Making Internal Calls Dial the extension number required. Lift the handset to speak to your caller. Making External Calls Dial 9 and then the telephone number required. Lift the handset to speak to your caller. Answering Call (Internal & External) Lift the handset. An internal call will be 1 long ring. An external call will be 2 short rings. The display will tell you the name of the internal caller or will show the external number calling you. If the display shows **** or simply says external the caller has withheld their number. The call back function only works on internal calls To set a call back On hearing the ringing or busy tone, press 5. If the user is busy, when their extension becomes free your phone will ring, when you lift your receiver the called extension will ring immediately. If the user is free your call back will appear as a text message asking them to call you. To leave a message directly in a users mailbox If the user has voicemail you can dial 7 to force the voice mail to answer. To transfer a call Dial the extension number required or external number prefixed with a 9 (announce the call if applicable). To transfer the call simply replace the receiver or press your Disconnect key. NB External transfer is only possible if the facility has been authorised on your extension. To broker (toggle between two calls) dial 1. To cancel the transfer If there is no answer, or the extension user does not wish to take the call, press your Enquiry key or dial 2. This reconnects you to the external caller. To hold a call Press the Line key and the solid red light will be replaced by a flashing red light. To regain a held call Press the relevant flashing Line key where your caller is holding. To re-dial the last external number dialled Press your Redial key or dial *70. To send MF touch tones DTMF (needed when dialling into external voicemail or auto attendant system) Press your DTMF key or dial #4. You can now follow the voice prompts by pressing the requested digits on your keypad.

To answer a call for another extension that is in your pick up group Lift your handset and press your Pick Up key or dial *73. This will intercept the longest waiting call ringing to your group. To answer a call for a specific extension or one that is not within your pick up group Dial *72 and the extension number of the ringing phone that you want to intercept. To set up a conference call your extension and 2 other parties When you are on a call and wish a third person to join the conversation, dial the extension number or external number prefixed with a 9. This will put your first call on hold, when you are connected to the second person dial 3. To park a call (This enables you to leave a call on one extension and retrieve from an alternative extension) When you have a call active dial *75. At this point if you know the extension on which you intend to retrieve the parked call enter it now, if not, simply hang up. To retrieve a parked call If you have already defined where you intended to retrieve the call simply go to that extension and dial *75. If you did not specify you must then enter the extension where you originally left the parked call. To divert all calls to an alternative destination Lift your handset, press your Divert key or dial *60 and enter the required destination - ## for voice mail, an internal extension number or an external number pre-fixed with a 9. NB External diversion is only possible if the facility has been authorised on your extension. To divert your calls for when your phone is busy Dial *61 and the required destination. To divert your calls on no reply Dial *62 and the required destination. To divert your calls on busy and no reply Dial *63 and the required destination. To cancel a divert Lift you handset and press your Divert key or dial *64. To make a call from the system speed dials Lift your handset and dial the relevant system speed code. To remove your phone from a hunt group Dial **8. Your handset will confirm out of group. To put your phone back into a hunt group Dial **7. Your handset will confirm in group. To activate your loud speaker During conversation if you press your loudspeaker key, the callers voice will come out of the speaker. As there is no handsfree microphone the caller will not hear any background noise but be aware of speaker volume. To change your ringing tone melody and volume Leave your handset down and press your loudspeaker key. This will allow you to hear your current ring tone. Press it repeatedly to work through the various different options and use your arrow keys to adjust the volume to confirm press your Disconnect key. To programme your personal speed dial number Press MENU or [ ]. Press 2, Press 2. Enter the telephone number you wish to programme remember to enter a 9 to access an external line. Press your PerSpd key. Press the key you wish to store the number under (0-9, * or #). To save press your Disconnect key. To dial your personal speed dial number Press your PerSpd key and the relevant speed dial number (0-9, * & #). To change your display contrast Dial *67. Use your arrows keys to adjust contrast. To confirm press your Disconnect key. To identify the extension number of the handset you are on Press [ ] and dial 3. To change your personal code in default 0000. Dial **4. Enter existing personal code. Enter new personal code. Confirm new personal code. To lock your phone (this will not allow external calls to be made from your extension) Dial *77. To unlock your phone (this will allow external calls to be made from your extension) Dial *77 and enter your personal code. To clear text messages for missed calls Press your Mail key. Your screen will say 1 New Msg. Press OK. 1 Msg Recall. Press OK. This will display the extension that has requested you call them back. If you disconnect it will clear, if you press OK it will dial the extension back.
