As a Corporate Banking Associate Relationship Manager, you are a member of PNC's Corporate & Institutional Banking organization. As one of the nation's largest and most diversified financial services organizations, Corporate & Institutional Banking offers a comprehensive array of products and services - financing, treasury management, capital markets, international banking services, M&A advisory services, and more - to corporate and institutional clients of all sizes and industries. Corporate Banking focuses on growing customer relationships in a variety of business and institutional segments. Your essential job functions would include: Assists Middle Market Relationship Managers in development of research/analysis for sales opportunities across portfolios. The Associate RM will be developed to become a Relationship Manager I, and begin to participate on calls to clients to gain an understanding of the client needs. Will begin to own smaller relationships by calling on or responding to less complex client needs without an experienced RM present. Assists in managing credit and providing client service. Performs upfront analysis (projection/sensitivity modeling), due diligence, structuring, credit sheets, loan documentation and annual reviews while actively supporting RMs (loan structuring and loan closing). Provides analytical support on business development presentations, debt rate analysis, acquisition capacity analysis, shareholder value analysis, capital structure analysis, financial models, prospect identification and research on clients, prospects, and industries. Reviews the client's business and financial statement to explore cross-sell opportunities (Treasury Management, Equipment Finance, Asset Management, Workplace Banking, Wealth Management and Capital Markets). Assists in the development of related sales proposals and presentations. Assists in portfolio management, sales management and other needs of the group. Monitors existing loans and reporting requirements such as quarterly financials, borrowing base information, compliance certificates, and guarantor information. Maintains bank credit files in partnership with credit policy. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Minimum of three years of credit related experience including underwriting and financial analysis required. Knowledge of credit and non-credit products required. Prior experience selling banking products preferred. Bachelor's degree required with a major in Accounting or Finance preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills required.
