Place lining solution was the viable only repair solution for inaccessible drain stacks in this up-scale, Monaco residential high-rise. Nu Flow Monaco completed this installation without having to access any residential unit or cause any destruction to the building. Project: Use Nu Drain to rehabilitate vertical drain risers in-place without causing any destruction to the building. Customer: J.A.P.E.D. is a leading developer and builder in Monaco. Site: The roof and basement of a 10-story multi-unit residence, called Le Trocadero, in Grande Bretagne, Monaco. This luxurious building is located just minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. System: The buildings kitchen drain riser and roof drain riser. Both steel risers are 75mm (3") in diameter, 30 meters (99 feet) long and encased in concrete. The pipes are approximately 40 years old.

Nu Flows innovative Nu Drain system was used to rehabilitate two vertical stacks encased in concrete without causing any destruction or any disruption to residents.

Problem: Age caused a build-up of lime scale along the interior of the pipes. The pipes run vertically inside a concrete wall that runs as an exterior wall in the residential units, making them virtually inaccessible and irreplaceable. Solution: Nu Flows innovative technology was the ideal solution for this challenging project. Nu Flow Monacos skilled technicians installed the patented Nu Drain technology to rehabilitate these vertical drain lines in-place. First, the technicians cleaned the lime scale from the drain stacks using Nu Flows proprietary cutting tools. Then, while wearing safety harnesses, the technicians launched the structural liner through the access points on the buildings roof, down through the access points in the basement. The structural liner cured to form a new, seamless, pipe within a pipe. This protective liner will prevent future scale build-up, breaches and other common failures. Residents and their homes were not disrupted. As all types of commercial and residential buildings suffer from problems associated with aged pipe systems, Nu Flow is spreading its nondestructive, inexpensive and eco-friendly solutions across the world.
