2 Topic: Safe Lab Procedures and Tool Use.

2.1 Introduction
Being safe in lab is very crucial. Some hazards working with computers are: being electrocuted, burns, deep cut with the sharp edges of different components and chances of getting tetanus by the cut and so on. In order to be safe there are various practices and devices that we learned in this week.

2.2 Objective
Knowing the purpose of safe working conditions and procedures Identifying tools and software used with personal computer components and their purpose. Implementing proper tool use. Knowing different power supply terminologies. Disassembling and assembling computer with recommended tools. Knowing different software tools and hardware tools and their purpose. Implementing proper tools use.

2.2 Activities

Learned about the different tools and how to use it. Learned how to use safety things. Disassembled the computer Assembled it back and turned it on. Learned about the different power terms.

2.3 Finding
With the exact required tools, it is very easy to disassemble and assemble the computer. Found about the different types of power fluctuations like, blackout, brownout, noise, spike and power surge. Also ways to protect computer from them. Found that computer parts should not be thrown as we want and it should be disposed in the designated areas.

2.4 Conclusion
In this week I learned about the different tools used for disassembling and assembling the computer. I also learned about the different hazards of computer and the ways to safely deal with computer.
