2014 Pine LakeFest


An arts festival in an artists community

October 4-5, 2014

The town of Pine Lake would like to thank you for your interest in our 2014 LakeFest. This event will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, October 5th, 2014, from 12 to 5 p.m. The festival will take place along Lakeshore Dr. in Pine Lake, GA. This beautiful venue makes a lovely setting for visitors to partake in health and wellness activities, and stroll along the art vendors, and enjoy fine food and music from our world-class stage.

Health and Wellness vendors:


Booth space at this venue is limited. Artists of handcrafted, quality work and personally provided health/wellness services are invited to apply. Only handmade, original items or personal services may be sold; no mass-produced or commercial items may be offered.

Rules for vendors:


Products and services: LakeFest may determine the eligibility of all products and services. Producer reserves the right to deny sales of items that have not been listed on the application. Producer's judgment shall be final and binding. Professionalism: vendors agree to maintain the dignity and integrity of LakeFest and will not perform any acts of a harmful nature (to individuals or environment). LakeFest reserves the sole right to ask any vendor and its employees to leave the festival whom they feel are not acting in the best interest of the festival. Laws: Vendors agree to abide by all applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations pertaining to health, fire prevention, public safety, business licenses, sales tax permits, and applicable liability insurance. Vendors must supply their own tents, and vendor space must be kept neat and professional. Vendors may choose to unload / set up on Friday evening between 5 and 8pm, and 7 to 9:45 am on Saturday. Set up must be complete by 9:45 on Saturday. All vehicles must be moved to the designated parking area after unloading. Festival staff will assist in unloading in order to move vehicles from the vendor area as quickly as possible. Pack up completely before bringing your vehicle to your site at the end as well. Private security is provided Friday and Saturday nights. However, the Festival is not liable for any loss or damage to any property or artwork/products of Vendor resulting from fire, theft or any other cause.

No early tear-down is permitted. Vendors are expected to operate the full hours of each festival day. The Festival will be held rain or shine. No refunds due to inclement weather. Photos, logos and/or websites provided with this registration and taken during the festival may be used by the Festival planning committee to promote this and future events (in fliers, on our website, on posters, ads, etc.). Access to electricity is unavailable. Vendors are responsible for proper safety and health precautions to protect participants, City of Pine Lake, the public and the property of others.

Booth Space and Vendor Fees:


Vendor space will be 10x10, and vendors must supply their own tents and displays. Please be prepared for high winds. A maximum of two vendors may choose to share one booth, and each must supply an application. Booth space is $60** for residents. Multiple and adjoining spaces may be reserved. Vendors are asked to be set up and ready by 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, 11:45 a.m. on Sunday.

Credit card payment is accepted through PayPal. Payments can be addressed to PineLakeFest@gmail.com. Please include identifying information and the words "Wellness Vendor Application Fee" with your PayPal submission.

The committee will review your application and issue final approval. You will receive confirmation upon approval. Vendors not chosen for this years festival are invited to apply again next year. Refunds to those not accepted or those withdrawing their participation will be granted, less a $5 administrative fee, through September 1st. After September 1st, no refunds will be granted.

Festival agreement: By signing this application, I understand and accept that this constitutes a contract between myself (the artist/business) and the Pine LakeFest 2014. I understand that my application will not be considered complete, and therefore not evaluated, until payment for booth space is received. Further, I/Vendor agree to indemnify, defend and forever save and hold harmless the Festival, its affiliates, and related entities, and their respective parents, employees, representatives, tenants, agents, contractors and volunteers, from and against any and all damages, claims, losses, demands, costs, expenses (including attorneys, fees and costs), obligations, liens, liabilities, actions and causes of action, threatened or actual, which any one of the indemnitees may suffer or incur arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with the art exhibit.

** For Pine Lake Resident Vendors only: We aim to support our own. We want your participation, and we want you to have a successful event. A stronger event means a stronger experience for all of us. For some, a $60 booth fee is difficult. If you find yourself in this position, this opportunity is for you: For the 2014 festival, the LakeFest planning committee is offering work scholarships to local residents. In exchange for a booth fee of $40, we will assign you a task that can be accomplished before, during, or after the festival. Complete the following in order to apply.
