Personality Portfolio Interview Questions Interviewer: Soyoon Kim Interviewee: Friend Gender: Female Age Group: Same 1. What was your first impression of me? You seemed like an artsy, very preppy student at first sight (back in 9th grade). Although I now realize how bright and happy you are, I did not see that part of you back then. You seemed quite reserved and perceptive. 2. How would you describe my personality in three words? Persistent, Witty, Strict. 3. Am I more of an introvert or an extrovert? Why? On the surface, extroverted because you are bright and willing to take on challenged. But if I take a step back, you seem to be more introverted since you tend to prefer activities that require some time a lone. 4. Would you consider me as someone who is open to new experiences? Why? HELLZ YES. Whether this be art or extracurricular activities, Ive always seen you pushing yourself extra hard. You tried mixing cement in the HFH trip when nobody was willing to volunteer and you take the extra mile of leading your own club! And all this is just a very small portion of the countless new opportunities you uptake. 5. Would you describe me as agreeable or disagreeable? Why? Agreeable. From what I know of, you know how to listen to others and calmly express your thoughts. You dont tend to argue with people or force your opinions through another persons throat. You like to share thoughts, understand the perception of others, and further contemplate on them. 6. How would you rate my confidence level on a scale of 1 to 10 (with 1 being the least confident and 10 being the most confident)? Why? 10. At first, I thought of saying 8... but to me, Soyoon is a girl who knows what to say and what not to say, what to do and what not to do, and she doesnt just think or keep these values to herself, but knows how to express them (you dont conform in a good way). Moreover, (you can take this part out haha) you have the guts to show your affection for other people, which requires a lot of confidence. And I respect this part of you. 7. Would you describe me as a careful or impulsive? Why? Careful. You are very sincereyou really seem to spend time on each step you plan to take. So far, Ive never seen you taking your actions before pondering about it. 8. What do you like most about me You have an unconventional energy! You know how to make people happy around you and how

to draw the lines. Sometimes, people break the boundaries in relationships, but with you I see that you treat every one with respect and sincerity. 9. What do you dislike most about me? Hmm... hard question! This is quite minor, but you sometimes seem like an watcher. For 4 years, I had some classes with you, and we clearly knew each other. However, youve sometimes seemed disconnectedwe are in the same location, clearly breathing the same air, yet in different worlds. In other words, you were hard to approach! Maybe because you looked so organized and focused. 10.Would you describe me as more of a group-oriented or independently-minded individual? Why? I think youd work better independently. This does not imply that you do not work well in groups or anything. Youre very talented and you have great ideas, and I personally think that you tend to feel more free to creating something when youre in a quiet, single-spaced place.
