OBSERVATIONS
1) Midheaven Sign(s) and condition of the ruling planet of the Midheaven Establishes the intial premise, the next steps of observation determine development of the initial theme one way or another.i Ruling planet is "spokesman" for early vocational statement Focus on Midheaven and its ruling planet ONLY! Ask "Where does the Midheaven ruler want to go?" Double-bodied Signs, like Gemini, Pisces and sometimes Sagittarius can indicate more than one career 2) Dispositor dynamics between Midheaven ruler & aspecting planets Planet y, ruling the sign holding planet x, is the dispositor of planet x; it influences x's position, colors it and can even take over x's position. Example: If O is in h, it disposits E - Mercury's influence colors Neptune because Mercury establishes the descriptive sensibilities of the sign of Virgo, therefore carrying the sense of Neptune forward. (1) Planets within the loop become prominent if it keeps coming back to the same ruling planet (a) Also look for aspect loop(s) to any planet with the dispositor (i) Example: OEUEwPrT(rE) Final dispositor(*) is when a planet is in its ruling sign, like Mars in Aries (1) Final dispositor presents much emphasis in the vocational profile (2) Can be extended through aspects to the final dispositor (3) If conjunctions are made, a key "target statement" is made, either by outreaching to house ruled by the planets or within the house the conjunction takes place MH , its ruler and dispositor can lead to the vocational modality (quality) that is needed by the subject Check the house the prominent planet in the dispositor rules. Look to see if there are any planets there. Always be mindful of sociological reality, not every calling equates to huge income and social prestige. 1) Practice Avoid over measuring, it's a sign of insecurity with the process and it muddles the outcome. Look for repetition involving 1 or 2 planets and repeated references to the same House(s). Making qualifying decisions in interpretive assessment is an art. Do not make detailed, definitive declarations Keep Level in mind, it always tempers the assessment Look for the simplest statement, the one that repeats several times (1) Whatever comes of this it must fit the client's environment, for support and cooperation NEVER REGARD VOCATIONAL PROFILING AS A GUESSING GAME We are waiting for the planets to lead us to a target, an anchor place, comprised of planetary sense and House focus.iii

THE ART IN JUDGEMENT

1) Deeper Technical Understanding Use the following example Sagittarian Midheaven is rule by Jupiter (1) Jupiter carries the Sagittarian whole-form of symbolism forward (2) Study where the Jupiter is , where it has taken the portents of the Midheaven (a) No need to take the sign of Jupiter into account (3) If Jupiter is conjoined to Saturn or any other planet, it will add to the appreciation of Jupiter (a) If it's Saturn, it adds Saturn traits to the Jupiter. Saturn brings business administration to Jupiter's publishing (i) This can be reinforce if the conjunction takes place in 3rd-9th axis (4) Next step is to look to the ruler of the 3rd house and 9th house to see if the ruler(s) are integrated with the process led by Jupiter (a) Trust the archetype of the Planet, no need to add the archetype of the Sign, in the delays the process. (b) We must know the MH ruler is taking us somewhere. (5) Employ dispositor dynamics, Jupiter-Saturn disposits Venus, Venus rules 3rd house and now gets all the attention as the target of the MH ruler, Jupiter (a) As the dispositor Venus carries forward what has already been accumulated analytically in the Midheaven Extension Process, that of business administration in the communication/publishing industry (b) Suppose Venus is peregrine, this puts the thread in the air and therefore it need to be ground. Another way would be to check the planet that conjuncts or tightly aspect the Midheaven (1) Xz-UOqc; R<>O; TqRO; everything goes back into the loop (a) O = The Arts (b) U = Business Administration (i) U + O = Business administration in the arts (2) EqX; Ed3 = final disposit (a) E+U+O = communicating and business administration in the arts Another way is to look to the final dispositor (1) Xj-R; R<>Q (2) PrQ; P<>W (3) Eh = Final dispositor; ErY; Yl= co-final dispositor (a) E9, Yl bring emphasis to the 9th house = the Law Also you can follow a fresh aspect trail (1) Xf-W, W<>P (2) WqR (3) All the aspects to the MH lead back to the same loop except U but its in the sign of z and that again stalls the process. (4) So look to the R that conjuncts W , RO, OEd9 = final dispositor (a) OEd9 = International communication through music
