Despite being married to Robin Padilla in Muslim rites for three years now, Mariel Rodriguez admits she

is still not ready to handle the "responsibility " of motherhood. Mahirap (magka-baby). Its a big responsibility that I am not yet willing to take, she said at the press conference for their socio-historic action drama movie inspired by the Kuratong Baleleng. Mariel clarified notions that they are having a hard time conceiving due to health reasons. I dont think theres a problem (but) we are not trying either, she maintained. It is not without irony that the TV host-actress is portraying the role of a mother of nine in her upcoming film. Humugot lang talaga ako ng atake sa role itself because I am not yet a mother Although may mga anak si Robin (in his past marriage), hindi ko naman na sila inalagaan dahil may sarili naman silang ina, Mariel explained. Robin, for his part, shared that he doesn't want a child at the moment as he is still enjoying being Mariels baby. Kasi ngayon, ako yung asawa niya, anak niya. Ibig sabihin lang, yung merong nag-aalaga sa akin talaga, he said. The couple shared that they will be leaving for Sweden this February for vacation. I love traveling. We love to travel, Mariel added. Intimidated By Robin According to Mariel, she is intimidated by Robins onscreen persona and acting prowess. Mariel revealed that working with the Padillas in the film was a challenge to her. Lahat sila magagaling umarte. Mariel shared how being part of the films production team tested her

patience. Ako yung nag-continue ng mag-schedule ka ng tao Ang hirap but I think we are all well compensated, she related.
