PURPOSE The intent of this document is to guide new user to be familiar with the LH INTERFACE PROGRAM.

INTRODUCTION TO LH INTERFACE LH Interface Program is a set of Visual Basic Application code that is compiled in MS-Excel application. The code is self-executable and does not require any special application other than MS-Excel. The LH or PSL generated is independent of this program and can be opened in Excel without installing this program.

INSTALLATION To install this program you need MS-Excel (2000) or higher version. If you have any old version of LH Interface Program then you need to delete the old folder before upgrading to Version-2.4. To install the program on your machine follow these steps: a) b) c) d) e) f) Create folder LHINTERFACE in D:\ Drive. Copy all program files into D:\LHINTERFACE. Launch MS-Excel. Set Excel Security Level (Tools->Macro->Security) to Medium or Low. Open File InstallLHInterface.xls. Click on Button Install LH Interface Program.

After successful installation, you get a new menu added to your MS-Excel as below:-

This menu will remain in Excel till you uninstall LH INTERFACE PROGRAM.

LH FROM ROHR2 Support list in AP-Belfort format is named as LH. A new LH can be made from submenu LH from Rohr-2.

This check box is optional and is made for updating piping batch information as per line list. On clicking this check box LH Interface will present a dialog box called Read Line List. Refer Clause no. 6.0 READING LINE LIST BY LH INTERFACE to provide input to this dialog box. This information is filled in automatically as per selected file ( A ). Enter LH Document no. Enter Project Name. Enter Support Rev No.. Select Format either LH or PSL.

Click on Create. PDMS ATTA LIST REPORT A PDMS Report template (File name : ATTALIST24) is supplied along with LH INTERFACE as a part of the program. This template may optionally be copied to the PDMS report template folder. Alternatively, it can be run directly from installation directory (D:\LHInterface) of LH INTERFACE. Note that Attribute Attype should be HANG in PDMS. Note that Attribute :POWBATCH should be entered properly in PDMS. To make PDMS ATTA LIST Report the following steps are necessary. Modify Report template as below through Utility menu of PDMS.
